I was shopping at the local Walmart when an overpowering smoke-type smell was noticed. I asked the employees and a supervisor (named Carla) and was told the smell is the incense that Davi Nails was burning. The smell triggered a major asthma attack. How can ANY business engage in a practice that places the health of the general public at risk? For individuals with breathing problems and/or asthma, the smell of incense can be life endangering! Fortunately I only lived a mile away and was able to get to my inhaler. Otherwise, I would be sitting in the ER right now. I have filed a complaint with Walmart and have subsequently filed with BBB. I do not understand how this nail salon can be allowed to engage in such a practice! If you are going to do something like this, you should be in an enclosed building, not in a public place where everyone is exposed! read more

Joe did a good job, but complained that my previous nail technician did a lousy job, and he had been doing nails for 30 years, so he knew what he was talking about. Just do my nails, please. I'll be the judge of how good they are. read more

joe and rachel are long long gone and the most recent owners henry and linda quite literally up and disappeared i owned a spa for many years so i know the laws in each state they are pretty much the same now there are unknown very young men running it and i do not believe walmart is keeping track of what is going on henry and linda ran the nail salon as it should be each tech had a liscense displayed at there desk and a state license posted on the wall now no licenses what so ever - and the young men injured one of my fingers badly i am reporting them to the state read more

I love going to Da-Vi, it's convienent and the people are great. However, the last two times the older man did my pedi, today he cut me twice. The first time he did my nails (no polish) he charge me $30 today it was $40, same service and no polish. When/if I go back, I will never have ths guy touch my feet again. I called and made an appointment and got there and they couldn't take us so I went shopping and went back when they said to come back and again the man looked at us as if we're crazy. He asked come back in 15-20 mins again and he was totally rude about it. Told him we made an appointment and he shrugged his shoulders like, "so oh well what do you want me to do"? Don't make appointments then be money hungry to accept all ppl that walk up. Appointment times should be accommodated and I get that some things come up but twice and with a bad attitude. While visiting my mom in Prescott we wanted to get pedicures and she just moved here a few months ago and hasn't found a spot, while browsing yelp I came across this place I thought eh a nail salon inside Walmart I don't know. But we tried and and everyone was very nice and there was no one here it's Christmas Eve. We got the deluxe pedicure and it was worth the 35$ nice massage and the girls who did our pedicures were very nice. read more

I have tried a lot of nail salons in the last few years, and i kept returning to this one. I have had acrylics done at other places- never here till a couple weeks ago. I had a full set done by Rachel. She did an Excellent Job! My nails look Beautiful! Prices are Fair here. Not so with some other salons in the area. I have had multiple compliments from other people. I went to the Da-Vi Nails In Walmart on Rt 69.The woman that did my pedicure was quiet and I wasn't feeling well, so I sat back to relax while she went about her work. I thought it odd that she wore lose fitting latex gloves, but thought she might be allergic to the chemicals or something. I could see that she was getting polish on my cuticles and could feel it as well. The polish was navy blue, so there was no missing it. She used a brush dipped in remover to make corrections and I realized later that she got polish on my sandals doing this, oh yes, she had me put on my sandals before polishing my nails. She did an okay job filing my nails on my left foot, but my right foot looked worse than when I do them. Okay, bottom line, it was crowded, I didn't want to make a scene nor hurt her feelings, so I went back, spoke to the owner and he said he would not redo the pedicure, only the polish for $15.00! They lost a client. Go to the one on Gail Gardner... they are fabulous! read more

This is the only place I go for pedicures! Joe and his family are great. Good conversation, relaxing atmosphere, and beautiful end product!

They actually usually do a very good job on nails. I'm giving 2 stars due to very poor customer service. I used to go to them regularly for acrylics and all my fill-ins. I thought that being located inside Walmart was convenient. So, one day I arrive about 5 minutes early for my scheduled lunch time appt. I was on my lunch break from work. As I'm walking up to the counter, another woman gets to the counter first. Then I sign in. I can see from the sign in sheet that she did not have an appointment. So, after waiting 25 minutes past my appointment time, a man tells me it won't be much longer. But of course, I have to wait another 10 or so. When I finally get my turn, I complain to the lady that's doing my nails that my appointment was for 40 minutes ago, and that I'm afraid I'm going to be late getting back to work. She tells me we'll be done in time. She did not do as good of job as they usually do, as she was rushing to try and get me back to work on time. And she basically told me it's all my fault. She explained that I shouldn't schedule nail appointments on my lunch break, that I should do so on Saturdays, when there's no hurry. My thinking is that they shouldn't take a walk-in 5 minutes before someone has an actual appointment. The walk-in should have been told that there would be a wait, as there is someone scheduled for that time. Anyway, she had a crappy attitude, acting as if it's my fault. I would never go there again. I figure that's what I get when I get my nails done at Walmart... read more

Best gel nails in town as well as the most welcoming salon I've been to since I moved here from Florida. Their entire family is so talented as well as sincere. My experience with Da Vi Nails was terriable. I went for a pedicure and ended up with a Nail fungus on both my big toes. Since there was polish on them, the fungus had 4 weeks to spread. I ended up with both nails on my big toe falling off. When I spoke to Joe I was told, "When you get better come in and I will give you a free pedicure. Really? That's the last thing I want, I only have 8 toe nails left. I wouldn't recommend this business to anyone!!! read more

I got a dipping powder manicure. The price was outrageous and the quality was the worst I have had in 10 years of getting gel or dipping powder manicures. It looked like I had attempted to do the job myself. They have limited colors. My nails started chipping almost immediately. I sat behind the owner who was doing someone else's nails and had to listen to him talk nonstop about how great his salon was compared to the others in the area. Be aware, this is a very small salon. It does not feel clean. The worker's smocks are dirty. It is in the Walmart shopping center so you will have to deal with the parking associated with that. They do not take same day appointments but you can walk in. read more

Some how I never seem to get charged the posted amount for my manicure or pedicure! I was charged almost twice the posted rate for my pedicure even though I only got the basic pedicure, no sugar scrub, no gel polish, no nail art. Just a basic pedicure! I was in a hurry as always and they were running a little late as always so I paid and left. When I was driving away I started thinking that seemed to be a lot of money for a basic pedicure, so I went online to double check their prices. Sure enough.....way over charged. I really live Da-Vi Nails but I got my 2nd fill and 1 day after the nail lifted up and was about to come off the only way to make this not happen in to put a bandaid over it so it stays in place. Also I asked for coffee nails and she said your nails are to long to do coffee so I said can you cut them shorter so you can do it and when she cut it shorter she said my nails are to short to do it. And last time I went she put the nails under a black light flashlight and after there were dents in the nails polish. read more

I am shocked at all of the positive reviews on this salon. I almost walked out because the guy who was doing my manicure, Joe, had a very dirty white coat on and I had no evidence that the tools he put down on the table had been sterilized. All of the polish bottles looked horrible and the sink was dirty. Came home and had such a terrible itching on my hand that I scratched until I broke the skin. Will not go back. I've used Davi Nails off and on for a couple of years for pedicures, but it hadn't been a regular part of my beauty routine. I recently tried gel polish manicures, but at salons in Phoenix and Prescott Valley. I did not have good experiences until Davi Nails, but I just had my second manicure at Davi Nails, and it was by far the best service. Joe does a wonderful job. My nails came out better than I thought possible. I will not use any other salon moving forward. read more

I got my nails done on Saturday with gel and they are already starting to peel. Worst French tip manicure I have ever had.

I went in for a set of gels. I had never gotten them before and wanted to try them. I walked in with no wait. I was not disappointed. I don't get my nails done often, it is a splurge for me and I have been there before, years ago and haven't had a complaint. I will continue to go there in the future. read more
