But I finally found it, and am I glad I did! After many a blisters from too many a use of the rental skates at the Ice Cube, I decided to take the plunge and purchase my own skates. The staff at Hockey World were great! I know nothing about skates, what to look for, how to care for them. The salesperson was patient, answered my questions, helped me lace my skates. They were able to bake them right there and sharpened the blades before I left. I can't wait to try them out, and when I'm ready to upgrade my skates, I'm definitely coming back to Hockey World.

I decided to check out this Dunham's location to see what kind of bowling equipment they might have. Upon entering the store, you feel sort of overwhelmed and that feeling doesn't go away anytime soon. It's like there was no thought to the layout of the interior and it's merchandise. I really think they crammed way too much stock into the floor space they had available when the store was built. I asked one of the store workers where the bowling equipment was at, and he told me it's over by the fishing gear. So after looking around the store for 15 minutes, I asked another worker where the bowling section was, and she told me that they don't carry bowling equipment in their store, but if I wanted to checkout the Web site, I could find what I wanted online. Apparently, the workers have no idea what they have inside their own store when it comes to merchandise. Now if your looking for a great deal on University of Michigan swag and shirts they have it. Sadly, there's a small Michigan State athletic wear section just behind it. In all honesty the prices aren't bad at all. With that being said, they had only one cashier on duty, and several people standing in line. Customer service is clearly a low priority at this store location.
