Really grateful for the kindness and service. They went the extra mile to help us after an incident with an elk.

I met my ex-wife here and we have two beautiful girls together and besides the fact of making a terrible decision that's the only legal trouble I've ever been in my life. After the unfortunate incident I was having trouble getting caught up so I remained in constant communication with the establishment letting him know that I was working on payment. When I finally got the money I went in there with cash in hand to pay it and I was told that the bank came and picked up the truck and they do not have it anymore. I was obviously heartbroken and asked him if there's anything he could do and he said no. Six months later I found out that the bank did not take the truck and the owner of the establishment is now driving it. And yes I still owe the bank for the truck and that's every single penny. It hit not only my credit but a very good friend of mine that was nice enough to cosign for me. He is the lowest of the low and took advantage of me in a time of need and I highly suggest that no one ever uses the service.

I had a simple request; help me get back into my car that I was locked out of. My spare was missing so I had no choice but to call someone since the Steamboat Police Department doesn't unlock cars anymore since it apparently "takes away business". So I called Alpine on Sunday to see if they could help me, the girl on Sunday said that's no problem and asked what my address was. I told her and she said "unfortunately we don't have anyone in the steamboat area today. (Always there when you need us). I find this confusing because they're open for business and according to their map on the website they're located near 5th street which is 0.4miles away from my house. She said someone could help me on Monday in the afternoon, all I had to do was call back. So I did. Monday afternoon, same woman picked up the phone, I asked if someone could help me now, she said yes and said it would be just after 5pm, I said no problem. 6:30pm roles around, an hour and a half later, I'm patiently waiting for "Freddy" to show up, but I get a phone call from a new woman named Lauren, she said "we know you have an appointment and it's getting late but our driver isn't going to make it". I have an appointment and live 0.4miles away... and they can't make it?? (Always there when you need us). So Lauren asked if I would be able to do the next morning and I said had work 6am-2pm, but then she had informed me that I actually didn't have to be there, the driver could still unlock my car and just hide my car keys under the driver side floor mat. I agreed to this, even though it meant I had to take the bus to work and would be 30min late the next morning. It's Tuesday now, I got a phone call from Lauren at 1:55pm to let me know my car is finally unlocked, but the driver didn't bother to look for the key to hide it under the mat like I was promised, he just unlocked it and left. Now my car is unlocked with the keys just sitting in the ignition ready to be stolen... this is Steamboat so I'm not too worried but it's not what Lauren promised me. I got no apologies for all the delays, my keys weren't hidden like promised, and it still paid $75 for bad service. I'm very disappointed and find it hard to believe all these positive reviews are legit. I don't recommend using Alpine Towing for ANYTHING. I still don't even have my emailed receipt! (Always there when you need us).

Eagle Vail Towing - What a handsome guy!!!

My recent experience wasn't just a transaction; it was a masterclass in customer care during a stressful situation, and I feel compelled to share how outstanding this company truly is. My need for a tow came at the worst possible time--during a busy weekend, with family waiting for me, and my car completely disabled on the shoulder of I-70. The anxiety and frustration were immediate. From the very first phone call, however, that anxiety began to melt away. The dispatcher who answered was calm, empathetic, and incredibly clear. She listened patiently, asked all the right questions to understand my situation and location, and provided a transparent, fair quote with no hidden-fee pressure. Her reassurance that "we'll take care of you" wasn't just a phrase; it felt like a promise. The true heroes of the story arrived right within the quoted window: the tow truck operators ( John and Sean ). I cannot overstate their professionalism. They introduced themselves warmly, immediately put out safety cones to protect the scene, and explained every step of the process to me. They treated my vehicle not as a broken piece of metal, but as my personal property, handling it with meticulous care. There was no rushing, no carelessness--just skilled, deliberate work. They even asked if I had any personal items in the car I needed to retrieve before securing it. What impressed me beyond their technical skill was their genuine kindness and demeanor. They could clearly see I was stressed, and they alleviated that not with platitudes, but with competent action and respectful conversation. They were friendly without being intrusive, professional without being cold. It transformed a potentially miserable hour into a bearable, even educational, experience. They ensured I had a safe ride and clear instructions on where my car was being taken and what the next steps were. The entire process, from the initial call to the final drop-off at the repair shop, was seamless. The billing was exactly as quoted, with a detailed, easy-to-understand receipt provided electronically. In a world where service industries often over-promise and under-deliver, Eagle Vail Towing is a shining exception. They delivered on every front: punctuality, transparency, technical expertise, and above all, human decency. I wholeheartedly recommend Eagle Vail Towing to anyone in the Vail Valley or surrounding areas. You are not just getting a tow; you are getting peace of mind. They turned my emergency into a demonstration of what excellent service looks like. Thank you to the entire team at Eagle Vail Towing--from the compassionate dispatcher to the fantastic roadside crew--for your invaluable help. You have a customer for life, and I will be singing your praises to everyone I know. Five stars are not enough!
