Spicey tonkotsu - was decent. 3/5.
    Mark G.

The spicy tonkotsu was okay. Probably 2.5/5. But that did not redeem my review enough to save the abomination of What they call pho. They hardly had any broth. What little broth that was there tastes like it was blended with ramen and other soup broth. Felt like they just use one base for all their soups and then add oil or spices to make it the 'soup' they want. Terrible. Over loaded the noodles. Didn't even have good meat on it either. Best thing they provided was the cubed ice and Diet Coke

The place is not bad by any means, but I was not blown away. Pricing isn't horrible, but it did seem a little expensive given it was not very high quality, and the service could be better. The beef lo mein had some flavor, and the portion size was solid. If I am in the area, I would probably try it again, but definitely not going out of my way to eat here.

The service and food was good, they were fast. A great place for a quick meal that will fill you up. Large portions!

Ordered Asian Noodle for the first time and it was delicious! I just dropped by to cure my takoyaki craving, but ended up getting a couple more items. I really enjoyed everything, especially the takoyaki and portion of the Dan Dan noodles. Definitely going to be back to try the other items!

The food was great. But a woman back in kitchen kept coughing. She really shouldn't be working in a restaurant until the symptoms stop.

I received a flyer in the mail and decided I'd order delivery. I used their website to order, and delivery fee was only $1. (I believe EatStreet / GrubHub charge more for delivery, but I could be wrong.) What was super convenient was that I could pick a delivery time, which I needed to do since I had a bunch of meetings. I ordered the fried spring rolls because why not. They were good! They stayed crisp and were crisp when I ate them. It was pretty standard. I originally had wanted the Vietnamese spring rolls, but I guess it hasn't been added to their online ordering menu. The pan-fried noodles were good too. I got it with beef and mai fun. I wish there had been more variety in vegetables in there besides napa cabbage. The picture in the flyer depicted more colors than what I received. Delivery was super prompt, so I'm overall really pleased!

This is a surprise. Never judge the book by the cover- the place looks very unassuming right on a busy street on regent. The name doesn't sound so authentic so never got to try this place until today. The reviews so good - we had to make this trip to try it out. Yelpers delivered again! This was so good. The service was amazing as well. The lady spoke perfect english and food came out super fast. We started with our dumpling in spicy sauce- it was more tangy with Chinese vinegar- if you like spicy, you will need to add more chili oil which was available right by your table side along with other condiments. We also ordered a bowl of spicy tonkotsu ramen and a bowl of hand pulled noodle with beef. The tonkotsu broth was on point. If I have the be picky- the egg wasn't runny enough. It was so good otherwise. The hand pulled noodle broth needed more flavor. I had to add a bunch of vinegar and chili oil to bring it up to my liking but for the price they charge- it was a huge bowl with plenty of beef. We just couldn't finish it. All in all, it was an excellent experience. Will definitely visit again when we are craving a hot bowl of noodles and the dumplings were super good as well. Must try for noodle lovers.

Excellent food and service. So much food it was unbelievable. Good flavor not too salty. Great for college kids and great for grandmas too. Yes

Different ratings for different dishes here. New restaurant in a good location, but parking may be difficult. Lots of different noodle options with lots of different protein options which makes it convenient. My review is based on directly comparing the beef noodle and ramen dishes with other local restaurants. I tried the hand pulled noodle soup with beef and vegetables, tonkatsu ramen, and pan fried udon noodles with shrimp. Prices are overall very reasonable here, but I would only come back for select food options. Hand pulled noodles with beef and vegetables: 3/5. Compared to Ruyi (my favorite new place) and Chen's Dumplings, this one fell flat for me. Especially since the extra fee for vegetables only included a piece of bok choy, napa and some bamboo didn't seem worth it. The meat was tender and flavorful but the broth fell flat for me. Tonkatsu: 3.5/5. I enjoyed the flavor and really appreciated that they included an entire egg in this dish. Not a bad place to get ramen with very reasonable prices. Pan Fried Udon: 5/5. Loved this dish and would come back just for this one next time! The flavor on the udon was fantastic and the dish came with stir fried onions. The shrimp were large and plentiful. Best dish we had here. Overall, very decent prices with a large menu. Convenient for those who want different types of noodles.

This is my third time eating here (1st time during pandemic). The first two times I ordered their beef egg noodle and it was good. This time I ordered Spicy Tonkutsu Ramen and Spring rolls. The ramen was okay- I do like how they make their Shoya Tamago which is the Japanese soy sauce egg. It's runny and not fully cooked like the ones from Ramen Kid. But I think overall, the ramen can be worked on. I don't recommend getting their spring rolls. It's not wrapped tightly so everything falls apart. The shape of it is also not great, it's like a regularly square-ish look vs how an actual spring roll supposed to be. They had most of the ingredients correct but... they added some chicken scrapes in there. The chicken isn't breast or thigh.. it's those chicken texture in American fusion "chicken" fast food. After eating It, I didn't have a "wow that was a good spring roll" thought. Don't think I will get it again.

This is the dark horse on the ramen scene in the Madison area. My motto when trying new places is that if they can get the basics down, they can do anything well. Not to mention the price point, it's cheaper than any of the places I've tried in the area and still knocks it out of the park. It's a tiny place with not much parking, but if you're just getting takeout, it's almost as if you're dining in. I ordered the spicy tonkotsu ramen which was $9.95. It wasn't spicy at all but the flavor profile was 10/10 regardless. I truly appreciate how much care they put into the presentation of the takeout bowl as you can see in the pictures before and after putting in the broth. That really took the experience the extra mile for me. The noodles are fresh, the cuts of pork belly are juicy and the broth is delicious and not too salty. Since the noodles are so fresh, if you don't pick it up as soon as it's ready, they tend to stick together in a single block. So once you get home, let the noodles sit in the warm broth for a bit so they can separate a bit before eating them or it will be difficult for you. Worth a try if you're a hungry student in the mood for some umami!

    Hand-pulled noodle soup with beef

Yum! Saw this pop up about a month ago as a new restaurant and I'm happy I finally got to try it - winter is HERE and I need all the hot comfort food I can get. It's a small, cozy place with probably only about 5 tables inside. The menu is relatively simple - their 4 main categories are either pho, ramen, hand-pulled noodle soup, fried rice, or hand-pulled sautéed noodles, with the option to choose the type of noodle and protein inside. I stopped by on a Friday night and it was pretty busy inside - we got the last table available. Service was also fast and like a previous review said, the prices are very reasonable and the portions are HUGE (ranging from $8-10 usually). There were a few glitches with the computer system and mixing up orders, but something that will likely get smoothed out as time goes on, as they are a newer restaurant. Now, on to the most important part - the food! I ordered the hand-pulled noodle soup with beef. Out came a huge bowl of savory broth at the perfect temperature, sliced beef that fell apart in the dish, and thin hand pulled noodles inside. It was very authentic and it was a tasty dish that very much tasted like home to me. The broth could use a little more flavor to it (I had to add hoisin to it to enhance it more) but other than that, a really solid dish. The hand-pulled noodles were excellent. My friend ordered the pho, and it was standard - could also use some more flavor. The crab rangoons were decent and full of flavor, but were insanely hot when they came out. The winner here really was the hand-pulled noodle soup - would definitely come back for this! Especially for the price and the speed, I think this is a really valuable addition to the Madison food scene.
