Side salad

I think other menu items were probably good, but I went for poke nachos and i didn't think the fish was great. Seemed like it was just previously frozen that you could get anywhere on the mainland. That being said, my side salad was really fresh and yummy

Fried fish tacos

Such a cute place in the whalers village. I love how it's kind of like a permanent food truck. I got the fried fish tacos and this was the best decision I ever made in my whole life. Some how they were better than the $25 fish tacos I got at some other place. The fish was so crispy. The sauce was delicious. I loved the wrap as well - it's not a traditional flour tortilla, but it really suits the taco. Super fast service as well. Please try this place.!!

Seared Ahi tuna with the wasabi mayo is solid. The Jasmine rice is an interesting choice, but no need with the bed of cabbage.

Chicken sliders. Coleslaw. Curly fries. Pepsi. Aloha vibes

This place is nestled inside the Whaler's Village and has such a nice atmosphere! We got here kinda late about 20 minutes before closed and could only order from the fryer but we were not disappointed! The chicken sliders tasted amazing and their special sauce was such a good touch with the curly fries! So glad we were able to squeeze in a meal at Da Nani Pirates on our last night in Ka'anapali!

a food truck with a menu on it

My family and I stopped at this food truck on two occassions, once for lunch and another day for dinner. I had the pork sliders which come with a side of curly seasoned fries. The entire meal was delicious!! Other members of my family had a salad with chicken on top and fish tacos. There were no complaints. When we went for dinner I ordered the shoyu chicken wrap. Unfortunately, I wasn't the biggest fan of the wrap. There was mostly mixed greens in it and a very few small pieces of chicken. The wrap almost seemed soggy because it was mostly greens in it. It came with rice and macaroni salad. Nothing super flavorful but not bad. I ordered a side of onion rings which were yummy. The service is quick and friendly and I highly recommend giving them a try. They are conveniently located in front of the ABC Store in Whalers Village.

My poor little thin dry strips of mahi mahi... very dry. Catch of the Day lunch plate

We got the lunch plates that come with a side of white rice and Mac salad. Catch of the day which was mahi mahi and pulled pork. My husband said he would give it 2/5 stars but I give it 3/5 stars because they didn't mess up the rice! Some places you can mess it up. The food is also filling... which is a plus for me. He wished his pulled pork was more salty... which I agreed. My mahi mahi was dried up and it was 4 small pieces. The Mac salad was just ok... Overall, the prices are good and the portion is generous enough. Give it a try if you are tired of the other locations that charge $88 for a pre fixed breakfast *hint hint: Waicoco*

Pulled Pork Tacos

Cute food truck which is a total bonus at Whaler's Village. Glad I finally got to try. Regular food was on point! Keiki menu to me isn't worth it though. They're better off trying out food from the regular menu because the food is way tastier! Plus if they don't finish and you have to assist, you'll be happier with the choices. Seared ahi tacos, pulled pork tacos, and fish tacos were ALL yummy! Even though it's only 3 tacos with no sides on a plate for $15.95, they were oddly filling but super tasty! - I did however order sliders, but when I opened my plate after we left, it was NOT sliders. But all good, my tacos were delicious. We did go during a late lunch (2/230pm), second "group" to order and it was about a 20 minute wait. Not too bad of a wait, I think it was worth it. But it's hot and people are getting hangry! Nowhere to really enjoy your food, some mall seating, otherwise you can enjoy on the beach or in your car.

The menu.

We ordered the Shoyu Chicken and the Catch of the Day. Both came with a large portion of meat on a bed of lightly seasoned cabbage slaw, alongside a scoop of plain white rice and a scoop of (super yummy!) macaroni salad. No hours posted yet, but there were signs up for "Help Wanted" and "Find Out Your Pirate Name". Lol! Ordering was quick, and a slight wait for food. Glad to have stumbled upon this place tonight since all the other restaurants in the area were no longer taking walk-in's. Not sure if they offer Validation for the parking lot. If not, it'll cost you $6 to park (at least it did for us on a Sunday night).

Great service. Quick and tasty. Just hit the spot after landing. Definitely will come again and again.

Looking for some good Hawaiian food
Wendell R.

We found this cool Hawaiian food truck in an outdoor mall in Ka'anapali so we decided to give it a try. Food came out pretty fast so the wait time was minimum. The pulled pork I ordered was delusions, not dry and seasoned well. I also had some Hawaiian macaroni was yummy they just didn't give me enough like two Tablespoon scoops. I guess if you considered it a lunch plate it was ok. I was starving so for me it was a dinner plate. Anyway...it was our first taste of Hawaiian food. Not a bad start to the vacation.

IMHO My husband was…read morecraving Crispy Pata, and we knew just where to order from! From our resort villa, we online ordered a large Crispy Pata, $46, and was told it would be ready in 20 minutes! Our Crispy Pata and a box of rice and dipping sauces were ready and waiting for us! It was delicious; fatty, crunchy, and full of flavor! This Crispy Pata lasted us quite a few meals, which we added to saimin, or rice. If you want great local Filipino/Asian fare, come to Joey's Kitchen in Napili. I am sorry that we missed the opening of their new restaurant, Dang Dang Noodles, by a few days. Next visit!

We have been by this and the Lahaina location do many times but never had the time to try it. My…read morewife really wanted to try their crispy patta so I agreed to go try it. While I adore and often cook a lot of Asian food I'm not such a fan of Filipino food yet around it more than any other food with family. Bad choice. After driving there from Lahaina for lunch, this dish was unavailable?? Even yelpers rave about it! So we ordered the pork belly and wanted chow fun but they only have the chicken variety? So there is a reason why the Asian restaurants we usually dine at make beef chow fun. The chicken version was bland and wanting for something else to complete it! But surely edible and nicely cooked noodles. The pork belly was ok but not slap your momma I'll go back for that good. The Mac salad was awful compared to much more affordable plate lunch places. It was flavorless, overcooked pasta, and a gritty texture! Weirdly the chairs there at the tables are low and you feel like you are at the children's table at Thanksgiving. So much so that us and two other groups including the ones that moved after ordering to our vacated table moved from the regular tables to the ones at the window with a bench on one side. We had fun joking with our replacements about that! So for the most part here it appears to be tourist clientele and not many Filipinos but my wife. I think that these exceptionally high prices for basic dishes and burgers (she asked why would people go to a Filipino restaurant and order a burger) are why not many locals eat here. And frankly most aunties make better Filipino food better at home. Glad we tried but not again. Checked off of our try try list. They didn't even have a signature dish available that we went particularly to get.
