On top of that he filed my nails completely down when I asked him to just soak the acrylic off because I was about to walk out with ugly nails plus an infection. The acrylic was stuck to my skin on the side of my nails ugh horrible experience. Didn't even let him cut my nails because he kept hurting me.

I was really happy that they had availability on the day of. The salon itself is beautiful and clean. The service at the front desk could be much better. The guy working there didn't look up from the computer while talking to me. He was more friendly when I was paying, but I still felt like his behavior earlier was a bit rude. They didn't have a lot of the gel colors that I usually go with. When I finally picked one from the swatch sticks they had out, they didn't have that color either. I picked another one and was told they didn't have the matching regular polish counterpart for it, so I had to quickly pick a similar color. I did a gel manicure with the spa pedicure. I'll start with the pedicure. The callus treatment was done with virtually no pressure. It was like my nail technician was simply going through the motions. She trimmed my cuticles a little bit, but didn't push them back at all, and did very minimal filing. The hot towel felt nice, but she left it on for a long time after it cooled down, so there was just a cold, wet towel sitting on my calves. The polish came out pretty streaky, and there are areas of my nails where it's not opaque at all. For my gel manicure, she didn't push back my cuticles either. The polish was applied far from my proximal nail fold on most of my nails, so they already look grown out. You can see in the pictures I've added. Also, the hand massage was less than a minute long. I was replying to some messages on my phone, so I saw the time when she started and when she ended the massage, and the time on my phone didn't even change by a minute. There's plenty of parking in the plaza. I was really looking forward to getting my nails done as a treat for finishing finals, and many of my friends had great things to say about M. Vince. Also, since this is a more high end salon, I was expecting my experience to reflect that, especially given the price. I'm sadly very disappointed with my visit. I hope that it was just a one-off thing, because I would love to have a great nail salon close by. But based on my experience, I am wary of returning.

However when I…read morewas 10 min late for my appointment on Fri, Sept 19, due to traffic congestion on Foothill Blvd, Lee rudely told me I had to wait due to my not calling her that I was delayed. I explained I was stuck in traffic and couldn't call. I waited for 20 minutes and then had my pedicure. They have in the past made me wait 20 minutes when they were running late, and I didn't push back. Recommend Lee communicate politely with customers, and understand traffic and cell phones don't work!

Andy was terrific, funny and patient with me as I changed my mind several times. I delegated the design decision to my friend and she dutifully got to work scrolling Instagram to find just the right thing. I love where we landed-with a yellow, black & white design with a sunflower. Andy didn't flinch when we showed him the picture-he got right to work. The ambience is a little bland-no art on the walls, no real decor to be spoken of. But the service was friendly and welcoming and I'm happy with the end result.
