Popped in here for breakfast while home visiting family last weekend on a Saturday morning... Its been an age since I've been around here and hadn't tried d9 before but the locals all seem to use it for hangover food.
The cafe is small in size and was quiet despite it being early on a Saturday, there were a handful of older couples and some of the girls working in the supervalue next door on their lunchbreaks. Staff were super friendly and seemed to know their local customers which made the place feel really homely.
We ordered full Irish breakfasts which were really tasty and came out in good time but I felt the lack of attention to detail really let the place down... Some of the mugs and plates were chipped and many were mismatching in design or colour which just let down the presentation and feeling of attention to the little things! read more
