My husband & I loved our lunch so much at Da Rita e Antonio we decided we had to come back again before leaving Milan! The only restaurant we visited twice during our Italy trip & we already miss it so much! We came during both lunch and dinner. Both times were really great! Hubby loved the Costoletta alla Milanese (Veal Cutlet) so much that he ordered it both times we dined here. I loved their Gnocchi Bolognese (seasoned so perfectly and the best gnocchi I've ever had!), but I also wanted to try their Ossobucco (Pig's Foot) with Risotto. Both were really good, but the Ossobucco is on the heavier side & can be shared, just FYI. Always got their House Red and asked for olive oil & balsamic for the bread...so delicious! And last, but not least their Panna Cotta was so good! =') I would be a regular here if I lived in Milan! Excellent service, great food and atmosphere. read more

Takes a lot to impress me especially with pizza but this place is great!! The pizza was extra special and I'd love to order the pappardelle mushroom pasta with the cream sauce. Those were the highlights of the dinner. My mom raved about her seafood pasta. She highly recommends that option as well. Con: super pricey, for 5 plates and 5 slices of pizza, and 2 beer our bill was 120 euro. $15 euro for table setup included in the bill!! read more

I think every American travelling to Italy dreams of stumbling on a small, unassuming restaurant and having the best meal (this cannot be just me). Well I found that place for you- Da Rita e Antonio!! I came here with a coworker for lunch after she raved about it and we weren't able to go the day before (they were closed). I ordered the Tagliatelle Bolognese and she ordered the Tagliatelle with Pomodoro. Both pasta dishes were made fresh and tasted amazing! A super yummy amazing quaint restaurant. Some of the best Pasta if not the best I've ever had. This was our first dinner in Milan. Bread and oil were yum to start, then my husband and I both ordered pasta he got ravioli with Ham, I got the pasta with bolognese and it was delicious. You won't be disappointed here. On a Sunday evening we tried to get in to several places for dinner in Milan, and were sent away because we didn't have reservations. I was a bit reluctant since this place was able to seat us right away, but my reluctance was misplaced. The restaurant is actually quite large, and had a lot of guests enjoying meals already. I ordered the ravioli, and it was heaven. My husband ordered the gnocchi and enjoyed it. Our three year old, being fickle, only wanted pineapple, and they brought him a beautiful plate of fresh, delicious pineapple. For the three of us we got out of there for around 50 euros.
