We went to the Dvine Bistro for FatThursday! The Gumbo was Perfect flavor and spice I sampled a small bowl, ordered a 1/2 Caesars salad ... WoW Deeelicious! And my Italian GF said its the best shes had in a long time. My husband ordered the Full Caesar Salad with a side of grilled chicken enough to share with 3 people but he ate it all happily. I also ordered cheese Ravioli in mushroom marsala .. it was also very good although the sauce was a bit sweet. ‍. My company at the table ordered Beef Bolognese with pasta a good portion and the Shrimp Tacos also very satisfying as well do you see a pattern? Everything exceeded our expectations +! One thing I did noticed is a chalk board with specials , drinks and events on it beings it was our first visit we were unaware but noticed a lot of people standing in front of our table reading it. Nice little place. Must be new as they have a few kinks to work out. The service is very friendly. It is good sometimes and other times a bit in the weeds. The food is good and the portions are big. We ordered chicken penne special 3.5/5, orzo with salmon. Dip trio Kalmata olive 5/5, caramelized onion 2/5, and eggplant herb 3.5/5. Kingston is very lucky to have such an amazing establishment in its little downtown area. Incredibly friendly and warm, this is the place to go for a quiet glass of wine, celebration dinner, or just to relax on a weekend evening listening to live music with a drink. Ben and Selene always provide top notch service, happy to discuss wine options, offer a craft cocktail and even make up something out of the box when requested. I often request classic bar cocktails and they're always game to throw it together for me. Everything the kitchen puts out looks beautiful and I've yet to try anything I didn't thoroughly enjoy. Weekly events and rotating specials make every visit a new experience. The owners are usually present, often working the bar or floor themselves but always friendly and quick with an enthusiastic hello. They've done a great job creating an inviting space well worth making it a point to visit. read more

However, they were only offering part of their menu, so the available food options were quite limited. I first became concerned when I noted that the butter for the bread was grainy and congealed, like it hadn't been kept at a proper holding temperature. It's February, snowy and cold, and I was looking for a place to warm up, have a glass of wine, learn about the town...walking down the quaint two block main street of downtown Kingston I stopped in at d'Vine Bistro because the warm light inside invited me in. What a good choice. Welcomed by Morgan, the bartender (and bourbon aficionado), I sat at the bar and had a great Prosecco and even better conversation with her and the friendly staff. This place is a classic spot to tuck in to. Its brick walls, warm wood and focused subtle lighting are just right for that private wining dining feel and yet I can see how, when they bring in a guitar player to set the mood on the weekends, it must be pretty chill. I've joined their wine club, will watch for their whiskey tasting events and come back to try their menu next time I'm in town. A lot going on from this neat spot.... read more

Quaint spot with a relaxing atmosphere, quality wines and well executed dishes. Stopped in D'Vine for the first time tonight and was impressed. It has earned the rank of my favorite restaurant in Kingston. The two wines I tried were both excellent and the food was tasty with great presentation. Visited here on our way to the Clearwater Casino for a concert on Friday night and was so impressed that we timed the ferry line on Saturday so we would have time to stop back in for a glass of Rush Lattin wine and some appetizers. Wonderful service from wait staff and the owner Micki was busy but took time to make us feel special. I'm also hearing that there has been a remodel since we have been there. We were visiting Kingston from the ferry and decided to stop by d'Vine Wines. It is near the terminal if you are walking and just the perfect place to stop by for a drink or food. The weather was nice, so we sat out on the patio. We had our dog Barney with us and they are very dog friendly, with water bowls for the dogs. They have a really great and wide-ranging wine collection. I had a couple of glasses of red that were recommended and they were wonderful. We also had some food that was very nice. We had the flatbread with Italian sausage that was excellent--the crust was perfect with good mix of toppings. We also had the hummus plate that was just right to drink with the wine. We will definitely be back next time we ride the ferry. read more

My friend and I ate at d'Vine Bistro last night, which was OK but nothing special. The 2 waitresses seemed harried; perhaps they're understaffed like so many other restaurants nowadays. My friend's water glass was dirty with a chunk of something or other on the rim and some smears, so she needed a replacement, which took a while. She ordered the risotto primavera, which looked and tasted unremarkable. I got the lemon & roasted cauliflower pasta, which sounded amazing but didn't live up to its promise. The pasta was drowned in a soupy goat cheese sauce, which overpowered all the other flavors. It could have been so much better if done in a sort of gremolata style instead of being oversauced. I'm actually tempted to look up some recipes online to see how I could improve on this dish at home! read more

very underwhelming caesar salad with lettuce, parmesan with chicken on the side. definition of a good caesar salad: romaine lettuce and croutons dressed with lemon juice (or lime juice), olive oil, eggs, Worcestershire sauce, anchovies, garlic, Dijon mustard, Parmesan and black pepper. my salad had lettuce, bland dressing, and parmesan with dry chicken on the side--for the price, absolutely disappointing. my sister had an awesome lamb burger, however. and, it was fun to try a new place with a nice atmosphere. unless you upgrade that caesar, i won't be ordering that! read more

Washington has some of the best food I've ever eaten. D'Vine wines is at the top of the list! If visiting Kingston it's an absolute must. An absolute must is the crab stuffed mushrooms. I dream of them. Creamy with the perfect mix of fresh herbs and crab. Divine! Also, every wine that was recommended was really good. As a native California that frequents Napa, I am spoiled with great wines. And the wines we had at D'Vine did not disappoint! Ask for recommendations! Highly recommend. Such a great variety of wines and beer! I got to two wine flights, which was only $15 each for 3 wines and they were big pours! So many wine options to choose from white, red, rose, and bubbly. They also have beers on tap too. The only reason they didn't get a 5/5 is because the food was good but nothing to be in awe about. I feel like I was faded to miss the 3 o'clock ferry, and for that I stopped by d'Vine Wines, and met a sweet angel named Micki. I had a small sip of rose, and bought a bottle of their in house red blend: Miss Em. A mixture of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Malbec. They say hidden gems are hard to find, but d'Vine Wines is literally 50 feet from the Kingston ferry. Check this place out, you won't regret. read more

I had high hopes. Went one time and enjoyed a glass of wine. Asked my daughter to meet me after work another night. She arrived ahead of me. Ordered a glass of wine at a table. She's 22. The waitress/bartender ( not sure if this was the owner) took her order and proceeded to chat with someone at the bar for a bit. Then a couple came in. Obviously a regular customer. The bartender offered them some options and proceeded to serve them.. My daughter was still waiting. Only 3 people in the bar. My daughter waited. Went to the bar to see if her wine had been poured. No indication nor eye contact from the bartender. She texted me to let me know she was still waiting and I told her she should leave. When I arrived from the ferry I stopped at the bar to see if my daughter had left. I believe the same 3 people were there. I looked for the bartender to ask her and she was on her phone in the back. My daughter had left. Please please please treat all your customers the same. I was excited to find this place but wont be back. Rude and insulting to my daughter. I attended a Cork and Canvass class there, and had a wonderful time. They supply all of the painting supplies and you can purchase wine and beer by the glass. The class was $30 for the first visit and $25 for every subsequent visit, seemed very reasonable to me. It was fun getting the art instruction and trying some delicious wines. We will be returning as often as we can! Such a great night out!! read more
