I went here with my girlfriends on Monday as part of a girls getaway!…read moreWe did the spa massage and pedicure package. The staff was overall very welcoming, offered to start us off in the sauna and then we were led to our massage rooms. The massage itself was great! One thing I will say is to be very specific about what you want otherwise they will just go through a routine. But I find this important for most massage spots. The reason I'm giving this a two start review is because of the pedicure. The woman doing my massage repeatedly cut me, and when I was jerking away she didn't stop. The polish is also very messy and after multiple times asking her to fix it she did not. So for the overall value after the upcharge for shellac polish that now I'll just need to get removed I was very unhappy with the service! I believe the women there are all trained in everything so obviously did not specialize in pedicures! Also as far as polish selection goes they don't have many so if you're looking for anything out of the realm of pinks, nudes and darker reds you'll be disappointed! So I'd recommend this place for the massage, but definitely stick to an actual nail salon for the toes!

We both had the Aromatherapy Massage and it was absolutely heavenly. I could have laid on that table for the rest of the evening. The room was completely cozy and comfortable and it was awesome that they gave us the option of being in the same room even though we were just a couple of friends and not a "couple". Ha. A really lovely experience that I would absolutely recommend to anyone headed into the Kelowna area. It's my understanding that their staff travel between their three locations and are all very good at their jobs. :)

If you haven't had a reflexology massage before than it's time to start lol…read more We are visiting from Richmond which has a huge selection of these types of massage spas but in Kelowna there really aren't a lot of options. The good news is this option at Century is amazing. Sit back relax and get the benefits of a massage that hits your pressure points with just the right amount of "pain". Don't worry if it's too soft or too hard they can make adjustments on the fly. I highly recommend Eric and Grace. They were both amazing. Will come again when I'm back in town

I love this place. I used to live in Vancouver and have really missed the Chinese foot massage…read moreplaces. So happy there is finally one of these places in Kelowna! I've been here quite a few times and have done the reflexology foot massages many times, the acupressure back/body massages a few times and have done the fire cupping twice. I've had a very good experience each time which is why I keep coming back. The foot/leg massages are amazing, I always feel so pampered and relaxed during and after. They're about 50 minutes long. If the pressure is too strong or weak you can tell them. WHAT IS REFLEXOLOGY?: Also called "zone therapy," this mixture of healing art and science is based on the premise that an energy channel encompassing 12 vital organs exists from our feet to the tops of our heads. Applying pressure with his/her hands, a reflexologist unblocks that channel to restore proper health and organ function. The back/body acupressure massages are very nice and relaxing. So good for tight muscles. WHAT IS ACUPRESSURE?: Acupressure is a form of touch therapy that utilizes the principles of acupuncture and Chinese medicine. In acupressure, the same points on the body are used as in acupuncture, but are stimulated with finger pressure instead of with the insertion of needles. Acupressure is used to relieve a variety of symptoms and pain. And I love the fire cupping. It seems weird and scary at first but once they're suctioned on...it's actually insanely relaxing. The bruising usually lasts about 2 weeks and as you get it done more often, the bruising goes away faster. WHAT IS FIRE CUPPING?: Cupping therapy is an ancient form of alternative medicine in which a therapist puts special cups on your skin for a few minutes to create suction. People get it for many purposes, including to help with pain, inflammation, dispel stagnant blood to improve blood flow, relaxation and well-being, and as a type of deep-tissue massage. Anyways, the service is great. The owners and employees are very sweet and friendly. And the whole place is nicely renovated and nice, bright, and clean. Will be back again and again.

After calling all other offices and comparing price quotes, reviews and talking with my girlfriend…read moreabout everyone we know and where they went I decided on here. I wanted Juvederm lip fillers and this would be my first time so yes, I was nervous/excited and my gut was in a knot. Kim was my injector and she was very friendly, knowledgeable and professional. It was a surreal experience and the hours leading up seemed to drag by but once I got in there, things moved nicely and before I knew it we were done. We used 1 syringe on my lips and Kim did an amazing job! I want my lips to stay exactly this way but I understand that they may be a bit swollen. My biggest fears were that a) I wouldn't see a change and would therefore have just wasted 500(or so) bucks or b) have them look awful. So I was soo relieved and excited at the end result when I looked in the mirror and they looked awesome(you could say it was a fun and pleasant shock). I asked for a sexy pouty (Kylie Jenner (I know I was embarrassed to ask but still)) look and Kim knew what I was goin for. One of the things I read online was to make sure you get a doctor to do the injections, well I looked into that and the price does go up quite a bit, but honestly I have no negatives to say about my experience at Okanagan Skincare and am very glad I chose them. I'm happy with the result and will be going back when I need a touch up(let's hope it lasts forever though;) Stats: female/26/Juvederm-ultra; 1syringe/$500.00 Update June 21: after my first visit I decided I wanted more so I went a second time and had Kim again. She was as great as ever and my lips looked good right away! Unfortunately though after a week or two I wasn't seeing that much improvement, which was probably just my face shape(lip contouring) or my body metabolizing it quickly. So obviously after shellin out a good chunk of change I was disappointed that I my lips didn't end up the way I wanted them to:(. So, without much expectations for anything I ended up calling them and explaining how I felt. Vivienne was working the phones and was so helpful and understanding, she made me feel at ease and hopeful that something could be done. She booked me in for Tuesday and I just got back from there! You wouldn't believe it! They treated me so nice and gave me a complimentary syringe, which was more than I could have hoped for. So no matter what, I am so pleased about my experience with Okangan Skin centre and really feel well taken care of. Thank you so much!

Advertised as a dermatologist clinic, but you'll only talk to Nurses instead of the Dr who…read morespecializes in skin care. My first contact with Okanagan Skin Care Centre was over email, and then booking an appointment with email as well. This is an awesome practice to have for businesses looking to increase traffic or business. Now when I got there, I told the Nurse I wasn't interested in any sort of facial scrubs as they all seem to be like proactive (this is an awesome product, pay us). The nurse agree'd that proactive was overpriced and overvalued for what it actually did - this then segued into the nurses pitch for their own line of facial scrubs, toners, anti-aging, and revitalizing products. When talking to a medical professional, I take them at face value as I trust the education they have. DO NOT TRUST THE PEOPLE HERE, THE NURSES ARE SALES PEOPLE. I was sold a $300 package, which was originally $600-700 but a few products taken away ($60 lotion, really?) to make it cheaper. They tried selling me a tube the size of 2 fingers that cost $160 - I couldn't even listen to what it did as I was hemorrhaging through my wallet at this point. Long story short, someone I thought I could trust ripped me off. I now have 3 bottles of face cleaner that don't come close to what the nurse told me they would do. I've had better success going to a general MD and asking for a prescription of whatever comes to their head first. At least it's covered by health care, proven to work and won't make me feel like I've had money taken from me without anything to show for it. I guess $300 is the price I pay to find out there are untrustworthy people in Health Care. Kimberly - you sold me snake oil with a smile on your face and I'll never forget it.
