Maybe it was the ambience, and maybe it was the wine, but I really enjoyed this place.
The entranceway is an Archway covered with vines, and the initial dining area floor is gravel, but it all ends a little something to the ambiance and experience.
The waiters have been there forever, and they interact like they've been there forever. You know sometimes when you go to a steakhouse and the Waiters know more about the menu than you do and they know more about how you like to eat steak then you do, that you found a place where the waiters enjoy what they do.
Additionally, they have an antipasto self-service bar that had all varieties of spiced and pickled vegetables as well as non pickled vegetables and tomatoes were excellent.
Lastly, I had a fruit bowl to die for, which I find difficult to match. If I'm ever back in Milan I will go again.
Why not a 5? Well the staff was busy, and as it got busier, and since I was dining alone, I became more of an afterthought, and I had to wait for service in the last part of the meal.
