Nice relatively new breakfast/brunch place…read more ATMOSPHERE/ARCHITECTURE: 9/10 Pretty spacious interior setup seating 50-60 people with an open well lit layout. It makes for a nice Sunday brunch place for sure. SERVICE: 9/10 Staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Despite it always being quite packed, service is expeditious. FOOD: 9/10 Breakfast Potatoes - 10/10 - A small side of cubed potatoes fried breakfast style that is quite amazing. Their seasoning for it is absolutely spot on. Never had any other cubed potatoes quite as good as here. Sriracha Chicken and Waffles - 9/10 - Great fusion twist on the classic chicken and waffles from the southern comfort food menu. The presentation is quite beautiful and it tastes just as good. Spiciest of the sriracha sauce balanced by the sweetness of honey makes for a perfect combination. Chicken Fried Steak - 9/10 - Pretty standard fair deep fried steak battered chicken style. The sauce is done quite well. Very rich and creamy but not overpowering. VALUE: 8/10 Overall fair prices for what you get. PROBABILITY OF RETURN: 10/10 I already have multiple times. TO EAT OR NOT TO EAT: Eat! OVERALL: 9/10

The mac & cheese was also outstanding and it would match up with anything that I've ever ordered before. That is saying something because I have eaten a lot of Mac N Cheese! I did enjoy the red beans and rice because it is not a dish I get to eat often as it usually has pork in it but they had a non-pork variety and the owner threw in a sample for me! His version was not so much gravy but slightly more brothy and Very tasty and I really enjoyed the seasoning! We also ordered a small seafood gumbo and it also was tasty although I wish it had a bit more seafood but I understand that's an expensive product today. The wings were delicious while the fried fish was solid but not spectacular. The shrimp was cooked perfectly. We had ordered a lot of food because we wanted to taste a lot and we were not disappointed! It was definitely a bit on the pricier side but as a whole it was definitely a good choice to come to Pee Wee's! I dId want to add that the owner was incredibly generous, kind and talked to us extensively. It was really a nice touch particularly when he found out it was our first time coming. I love small businesses like this it was nice to be able to support their good work!!

We have eaten here several times. I was surprised I hadn't logged a review, but am happy to…read morecorrect that error on my part! This has a nice restaurant vibe - nice tables, tablecloths, art on the walls, good lighting, nice, quiet carpeted spaces. There is a lot to like. We made a reservation, were greeted at the door and then promptly seated. Water came out quickly, along with the menus and the wine list. The wine list was a bit light in that all the bottles were typically lower cost. With such a wide variety of food on the menu, it deserves a bit more depth and some better wines to be included. Not that the wines that were included were bad - they were not. They are just at the very low entry end of the market. Picking up a few from Justin, Stag's Leap, and others in the $80 range would help enhance the restaurant's list. We both ordered entrees, which came with the either soup or salad - we both elected to get salads, where I selected a Caesar and my wife had a standard salad. The Caesar had plenty of parmesan cheese and croutons. The dressing was a bit thin - traditional Caesar dressings are cream based, this one seemed to be light on the garlic and anchovies. No anchovies were available, so it's kind of a light "Caesar." The regular salad my wife had was good - she enjoyed it. For the main course, I ordered their Filet Mignon, medium rare with a baked potato. The server asked if I wanted butter and sour cream, which I did and which was provided. The filet is provided in a cabernet reduction. This may have been a bit much, it was hard to taste the filet with the reduction. The filet came with broccoli which was steamed and was nicely done. The baked potato was cooked through (as expected, and worked well with the butter and sour cream. My wife enjoyed her Shrimp and Grits - the shrimp was cooked quite nicely and seasoned well. We were concerned about the meal size, so we skipped an appetizer, and it was a good thing since she took half of her shrimp and grits home. We were not rushed out of our table, and had a good time.

Other than having to deal with a freight train that stopped on the tracks right as we were trying to get to the restaurant from the theater, and having to go way out to the west end of town to get around it, everything about our experience was superb! I'm pretty sure we were seated by the owner, who was amazing to talk to. You could tell she loved what she did and what they provide to their customers. She put us in the charge of the bartender, who brought our drinks, took our orders, and checked on us regularly throughout the meal, even though she was doing double duty. We had a large lunch, so we weren't going to eat much for dinner. As soon as I read the menu I realized I was going to have a hard time deciding, but I love cinnamon ice cream, so I knew I needed to leave enough room for dessert. I ended up ordering the grilled cheese, which came with bacon (hold the tomato), and the homemade chips as my side. Everything was delicious. I brought half of my meal home, and it was just as delicious when reheated with my air fryer a few days later. My husband had the Acres Pretzel, which was huge and yummy. (I had a bite to try it!) The cheese sauce with it was thinner than expected, but very good. We started out with a Manhattan for me and some Lena Brewing caramel pecan coffee stout for him. Mine was perfectly crafted, and I took a sip of his, which was also yummy. In addition to my cinnamon ice cream, we each had a dessert drink. He had the Chocolate Caramel Kiss, and I had the Banana Bread. Again, very yummy. The cost of all of this came to under $75, which we thought was marvelous. Coming out from the city, the prices here are definitely more reasonable and much appreciated! We have this restaurant on our radar now, so anytime we are out this way again, we will head there. We are already making plans to come out and see a show next summer, if not before that. To the owner and all the other staff, thanks for such a lovely experience! You have a wonderful establishment!

The entrance is a little hard to find as you have to walk thru a small boutique store to enter the restaurant. Fortunately for us,a nice lady who worked in the store came out and took us to the restaurant. My wife started with their Lemon Lavender Gin Spritz which was one of the many crafted cocktails they offer. I had a nice white wine blend that was suggested off their extensive wine list. We shared the Bruschetta Burrata with toast on the side as my wife is Gluten free. Super fresh and very tasty. They offer many made from scratch sandwiches and entrees along with a few daily specials A real hidden gem located in Rochelle on Lincoln Highway.
