He emailed me an estimate that was very good and said if I had further questions to let him know. I emailed him back with a question on the bid, and then emailed again because after he left the pipes started making terrible noises. I asked him if he had moved anything under the house. He did not reply (it was on a thursday that these emails were sent) By Sunday night I was totally freaked out and sent another email stating I had sent 2 prior and that I needed to know what he had done under the house.He emailed me back defensive on Monday and explained that it coudln't be his fault, it was water pressure. It was strange, but I responded with ok, how do we fix it? He did not reply again for 3 days. He then replied (and I have been without drains in my kitchen/laundry for over 2 weeks now) that he would not do the job. When I asked why he explain that he was offended by my accusations and that they have worked with other people before who were dishonest and would try to blame the plumber for other problems that may arise (basically saying I would do that) and that he was anxious and uncomfortable doing the work for me. I would gladly provide a transcript of these emails. I was shocked that I would be accused, yet be called the accuser. The owner apologized for the manager's lack of response but agreed that he not do the job. Well yeah, I agree too. It was a very hurtful and upsetting experience. Starting over.

We called Martins to get a quote on replacing some plumbing fixtures and supply lines in both bathrooms because the cheapest "PEX" fittings and plastic supply lines available had started to leak. The receptionist at Martins said that the guys there like to start early and asked if 7:00am would be too early for an estimate quote to be done. At 7:00am on the dot, Martins' guy, Mike, was ringing our doorbell. In less than an hour, Mike gave us a written estimate and was ready to leave. We decided to use Martins to do the work and called the next morning to schedule the work to be done. A few day later, again at 7:00am, one of Martins' plumbers named Cody was parked in our driveway. In just over two hours Cody completed the work and was ready to go to the next job. Cody could not have been better. He was professional, friendly, very clean and neat, and left the bathroom's cabinets and counter-tops in excellent condition. Best of all, no leaks! It was a cold day during Thanksgiving week, I had family staying from out of town and we had no heat. After a week plus, due to insurance red tape, I still didn't have heat, insurance said the unit could be repaired. I was recommended: Simply Service Company. Brian came out and fixed a minor part and had it running in no time for a relatively small price in comparison (I cancelled my Lee Company plan, garbage company). Second: I needed to have a mini split system unit moved and the condenser unit put on a pad, Brian came back out, assessed, gave me a price, and I agreed to have the work done. Again, I could not be more impressed with the work Brian did. It's very hard to get good, clean, professional work done these days. Simply Service and Brian do just that, time and again. Brian's attention to detail and work ethic is second to none.
