This place is WONDERFUL. I came here with my son after spending the afternoon at Urban Air Adventure Park. We got two half box orders of boneless thighs (original crispy and soy garlic/sweet & spicy), fries, and water. The chicken took about 15-20 minutes to cook, but it was well worth the wait. My son (the pickiest eater in the world) LOVED the boneless thighs, and even the French fries. I thought everything was seasoned and cooked to perfection. The flavors were all fantastic, with the soy garlic being my favorite. The fries were also some of the best fries I've ever had. Super crispy on the outside but fluffy on the inside. The food also came with Cole slaw which was DELICIOUS, and I say this as someone who normally strays away from Cole slaw. Customer service was excellent. The woman at the front was very friendly and clear with describing the food. Their presentation was top notch also. The food was packaged beautifully and even the bag it came in was just really well designed. It was like opening a holiday gift of delicious food. I would highly recommend paying this place a visit, although you'll probably have to do take out since they have limited seating. That's probably the only downside I can think of, but they still deserve 5 stars overall read more

Happy to have another Korean fried chicken place close to home. We decided to try the thigh meat in soy garlic and original with honey and sweet/spicy sauce on the side. The order was delivered via Seamless and it was still hot and crispy on arrival. The packaging was perfectly placed in a nice bag and the containers were vented to keep the food from steaming. The chicken was really tender and juicy. There wasn't a ton of breading either. It was basically all chicken. The soy garlic was my favorite flavor, but also enjoyed the original by itself and dipped in honey and sweet/spicy sauce. The yuca fries have a crisp, airy texture I've never experienced before, which kept me going back for more. This size was a good portion for 2 people to share and was reasonably priced. read more

WOW! This spot is a Gem! With plenty of competition this spot ranks in its own top tier classification. From the level of service and attention the staff demonstrates to the quality of the food served and plentiful portions! A few weeks ago I made my first visit not expecting too much but the front desk clerk/cook provided me with information and more such as accommodating for the sauces to be on the side! While this may not be an easy spot to dine in due to size, the convenience of its location and parking make it an easy takeout spot. The bites were so flavorful and of the utmost quality! The sauces were also fantastic. This spot is a WINNER, I'd recommend highly and will without a doubt be returning! read more

Fried Chicken! Korean Fried Chicken! Korean Fried Chicken Wings!!! YEAH, BABY!!!!!! Was SO psyched to see a Korean Fried Chicken place come to our small town! There are other places around that I have tried, and they're all good... But, in a pinch, they're not as conveniently located as this place would be. So, I anxiously awaited their opening. Last night was the night when the stars aligned for giving this place a try -- Christmas leftovers (finally... LOL) gone, tired from a hard day of work, and not feeling like cooking... And aligning is exactly what the stars did; as Daegu Chicken did NOT disappoint! After reading some reviews of the other location at the H-Mart in Little Ferry, I decided to order the full box of wings with the Red Dragon sauce with a side of yuca fries, and took the advice to expect a 25-30 minute wait time; as everything is prepared fresh to order. Arriving to pick up a half hour after ordering (as I was also told in the phone when I called it in), the order was ready. I was greeted with a smile from the nice woman behind the counter. The inside of the restaurant, though small in regards to seating, was bright and clean and modern with a nice wide-open feel. I noticed that they kept my order parts out of the bag until the last minute, and appreciated that method to keep the items crispy. After arriving home, I was immediately impressed with the presentation while unpacking the bag. The small details of the packaging were impressive and inviting. The chicken was among the best I've had -- Fresh, hot, juicy, meaty and crispy... And the Red Dragon sauce was delicious with the appropriate amount of kick! -- Not at all overpowering, but in no regards wimpy. The yuca fries were interesting and tasty, different from what I'm used to getting from Latin restaurants (in that they were all the same size and felt like they had a coat of breading on them). The dipping sauce was good, but not enough for the size of the order. *My only complaint about the meal. The cole slaw was standard, and a good accompaniment to the chicken. Little pieces of what seemed like a fried pasta were mixed in with the wings. Not sure (sorry) what they are exactly, but they tasted and had a bite like cavatelli. They acted as a nice pallet cleanser/neutralizer, even though the sauce also clung to them nicely. I highly recommend Daegu Chicken, and look forward to returning and trying their other sauce flavors and sides. read more

Been hearing about this place for a while, and finally ventured here. We called in the order, and picked it up in about 25mins. It all started with a well packaged and presented take out bag and containers - as we all eat with our eyes first, right? And if they put so much care into the presentation, you get the sense that they put as much care and love into their food! We're not Korean, but have tried Korean Fried Chicken from various places around the country. I'm happy to report that this place is very good! Not sure what they're doing differently but the flavor, the crunch and the juiciness of the chicken is deliciously awesome!! One of the best we've had around here. The Yucca Fries and Onion Rings have a nice tasty crunch - yum! Highly recommend this place, and we can't wait to go back to try other sauce flavors! read more

Stopped in here from out of town and was craving some friend chicken. Thought I'd give these guys a shot and it did not disappoint. The staff was very friendly and took their time to make sure I knew all my options and had an order I was excited about. Went with the the half order wings (honey and the red dragon flavor,) little sweet and spicy to go along with some yucca fries that paired nicely. Took about 10-15 minutes which is more than fine because obviously these guys are frying/cooking the chicken right there when you order so it has not been sitting around. Overall the flavor was on point and it had a great juicy crunch that you can't always get. Give these guys a try! read more

Omg is all I have to say about the chicken tenders and onion rings! My boyfriend and I got 12 chicken tenders and a order of onion rings, we ordered a bunch of different sauces so we can try them all. Our favorites were the soy garlic, honey and sweet and spicy. Both the onion rings and chicken were very crispy and they tasted like the oil they are using is really fresh. My boyfriend said after the first crunch the food melts in your mouth!!
