Unfortunately, our trip in colorado was marred by a flat tire in the middle of the mountain, at midnight, 1.5 hours away from any civilization in either direction. The operator for alpine towing truck company was very frank and helpful, giving us a clear price with no hidden costs, and also taking the initiative to suggest we contact roadside assistance for covering said costs (which ended up going through). Finally, the driver performed his role very well, and was genuinely willing to help in every way he could, which was a great conclusion to an otherwise hellish night stranded on the side of the road. read more

Very thankful to Dee for helping us get the car out of a ditch, jump start it and troubleshooting our issue himself to avoid being without a vehicle. Though he helped us find a mechanic that was open and available during the Christmas holiday, we ended up not needing it because of Dee's help. SO very much appreciated! read more

We spent a great week up in grand Lake boating on our way home. The axle on our boat trailer broke. Our insurance wasn't able to get anybody to help us out. EXTREMELY thankful for Alpine Towing who got us out of an awful car rental situation. Our rental died and Dan or "D", picked up our rental in granby and exchanged it with a new one in Denver. The lady who dispatched Dan was also amazing; empathetic towards us and helpful in working with the rental. THANK YOU read more

Did not answer their phone when I needed them most. In an area with only two towing services, this being in my community, I found non-responsiveness to be poor business. I do not recommend. read more

A awesome human being named D did more than just Tow my car but helped me repair it and gave me a lift to the nearest Auto parts store. I strongly recommend Alpine Towing and appreciate how reliable they are for you when you are in a difficult situation. read more

Joseph was amazing at Alpine towing... We thought we had to tow our car down to Denver and he told us to call first to make sure they would be able to get the car in ...thank goodness we listen to him ! They said they won't be able to look at our truck until middle of April or the end of April at three different dealerships I texted Joseph back and he gave me another suggestion !!! Luckly I had called around Frazer and found another auto place that said they could order theparts today and get it done within a couple of days Joseph had to do a little research on his own to get the car in neutral. He knew how to Google the make of the car ,follow directions and figure out how to get the car in neutral to tow it .We didn't have a owners manual Thank you to everyone at Alpine towing and AAA ..we will be able to get our car fixed up in Winter Park and be able to drive back down to Denver by the end of the week!!! read more

After getting help from Dee for my car, which was stuck in the snow, you get the sense he would help you with anything in your life. Helpful, knowledgeable, friendly and genuinely interested in a good outcome for you when you're in trouble. Dee figured out multiple issues that had cascaded and made it seem to everyone that there was a serious problem with my car. Dee had a simple solution...a jump...and we were all set. Saved us a ton of money and inconvenience. I can't recommend him highly enough! Thank you!!! read more

Oryan helped me get my car out of the Winter Park parking lot after I had a little accident. He was so quick and efficient, not to mention kind and sweet! He waited for me to get back up to the mountains from Denver and gave me a lift back home to Capitol Hill. The ride was enjoyable and I felt safe. He's good conversation & good company. Alpine Towing is so lucky to have him! read more

Driver called D helped us out today after hitting a pothole on 40 right on the way into Winter Park, busting both passenger side tires and cracking the rim. He couldn't have been nicer and made a bad experience so much better...he even gave us a lift to Pepe Osaka for some direly needed tacos and beer! Thank you, D! read more

I was referred to Alpine through AAA on Friday morning. I was told my tow would happen that day or by noonish on Saturday. I called Alpine towing for a status update at 2:00 pm Saturday and no one answered and the voice mail box was full. I continued to try to work through AAA with Alpine for this tow, but now, Tuesday, I have been told by Alpine (through AAA, as they still aren't answering the phone) that they can't do the tow. DO NOT USE ALPINE TOWING!!!! Call Pete's towing in Granby or Hilly's Hooker Service in Fraser read more

My service person named "Will" got up here to help even though there was a nearby fire and the road was for local access at the time.. He worked until he got into my truck and was very informative, pleasant and professional. We really appreciated the extra effort he made to get up here to help!! read more

I drove my car into a ditch tonight near Tabernash and Alpine sent a driver in the night off Hwy 40. A Good Samaritan showed up to help but without Jesse from Alpine it would have been a problem. I learned, leave it to the professionals to get it done right. I Thank Alpine as every one else has. They are just good people!!! Dennis Winter Park read more

Last night around 8:00 I thought I was a race car driver in the Pikes Peak Hill Climb. Well with my daughter and dog in my truck I ended up hanging off the side of the road scared to death. I thought for sure we were going to start rolling down the mountain. I called Alpine towing and they showed up about 15 min later. The recovery guy Jeff was amazing. He had us back on the road in 30 min and no damage to my truck. Jeff is top notch!!! Thanks for saving us from my stupidity. read more

On a recent weekend outing to Snow Mountain Ranch, our Yukon blew an oil cooling line and left us stranded in dicey weather with night approaching. Oryan arrived from Alpine promptly to haul the vehicle to our mechanic near Denver. He was courteous, knowledgeable, helpful, careful and efficient. When we got back to town, we found it parked exactly where and as we had asked. If you have to experience this sort of vehicle breakdown, it cannot happen with less pain and inconvenience than this! Thanks! read more

At first I had an incident with my driver getting into an accident before picking up the vehicle which was fine and understandable but after when my vehicle was towed to its destination I requested that the company tell the service team where they had put the keys and unfortunately I had to call the mechanic shop an hour after to find out that they never called. Understandably this could've made my vehicle wait an extra day or two without being serviced just because the key would've not been found. read more

Five stars only because six or seven is not available. We stopped in Winter Park at dinnertime last night after a weekend at our nearby place. Upon getting back in our car (a Highlander hybrid) to head to Denver, we found the vehicle to be completely dead. No battery; no nothing; not even the ability to get it out of park. We called AAA who quickly dispatched someone to give us a jump start. That was unsuccessful. We were told that there was potentially something seriously wrong with the hybrid system and that the vehicle would need to be towed. Another call to AAA ensued to arrange a late-night tow to our mechanic in Denver. This job was assigned to Alpine Towing. Justin, the owner of Alpine, arrived at about 9:30 with his flatbed truck for the long ride over the pass and down the mountain. However, before loading the car, he decided to spend a few minutes seeing if he could figure out what was wrong. Justin was a miracle-worker indeed, managing to bypass parts of the system to jump-start the battery and get the engine running smoothly. He stayed with us to make sure all was in order. Eventually, instead of a tow, we drove back to Denver on our own, though with instructions to call Justin after we got over Berthoud Pass to assure him that all was fine. This was service of the best kind. It cost Justin and Alpine a tow job. But he put our interests first and obviously knew what he was doing. Five stars and two thumbs way up. With appreciation. read more

Customer Service is Horrible. Lauren who answers the phone for Alpine Towing is a horrible person to work with. She gave false information on many occasion with no sense of remorse for lying to her customers. Its too bad because the techs were amazing and very professional. I would never recommend anyone to Alpine Towing because of my experience with the person they have answering the phone. Anyone with a -D rating through the Better Business Bureau explains a lot about what their customers mean to them. read more

My car battery was dead so AAA sent this company. They show up and get this tiny charger out to jump our SUV. I asked the guy if he was sure that little thing could do the job and he assured us, 'it does ten cars a day'. It didn't work. He said he could tow us if we couldn't figure it out. This would have costed hundreds since we were at a ski resort. He left and I found a random person with jumper cables in the parking lot. Started right up. Pretty sure they were trying to get us to use their towing service to make more money. They're a con read more

After my Budget Rental Car gave it up and left me stranded at the west entrance of Rocky Mountains National Park, eventually those geniouses came up with the plan to send my a Lyft... in the middle of nowhere. Thank God the gal at Alpine told me that would never work and helped me find a local option to rent a car to get to my hotel in Estes Park. They picked up the POS Budget car and dropped off a Camry that got me where I needed to go. I suck at remembering names, but I know Joey, the gal I spoke to and the driver all really helped salvage my vacation. First Class Service! Budget on the other hand can KMA! read more

Was quoted 3-4 hours due to them working on an "emergency" (which is fine, I understand that) and then 8 hours later crickets. Called and she said she didn't think it was an emergency and would do it the next day. Now in the morning I called for an update and then she said she won't do it today either. My car isn't running and stuck an hour and a half away from me. It's been over 24 hours waiting for them to pick up my car. They give zero updates, i've had to call them for any sort of communication. She also said there's no way the driver would take my car to Denver from Winter Park. She did have time to move it to a parking lot but said she won't tow it to where the original request was... If that's too far then they should have said that yesterday and told AAA that as well so AAA can use a reliable company. If you need an actual tow, good luck and don't waste your time. The receptionist was extremely rude and told me she was "done with me". She was highly unprofessional towards anything , not apologetic about their mess up. Just had a huge attitude with me and called me "honey". read more

Alpine towing was incredibly friendly and helpful. Had a radiator hose crack and lost all our coolant as we were leaving the YMCA campground to head back home 2.5 hours away. The whole Alpine crew showed up and helped us call around to try to find a parts store that had the part in stock. When nobody did they towed our car back to their shop and helped my husband figure out a temporary fix, letting us use their tools. They also helped transport our two kids and pulled out some toys for the kids to play with while we were stranded. We are so thankful for their kindness and generosity! read more
