I searched for places to take my wedding dress in because I had lost nearly 30 lbs since the time I…read morepurchased the dress and it was way too big on me. I didn't want to take the dress back to Davids Bridal for fear that it would cost a fortune to alter. I found Mary and I'm so glad I did. She was so sweet and understanding and you can tell she knows draping and fit well. She took my all-lace wedding dress down nearly 3 sizes and really wanted to make sure I was happy. I'm not usually a picky person, but when I went into what I thought would be my last fitting, I had lost more weight and the alterations she had done were still too big--I swear I was eating throughout this whole process, but planning for a West Coast wedding from the East Coast was getting stressful! After a few days if agonizing over it, I called Mary back and she was more than happy to re-do the alteration until I was happy with it. She is such a doll and the shop is so cute! I've already had her take in another dress and plan to go back for other alterations. Thank you!

Also, I seen her transformation of a sequined dress that started off with sleeves and a high neck turn into a sleeveless dress with a scoop neck. She is amazing. I walked in needing a Vivienne Westwood shirt mended, a pair of VW pants taken shorter and tapered , a pair of VW shorts taken shorter and I needed a pair of Marc Jacobs pants shortened and let out a bit in the hips. NONE OF THESE ITSMS WERE CHEAP :(.I felt very rushed during the process and yet I gave her a shot anyways. 4 days later I went back. The shirt was great, the shorts were good , the MJ pants were a great length, but she couldn't let out in the hip like discussed and the VW pants looked awful (I didn't fully realize til I got home all the flaws). I would not recommend this place for anything other than simple simple alterations. Not only did I spend a lot, I also was charged for the service she couldn't provide (the hip being let out). Now trying yet another place to see if the job can be fixed. Wish me luck.
