This place is a scam. They charge a "deposit" claiming it's needed to "hold" the RV and it'll go towards the down payment. I specifically asked if it was refundable. So we bought a Jayco North Point camper from Dad's in Gulfport. We were very satisfied with the sales process but the service we received from the service technician Daniel was unbelievable! He went out of his way to help us when we had some problems the day we brought camper home. He exceeded any expectations by making sure we had a remote service call and diagnosis to get us out if a jam. We bought a brand new Jayco White Hawk in February of this year. It has been nothing but a pain. The 2nd day of having it the hot water heater wouldn't work. We had to pull it 45 miles back to Dad's for then to plug it in where it was overlooked. Since then we've pulled it to Crosby, Tx. to stay in while we work, which is what we bought it for. The air conditioner does not work. The one we paid Dad's $1500 cash to install in the bedroom doesn't work. I am a very cold natured person and I wake up sweating at night. We get home after 10 hours of construction work to a camper that's 90 something degrees. All they tell us is bring it in. We can't bring it in because we're 7 hours away and working 6 days a week 10 hours a day. Now, our outside fridge isn't working anymore. We didn't get our griddle we were supposed to get with it and haven't heard a word about when we might. I've emailed Jayco twice about this problem. NOTHING. I have videos of the ac shooting out water and ice on our living room floor. We will NEVER own another Jayco and will be getting rid of this one as soon as possible. And NEVER again will we use Dad's Camper Outlet. These places should really stand behind their products they take your money for. read more

Bought a 2021 camper. Took it home and a couple days putting everything inside we bought. While making the beds we got hot so we tried turning on the AC. Wouldn't come on. So I called because I'm a first time camper owner. I wasn't sure if I was doing it right. The guy on the phone from Dads camper tells me they don't make it like they use to it's probably broken. Well I called and talked to supervisor David. Tells me to bring it up it's probably something small. Oh no it's broken and he will have to call around tomorrow and see if he can locate the parts he needs to fix it. The guy on the phone knew there was a problem and they still sold me the camper. After losing everything we owned to a house fire and the insurance and bank delaying the rebuild of our house, we had no other choice but to buy a camper, renting was not feasible. A family of 7. I went to them and was told that they understand our problem and were there to help. They said they could send service people out to our location to if anything goes wrong. Week 1. No pee trap for the shower. Bathroom floods, took 3 weeks to fix. They sent someone out to our location. 3 months later the dryer goes out, during covid and almost no contract with anyone. Finally get a hold of someone in Sept. They refer us two other companies, because they can now not honor what they told us on the day they sold us this camper. These companies are even worst then they were. Now, I notice they have a location closer to me. Call to try to get help with the Camper we are still living in. They want me to drop off our temporary home, then say we can do off our dryer but they can't come to our location nor promise to fix anything. So for 9 months we haven't had a dryer. We paid extra for a dryer just not to have one. DON'T TRUST THIS COMPANY. THEY DO NOT HONOR THEIR WORD AND WILL TELL YOU ANYTHING FOR A SELL. Even after you lost everything, they will scam you out of what you have left. They are looking to make a buck rather then life time customers. Your name and word mean everything. My family and I bought a trailer from dads back in January and we needed a little service done. So I gave them a call, The service manager Karen remembered us and was willing to jump through hoops to help get us in and out while replacing our converter. Aaron was our technician this time and he was AMAZING! He was very informative and kept explaining things through to me and my husband. Ray the manager is also always so friendly. My older brother Timothy purchased a new camper from dads camper Outlet, they were very helpful in finding a camper that suited his needs. However, once he had made the sale and left the establishment he received a call from the finance team at dads camper Outlet claiming that an additional $4,000 be paid immediately. This was never brought up during any of the paperwork or in the agreed upon price. He was notified of this additional $4,000 after he had left the place with the camper paid in full. I have never seen a business operate like this and is just plain out wrong. So to anybody looking to buy a camper from here just make sure to have a few thousand extra laying around.. please do not give this place business I've never written a review before but I'm so angry that I actually want this business to be exposed to the fullest for the garbage they are trying to pull read more

We were so excited to trade our travel trailer in for a new one from a business that gave us exceptional service before, during and after the purchase. BUT, first, we walked the entire lot in Gulfport without one person asking to help us. So, we went inside and asked for Ray, who we bought from last time. Ray was gracious, took us back all over the lot looking for what we wanted. Great, right? No. On April 26th we began our journey to purchase a camper. I emailed Ray with a quick response and returned correspondence with no response, resending email and text. On May 18th I asked for someone else that could help me....yay, I got Jim, which took till May 23rd to reach out with his words, I dropped the ball and was sorry. After, again, not hearing back from emails with questions, I was beginning to think no one wanted our business. Reaching out again to Jim on 6/7 for answers....he responded on 6/8 that he was out of the office and would address it the following Monday. Guess what? Did not hear from him until I texted again on 6/14 with his reply he dropped the ball again..... Again? I was so disappointed in the service we 'did not get.' I purchased a 2019 Coachman in Dec. My wife and I were going thru 2 life changing events that I would never wish on anyone. I was in Gulf Port Ms, helping my mother deal with the loss of my little brother just days before. My wife was very ill and I needed a safe place for us to stay temporarily and I went to Dad's Camper in Gulf Port. The unit was bad from the beginning and they saw I was a new owner and in a tough situation and just Pounced on it. The unit has been leaking propane, water, faulty cable, faulty wiring and over all a bad unit. We tried to allow them to fix it and pd for it to go back. They made things worse. Forest River was kept in the loop and knew all along it was a bad unit. Its been over 6 months and still my wife is in a unit with no hot water, bad electrical and so much more, and Im in Iraq. What kind of company does this to people? I worry about her in the Coachman because of her health and nothing I can do 8000 miles away, but Dad's Camper, and Forest River.....
