Im in town this week for a quick vacation. Instead of the outrageous prices at the spa of our hotel, I decided to try mai nail lounge. I walked in without an apt, they took me right away, no wait. The space was large, bright, and clean. I had a mani/pedi w Jessica and a hour facial with Vlada. They were both wonderful. Jessica did a great job with my nails. She was fast, detail oriented, and courteous. Vlada was fabulous w the facial and the head neck shoulder massage felt great! Prices were very reasonable. Overall just a wonderful experience and I will definitely come back!! read more

Here on vacation , walked in they were very nice took me right away Jessica did my nails place is esthetically modern&nice , the actual regular manicure was very no frills no massage no hot towel very chikchak was asked to get up to wash my nails with some brush as I'm walking to sink the exposed kitchen which is weird in a nail salon has raw chicken pieces thawing on the counter (gross) open bags of chips dirty dishes in sink mess all over the counter really weird & to boot it was $25 I guess it's $20 but I got the $5 nail polish seriously for the price I would have done my nails in my spas hotel! If u just need a fast manicure & u don't need any xtras or pampering & ur willing to spend $20 on a manicure & don't care about possibly seeing there dinner preparations then go , but I was disappointed read more

I needed a nail fix. Would have made it worth the nail technician time. And everybody's time. She asked at the front desk if I had my nails done there, I said no but I have an emergency and i needed some help. She recommended a nail salon down the street. She did not offer any help at all!!! Or time to come back. I would've paid a full set just to get one nail fixed. That's OK, they must only help locals and that must be their business. If you are from out of town and need some help, and even willing to pay for it, they will NOT help you. Find somewhere else. read more

Never have I ever had to write a review like this. Mai is a horror. I have been going there religiously for over a year. (Jessica is AMAZING-she gets the star). Three times Mai (the owner herself, who knows me) has taken my reservation over the phone but never put it in the book. Once she double booked by putting two names at the same time. I have never once argued but just went along with it because after all, there are worse things. But, the fact that she has NEVER forced people to wear masks, has never socially distanced her clients, and I have never seen her clean seats in between customers...all of this should have been a signal. Today, when I finally stood up for myself, (once again she just didn't put my appointment in the book) Mai asked me not to come back! LOL. Good riddance. 3 manicure salons on every block...life will certainly go on. read more

First time visiting and I loved it! All of the staff are super nice and friendly. Huge selection of nail polish. Super clean. My pedicure and manicure came out perfect; they did my nails exactly like i want it them. Super happy that i found this nail salon. Will definitely return. read more

I actually hate getting my nails done as I am impatient but I had the luxury of having Barbie do my nails, she is talented, experienced and such a sweetheart. The vibe of this place is very positive. Wow, wow and then lets some add more WOW! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by the beautiful & lovely receptionist. She seated me immediately and offered beverages (which range from soft drinks, tea, coffee and WINE!). I of course had a delicious glass of red wine. My technician Jessica (and she's the reason I came after reading about her on yelp!); also very warmly greeted me. She proceeded to do the most amazing job on my toes (regular pedicure) followed by a gorgeous gel manicure. She was meticulous, detail-oriented, attentive and did exactly what I requested. 10 stars to you jessica! I'll be back in a few short weeks, just to see you, and of course for my amazing service. if i could give this place 0 stars i would. i went in on sunday april 10th and got a pedicure and a liquid gel fullset. the fullset was a disaster. my nails were breaking while i was still getting them done. the nail tech let me know that liquid gel is not something she's generally good at and she specializes in acrylic. when i left the salon one nail broke. i didn't think much of it because i know how to fix it, but Monday came around and all day my nails were falling off. the shop closes at 7 so i decided to call them on Tuesday morning. when i called, Mai, the owner told me she didn't believe me so she asked me to be at the shop in 30 min. i arrived and had to wait another 30 minutes for her to even see me and she started accusing me of breaking my own nails and saying i didn't like them so i broke them and she wouldn't be fixing my nails or refunding my money. i paid about $230 for everything including a tip and she wouldn't even accommodate me to fix them. i had to call the police only for her to give me a partial refund of $95. read more

Maritza is my go to at this salon! She is excellent and my nails always last until the next appointment! She is also quick and does my manicure in like 20-25 minutes perfectly. The owner is always smiling and so welcoming and hospitable and the salon is very clean. I would definitely recommend Mai's nail lounge it's a great experience when I go there! read more

Mai Nail Lounge is a welcomed addition to the neighborhood. The salon is impeccable and has plenty of polish color choices. You are always greeted with a friendly smile, asked what you would like to drink and promptly escorted to your nail tech. In my case, Maritza, whom I can't say enough about. Maritza is very talented and always good with a funny story to make the time more enjoyable. With Maritza quickness yet perfection is her forte. It seems that I always come in short on time. That is no concern to Maritza. She will quickly give me the best mani/pedi in town. Although she is quick, she is not rushed, the mani/pedi is perfect and last 2 to 3 weeks. That's lots to say for me, I work on a keyboard all day long. Mai Nail Lounge and Maritza are definite musts. read more

worst nail place i've been to. if you go, do not get your nails done by the owner. she is the worst. made me wait for 1 hour before attending me. then, she put cotton and acetone on my to nails for 40 minutes. she came back and removed it, then came back to scrape it with the machine. basically she put the acetone for nothing. damaged my nail bed. then she started painting my toe nails and it looked horrible, someone else had to come and try to fix it...anyways.. there's much more. simply don't go there. find another place. trust me. read more
