Who can really say they had great experience having dental work done? After visiting North Suburban…read moreOral Surgery, I can say I have. I visited for an extraction and Dr. Figueroa and his team were so attentive and patient. They took the time to explain exactly what would happen, the risks, and answer all of my questions. I felt well cared for and comfortable. I expressed my dental anxiety to Dr. Figueroa and he was compassionate and offered assistance by way of laughing gas for my extraction. The extraction couldn't have gone better. Dr. Figueroa talked his was through the procedure, which was helpful. They have a cozy little recovery room for post-op and then you're on your way. Can't speak highly enough about this team and my experience.

I was numbed and literally felt nothing. Soon, the tooth was out, some bone put in and stitches applied. Lauren assisted and she was helpful in distracting me ahead of time and making me laugh. Again, Dr. Nick explained what to expect in the next few weeks and what I needed to do post-surgery. He prescribed antibiotics and some Ibuprofen. I had little if any discomfort. I did take a few Tylenols after the Ibuprofen was depleted. I still have to follow up with a post being put in and a possible sinus lift, but I will not spend any time worrying about it. I have a dental/dentist trust Issue ever since. From trying to give you different advice or…read moreprocedure for my teeth down to it depends on my dental insurance. I went to different dental clinics in Chicagoland but to no avail. Until I Came across Dr. SAM thru Facebook. I don't know if I will trust Facebook's recommendation, but I know that I trust Prime Dental with Dr. SAM's page. I decided to visit her clinic, which was the last time I looked for another dental office. I fall for her at the very beginning with her experience & expertise. Nice ambiance clinic. PLUS, the staff will treat you like a family. THAT'S all we need to trust again with the right Dental doctor.

This provider dismissed my entire family from its practice after misfiling then in-network…read moreinsurance for what is normally a covered dental implant procedure. (Boy, was that fast: as soon as their insurance error was reported!) But, no, the provider doesn't have to confirm that it banned my family. I do based on two separate phone calls, spaced weeks apart, where the front desk said that, ugh, the entire fam was dissed. And for what felt like an eternity -- the same feeling I got over the amount of time I was pitched during my first meet here -- it was uncertain whether this practice's implants were properly placed, since the provider refused to evaluate their own work. Nor will it ever be known whether billing practices improved due to its refusal to take on an olive branch offer of a minor procedure. Friendly this office was and is not in trying to get either of the above to occur. So, similar to "Jay B's" utterly genuine July 4 Yelp review (okay, right, "interesting" in a Tilly-Norwood-is-too sort of way), for ages, this practice made me feel like I had to live for years with pain and fear, never believing I could eat Barnaby's excellent tavern style pizza again...without making a huge mess. (Gotta love its cornicione!) Or eating one of EATACO's massive corn shell tacos. Those are impossible to bite into without good implants. But Greektown's Ithaki Estiatorio, where forks and knives are needed and the saganaki of which is unlike the competition's, may still be had. So here's to fine dining and finding silver linings somewhere? This provider was a living nightmare. And this is an _honest, human_ review!
