Two weeks after an absolutely horrible visit at a different local salon (feel free to read my review for that one...OIY!), I called Angie based on the positive reviews she has already received. She was very up-front about working on other salon's disasters and explained her pricing structure. I felt an immediate sense that "she knows her sh**" and I promptly made an appointment. During our first appointment, she was alarmed about the state of my nails...and rightly so, I'll add - they were in a dreadful state after going to a chop shop that calls itself a spa - hah! She professionally advised me that she could definitely help, although it would take some time to get them into "magazine quality" state. She took the time up-front to examine my nails thoroughly and explain what she would do. (I have never had anyone do that before!) It is now almost 4 months later and my nails have never looked or felt better and they are "almost" in magazine state. In my humble opinion, they already are amazing so I can't wait until she advises me that they are up to her standard. ;) Angie is punctual, professional and her salon is spotless! She has created a very welcoming and relaxing space and she truly cares about her clients and their well-being...I am not just a number or a quick buck. And do an excellent job with shellac. I had a regular pedicure and a gel manicure and they were both excellent.
