They do the alignment and charge me 100 dollars right after they complete it on the spot without driving the car to confirm its good. So I pay and then I go and drive it, and the wheel is not straight whatsoever, i return and tell them the issue. They say to return the following week to correct it, this was on a wedneday and he said to come back on monday. Since he already had my money, he didnt care to correct it on the spot. I returned the following week to correct it since that was my only choice. It still was not straight. So i returned again and he says to give him $30 more dollars because the original $100 was not enough for the amount of work. I pay him, he does it for the third time, and once again its not straight. He then says my car has suspension issues and it cant be aligned. I couldnt do anything after that so i left. my second car. I had brought it in for an alignment, and the same exact thing. Did the alignment, then charged me before they confirm its good. I went back and forth 5 times spending 1-3 hours there every time. And they charged me every single time even thought the wheel was never straight. They said to buy this suspension part and come back, i had bought 3 different suspension parts and every single time was not straight. Eventually, on my 6th trip there for this second car, they do the same thing, align it, and then charge me without driving it. Keep in mind at this point I have spent probably 500 dollars on alignments and the wheel was never straight. It ended up with the same thing as car 1. saying the car is broken and it cant be aligned. I ended up taking both my cars to this other alignment shop right next door and on the very first time I went, the wheel was perfectly straight, and straight when you let go of the wheel. Both cars are driving like new again. There was never any broken suspension parts, they just coudnt align either of my cars. Never going back to lopez tires I will never trust these people with any of my cars ever again. They only care about taking your money. They dont care about fixing your car. Very expensive repair work. $$$$$$$…read more Was recommended by another shop who were unable to do repairs as the work was beyond their scope of expertise. I decided to have the repairs completed locally as opposed to taking the Benz to my regular mechanic in Newton, Massachusetts. Brought the car in for one repair estimate. There were recommendations for about 8 other needed/suggested repairs. Easily could have gone into a $10k repair bill. However, I opted out on a couple items which brought the repair bill to just under $5k. Nice enough employees, however it did take a week for the repairs to be completed. Totally understand that foreign cars are much more expensive to repair than domestic models. The positive side is that the repair work is guaranteed for 24 months with authentic parts specifically related to the automobile they are performing the repairs on. They use Benz parts for Benz repairs, BMW parts for BMW repairs, etc.
