Unfortunately, our trip in colorado was marred by a flat tire in the middle of the mountain, at midnight, 1.5 hours away from any civilization in either direction. The operator for alpine towing truck company was very frank and helpful, giving us a clear price with no hidden costs, and also taking the initiative to suggest we contact roadside assistance for covering said costs (which ended up going through). Finally, the driver performed his role very well, and was genuinely willing to help in every way he could, which was a great conclusion to an otherwise hellish night stranded on the side of the road. read more

Very thankful to Dee for helping us get the car out of a ditch, jump start it and troubleshooting our issue himself to avoid being without a vehicle. Joseph was amazing at Alpine towing... We thought we had to tow our car down to Denver and he told us to call first to make sure they would be able to get the car in ...thank goodness we listen to him ! They said they won't be able to look at our truck until middle of April or the end of April at three different dealerships I texted Joseph back and he gave me another suggestion !!! Luckly I had called around Frazer and found another auto place that said they could order theparts today and get it done within a couple of days Joseph had to do a little research on his own to get the car in neutral. He knew how to Google the make of the car ,follow directions and figure out how to get the car in neutral to tow it .We didn't have a owners manual Thank you to everyone at Alpine towing and AAA ..we will be able to get our car fixed up in Winter Park and be able to drive back down to Denver by the end of the week!!! read more

I was referred to Alpine through AAA on Friday morning. I was told my tow would happen that day or by noonish on Saturday. I called Alpine towing for a status update at 2:00 pm Saturday and no one answered and the voice mail box was full. I continued to try to work through AAA with Alpine for this tow, but now, Tuesday, I have been told by Alpine (through AAA, as they still aren't answering the phone) that they can't do the tow. Last night around 8:00 I thought I was a race car driver in the Pikes Peak Hill Climb. Well with my daughter and dog in my truck I ended up hanging off the side of the road scared to death. On a recent weekend outing to Snow Mountain Ranch, our Yukon blew an oil cooling line and left us stranded in dicey weather with night approaching. At first I had an incident with my driver getting into an accident before picking up the vehicle which was fine and understandable but after when my vehicle was towed to its destination I requested that the company tell the service team where they had put the keys and unfortunately I had to call the mechanic shop an hour after to find out that they never called. Understandably this could've made my vehicle wait an extra day or two without being serviced just because the key would've not been found. read more

Five stars only because six or seven is not available. We stopped in Winter Park at dinnertime last night after a weekend at our nearby place. Upon getting back in our car (a Highlander hybrid) to head to Denver, we found the vehicle to be completely dead. No battery; no nothing; not even the ability to get it out of park. We called AAA who quickly dispatched someone to give us a jump start. That was unsuccessful. We were told that there was potentially something seriously wrong with the hybrid system and that the vehicle would need to be towed. Another call to AAA ensued to arrange a late-night tow to our mechanic in Denver. This job was assigned to Alpine Towing. Justin, the owner of Alpine, arrived at about 9:30 with his flatbed truck for the long ride over the pass and down the mountain. However, before loading the car, he decided to spend a few minutes seeing if he could figure out what was wrong. Justin was a miracle-worker indeed, managing to bypass parts of the system to jump-start the battery and get the engine running smoothly. He stayed with us to make sure all was in order. Eventually, instead of a tow, we drove back to Denver on our own, though with instructions to call Justin after we got over Berthoud Pass to assure him that all was fine. This was service of the best kind. It cost Justin and Alpine a tow job. But he put our interests first and obviously knew what he was doing. Five stars and two thumbs way up. Customer Service is Horrible. Lauren who answers the phone for Alpine Towing is a horrible person to work with. She gave false information on many occasion with no sense of remorse for lying to her customers. Its too bad because the techs were amazing and very professional. I would never recommend anyone to Alpine Towing because of my experience with the person they have answering the phone. Anyone with a -D rating through the Better Business Bureau explains a lot about what their customers mean to them. read more

My car battery was dead so AAA sent this company. They show up and get this tiny charger out to jump our SUV. I asked the guy if he was sure that little thing could do the job and he assured us, 'it does ten cars a day'. It didn't work. He said he could tow us if we couldn't figure it out. They picked up the POS Budget car and dropped off a Camry that got me where I needed to go. Was quoted 3-4 hours due to them working on an "emergency" (which is fine, I understand that) and then 8 hours later crickets. Called and she said she didn't think it was an emergency and would do it the next day. Now in the morning I called for an update and then she said she won't do it today either. My car isn't running and stuck an hour and a half away from me. It's been over 24 hours waiting for them to pick up my car. They give zero updates, i've had to call them for any sort of communication. She also said there's no way the driver would take my car to Denver from Winter Park. She did have time to move it to a parking lot but said she won't tow it to where the original request was... If that's too far then they should have said that yesterday and told AAA that as well so AAA can use a reliable company. If you need an actual tow, good luck and don't waste your time. The receptionist was extremely rude and told me she was "done with me". She was highly unprofessional towards anything , not apologetic about their mess up. Alpine towing was incredibly friendly and helpful. Had a radiator hose crack and lost all our coolant as we were leaving the YMCA campground to head back home 2.5 hours away. The whole Alpine crew showed up and helped us call around to try to find a parts store that had the part in stock. When nobody did they towed our car back to their shop and helped my husband figure out a temporary fix, letting us use their tools. They also helped transport our two kids and pulled out some toys for the kids to play with while we were stranded. We are so thankful for their kindness and generosity! read more
