Dr. Sisto extracted some teeth for our 10 yr old son. Our son at age 7 had a accident involving his 2 front (adult) teeth when they came out of his mouth. The accident and all of the subsequent follow up appointments and even regular dental appointments have been traumatic. Dr. Sisto treated our son with such compassion and excellent care that our son was put at ease and our son felt relaxed. The staff in the office was friendly and professional. Dr Sisto did a molar extraction and bone graft. He would not put me to sleep. I should have left then. Was the most excruciating pain I have ever experienced. I was groaning, thrashing, crying and sweating profusely. He wouldn't stop. I am literally traumatized. Wish I'd chosen DiFranco instead. Would have been a completely different experience. The staff are wonderful but cannot make up for Dr SISTO'S rough, poor, consistent painful treatment of me. read more

1I dont know what Dr. these other reviewers saw, maybe they were his regular patients? I was given a few names from my wonderful dentist, so I chose Dr Sisto since he was the closest and 5 star reviews. Take heed of the negative ones. My experience was the worst. Took a couple months to get an appointment, some lame excuse that " school was out". The "consultation" took 5 minutes, which included the dr coming in, no hello, just jammed his fingers in my mouth and told the nurse to get xrays. Popped in after xrays "gotta pull the teeth". No rundown, no explanation. Just walked out. Nurse came in with papers to sign and was whisked out to make another appt. a good month out. ​​​​Day of surgery was horrendous. while drawing blood, the rubber cap came off one of the vials, he dropped one of them, yes, srill used them. One of the 3 extractions (only expected 2) he was pulling so hard, I was coming out of the chair. I had to hold on so I didnt fall out. He was also yanking vigorously side to side my brain was rattling. Once done, shoved a bunch of gauze in my mouth and walked out, on to the next patient. No recovery time t gather my wits, etc. Nurse gave me care instructions and told me to make appt to check stitches. When i saw him then, I asked why he pulled 3 and not 2, he said I had an abscess. Umm, antibiorics? He dismissed me and said it would just come back, and you signed the papers. sWhen it came time to ​remove the stitches, no hello again, just started at my mouth. No numbing the area, just painfully ripped out stitches. Wow. He has such a heavy hand. Shoved more gauze in my mouth as I was bleeding pretty good, and told to make an appointment for implants. I would not recommend this oral surgeon's office. They seem more concerned about the bottom line and the finances that they do about patient care. You can't even have access to your own medical records without paying a fee. Look elsewhere. read more

Was looking for an oral surgeon for my daughter and saw this doctor on Yelp with good reviews and the office was part of my insurance network so I decided to give them a call. They scheduled me right away for a consultation and scheduled the surgery for my daughters wisdom teeth surgery the following week after the consultation. Very nice staff, and knowledgeable and experienced doctor. The surgery was quick and everything went smoothly and my daughter had little to no pain afterwards. I'm glad I decided on his place after going to several other places. I recommend Dr. Sisto for your oral surgery needs. read more

This is my second time coming to Dr. Sisto, and I have yet to be disappointed. The first time I came here was to have my lower wisdom teeth removed. The teeth had yet to surface, so their removal would require drilling. I expected the drilling to leave me in long periods of pain and discomfort, but everything went smoothly- only a little soreness and it passed quickly. Today I came back for a consultation for the removal of my upper wisdom teeth. I told Dr. Sisto I wanted to be asleep for this procedure as I was asleep for my first procedure. Though other doctors may have remained silent hearing a patient requesting a more expensive procedure than necessary, Dr. Sisto recommended I go for the less expensive option of local anesthesia and went on to explain how this procedure would be less complicated and wouldn't require full sedation like my last procedure. Dr. Sisto's quality work convinced me to come back a second time, and his honesty will keep me coming back. read more

SISTO KID AIN'T NO FRIEND OF MINE! In late January 2013 I started having pangs in 2 lower rear molars. My dentist had deadened the nerve of one 2 years ago, but due to my cancer diagnosis and treatments (surgery and later radiation) I couldn't have the tooth/teeth removed at that time. I searched Oral Surgeons that my dentist recommended and none could take me within 3weeks (a long time to go with tooth pain 5 of every 7 days, don't you think?). So another dentist I know mentioned Dr. Sisto. When I called for the soonest appointment I asked how soon he could do the extractions and was told "It depends on how involved it will be". There was a cancellation 2 days later so I went for a consultation, and asked the receptionist, office manager and nurse approximately how soon could I fit into the schedule, as I couldn't wait 3 weeks at the other surgeons (Feb. 22). They were all tight-lipped, saying that "The doctor would determine that". I told him at the start of the exam how preposterous the other doc's were, expecting me to wait 3 weeks. He did a 5 minute exam and said "Schedule him for an hour-and-a-half". I then went and had to pay the $107 fee BEFORE thay gave me an appointment for MARCH 23...7 WEEKS away!!! I said "He can't do it sooner? I made it clear I came here because I couldn't wait 3 weeks, and now you're telling me I have to wait 7 WEEKS?". They replied "The doctor is having shoulder surgery next week, and will be off 6 weeks while it heals". (I went to another surgeon, Dr. Loesser, and had the teeth pulled 2 days later for about $400 less than Sisto's quote!!! Thank God for Dr. Loesser!) Having paid by debit card I couldn't appeal like one can with a credit card, so I phoned the doctor's office and asked for a refund, due to their combined withholding of that information, which was deception as far as I'm concerned. They said they'd have to talk to the doctor. I waited a month for my bank statement, yet found no credit to my account so I phoned again, this time threatening Small Claims Court. They said that the doctor refuses to refund, so go ahead and sue. Because he is a "corporation" I couldn't garnish his wages if I won the suit, so this review is my only recourse. I can't attest to his skill as a surgeon, but as to his measure as a man....I find him to be UNETHICAL! read more
