I've been here quite a few times and have done the reflexology foot massages many times, the acupressure back/body massages a few times and have done the fire cupping twice. I've had a very good experience each time which is why I keep coming back. The foot/leg massages are amazing, I always feel so pampered and relaxed during and after. They're about 50 minutes long. If the pressure is too strong or weak you can tell them. WHAT IS REFLEXOLOGY?: Also called "zone therapy," this mixture of healing art and science is based on the premise that an energy channel encompassing 12 vital organs exists from our feet to the tops of our heads. Applying pressure with his/her hands, a reflexologist unblocks that channel to restore proper health and organ function. The back/body acupressure massages are very nice and relaxing. So good for tight muscles. WHAT IS ACUPRESSURE?: Acupressure is a form of touch therapy that utilizes the principles of acupuncture and Chinese medicine. In acupressure, the same points on the body are used as in acupuncture, but are stimulated with finger pressure instead of with the insertion of needles. Acupressure is used to relieve a variety of symptoms and pain. And I love the fire cupping. It seems weird and scary at first but once they're suctioned on...it's actually insanely relaxing. The bruising usually lasts about 2 weeks and as you get it done more often, the bruising goes away faster. WHAT IS FIRE CUPPING?: Cupping therapy is an ancient form of alternative medicine in which a therapist puts special cups on your skin for a few minutes to create suction. People get it for many purposes, including to help with pain, inflammation, dispel stagnant blood to improve blood flow, relaxation and well-being, and as a type of deep-tissue massage. The staff was overall very welcoming, offered to start us off in the sauna and then we were led to our massage rooms. The massage itself was great! One thing I will say is to be very specific about what you want otherwise they will just go through a routine. But I find this important for most massage spots. The reason I'm giving this a two start review is because of the pedicure. The woman doing my massage repeatedly cut me, and when I was jerking away she didn't stop. The polish is also very messy and after multiple times asking her to fix it she did not. So for the overall value after the upcharge for shellac polish that now I'll just need to get removed I was very unhappy with the service! I believe the women there are all trained in everything so obviously did not specialize in pedicures! Also as far as polish selection goes they don't have many so if you're looking for anything out of the realm of pinks, nudes and darker reds you'll be disappointed! So I'd recommend this place for the massage, but definitely stick to an actual nail salon for the toes!

They failed to tell me when I was booking that they were not doing any makeup services due to covid. The girl on the phone told me I was all booked in for hair and makeup. Four days later, I got a text to confirm my appointment, I confirmed. Then got a call, saying they were not doing makeup at all and they booked me in error. This was the day before my photos. This was 4 days after I booked. It left me no time to find someone else to do my makeup for my photos. I also wasn't apologized to, or even offered anything off my hair appointment for the trouble, was just told to go try Mac or Sephora.

I had a strong reaction to the products that they used, and my face broke into tiny little puss pimples that lasted for three days. That is not their fault, it was my body's reaction to the seaweed products that they use however it did take away from ever wanting to go there again. My friend and I were in a room so that we could be together. The lady that gave my friend her facial - had a very squeaky chair, so every time she moved in her chair, it took away from the ambiance of the quiet and the serenity of what we had hoped to feel during our facials. Also, the young woman that gave me my facial did not have her hair tied back and it kept brushing into my face and I didn't like that feeling. And , my face was so oily that I slept with a towel over my pillowcase for two nights.
