So what can I say about this place.. I read most there reviews before writing my own and I have to…read moresay I was disappointed. I have only great things to say about the front desk and its doctors and P.A.'s, and phlebotomist. My experience at High Mountain Health on Parish Dr. has been very pleasant. The only reason I give it 4 stars is cause you do have to wait to be seen but come on people, what doctors office on this planet do you NOT HAVE a wait. But let me just say these doctors and P.A.s spend time with you. They play close attention to your condition and make sure to follow up, either they follow up or have their M.A. call to follow up with you. If for any reason they can't accommodate you they do refer you to their office on Hamburg Turnpike which does provide great service as well. I love this place and DO NOT PLAN on switching doctors. I can understand this office has changed staff members and doctors at some point through out the years, so understandably NOT everyone will be thrilled with their visit or have had a positive experience in the past but if you have nothing NICE to say then keep it moving people. Thank You to everyone at High Mountain on Parish Drive for always making it so pleasant for me to visit.

If giving no stars were an option, you wouldn't see a single star here. First, the waiting room and…read moreoffices are prison-like. There were no toys or activities for children in the waiting room, only a TV playing an endless infomercial for "male supplements." Suspiciously there were no other children or parents present in the waiting room - or anywhere else it seemed - and yet the waits between seeing the nurse and then the doctor and then the nurse again were strangely long. All of this would have been annoying but acceptable had all gone well with the doctor. Unfortunately we were given Dr. Papadopoulos. I understand that doctors now have to focus on filling in all the blanks on their computers, and I was happy to forgive the lack of eye contact or human warmth until the following incident occurred: She asked me if I had a vaginal birth. I answered, with a smile and a laugh "Oh yes, I DEFINITELY did." (My daughter is 4 months old - I remember it well.) She asked me the birthweight. I went to check my notes. (I couldn't remember if it was 6.7 lbs or 6.9 lbs.) She asked me if my daughter had some kind of photo-something test at birth. "I'm sorry, I'm not sure," I said. With a straight face and a disapproving tone she said, "Was she adopted?" I was so stunned and offended I didn't quite know what to say. "No," I finally answered. She continued to go through the questions. Five minutes later she says, without looking at me, "I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable." All I could manage was, "Well, you did. Perhaps it will pass." What if I was the kind of new mom who was unsure about her parenting? What if I was the kind of new mom who had post-parnum depression? Saying something like that to a sensitive person could really scar someone. Frankly I have never experienced such a lack of human connection or empathy with a doctor. I'm amazed this woman has survived in this practice. I know I for one won't be returning. And I hope anyone who reads this will think twice before subjecting themselves to the "care" of Dr. Papadopoulos.

I never had to wait more than 10 minutes to see him. Yes, the girl he has there now might not be the most outgoing person, but she is ok and I never had a problem with her. Dr. Pepe never overcharged me for anything and I never had to pay anything outside the copay. He is always thorough with the examination and does strep test right there. He also was the first doctor to diagnose my older son with allergies to cats when nobody else had and my son was sick for a few years. I recommend Dr. Pepe.

Dr Pepe is a great pediatrician. We have never had to wait more than 10 minutes to see him. If my son is sick they always see him the same day. I can't tell you how many times I've called on a Saturday morning because my son was sick and Dr Pepe said to bring him in. On a few occasions when my son was very sick Dr Pepe called us on the weekend to check in and see how he was doing. Not many drs would do that. He is very thorough. Even if we go in for something minor he always takes his time and does a complete review and explains everything. The receptionist is very nice and always pleasant. The story about extra charges for asking questions is just crazy. I always ask questions during all visits - including well visits - and there is no extra charge for it. If you live in the Little Falls area and need a caring pediatrician who doesn't make you wait for an hour in the waiting room with a sick baby call Dr Pepe.

In conversations before the bris, I knew that my friend was nervous about the process, the ceremony, and the actual circumcision. I can say with confidence that Dr. Rumbak put the family's mind at ease both with her expertise and her gentle approach. As a "spectator" at the ceremony, Dr. Rumbak passed around sheets so we can all follow along and feel part of the ceremony, and explained what different blessings meant. She also added some Jewish text in a modern and relevant way, which I appreciated, and my family continued to discuss post ceremony. The sweet baby did super well and was calm throughout the entire process. Truthfully, I didn't even know when the actual circumcision actually happened because she was so gentle and discrete. At the end of the ceremony, many people went up to Dr. Rumbak to compliment her on one of the best brit mila's they ever went to, and many asked for her card (including my mom for our temple!). She has a great business partner in Shachar, who socialized with the guests of the ceremony, kept everything organized, and was just an all around stand up guy. Oh, and how great that she is a mohel AND a doctor. Talk about putting your mind at ease..that will definitely do it. Highly recommend.

Would have loved so much to give a glowing review of Dr. Rumbak but unfortunately we look back on…read morethe day of my son's bris and what transpired after with a lot of sadness. Dr. Rumbak deserves credit and thanks for her discretion in not circumcising our son the day of his bris due to a urological condition she noticed in her ore-ceremony examination. We are thankful for that. She performed what essentially worked out to a baby naming ceremony for us. Obviously the day was emotional to begin with and the news she couldn't circumcise was extremely disappointing and heartbreaking since this was a day we looked forward to for so long. In the days after the bris we were able to absorb the events better and realized exactly what happened. To begin with, my wife asked for a program to keep as they were being collected (yes, collected), and the response was, "I collect them." She said the same to my mom (baby's grandma). We consider this ridiculous - even if the baby's grandparents couldn't have one, at least the parents should. When I emailed Dr. Rumbak about the issue I'm about to describe, I also mentioned the program and that part of my email was left unaddressed. Here's the major problem, though. We paid $800 for a circumcision plus $150 for travel from Manhattan to Nassau. We were happy to do this because we really liked Dr. Rumbak on the phone. However, after the bris, we had a bit of a realization that really irked us. Why were we never offered any kind of refund for the circumcision not being performed? It really should have been offered that day, on the spot, but it wasn't. Days and weeks turned to months and we still were never offered anything. We didn't even get an email or phone call to check on our son given the medical issue Dr. Rumbak identified. This was surprising given the emotional nature of the day but also because part of Dr. Rumbak's service (advertised on her web site and vouched for in her reviews) is her frequent follow up with the family. Finally after a few months, I emailed her explaining we feel we are owed some kind of refund due to the most critical part of the ceremony, the circumcision, not being performed. It is that expertise for which we paid. Dr. Rumbak issued a $200 refund, saying that the rate for a baby naming is $600. It's unfortunate such a beautiful day was soured by the experience we had. As new parents we feel we were, in a way, taken advantage of. Dr. Rumbak did ultimately give some money back, but we feel we shouldn't have had to ask. Experiences like this are what make people cynical about organized religion. The right thing to do would have been to give us a refund without us having to ask. We would not recommend her.
