To my surprise, this turned into an unexpected 5-star experience. I was completely wrong in my assumptions. From start to finish, the process was smooth and painless. Yes, I waited maybe 8-10 minutes--but honestly, who's counting? I was too busy browsing the MIO products, which made the wait go by quickly. The gentleman who helped me (I didn't catch his name--he had long hair, so I hope that helps identify him) was outstanding. Friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful. He even offered to install the decal for me, but unfortunately, I wasn't driving the vehicle it was going on. Still, the offer alone deserves recognition. I stepped outside afterward to snap a few photos, and I may just come back again to spend some time exploring travel resources and ideas for getting around Oklahoma. All in all, a surprisingly pleasant experience and proof that not all tag or toll office visits have to be painful. Well done!

This is a new Travel Center built just off of IH-44 at Exit 1 when entering Oklahoma from Texas…read more The Travel Center is open 24/7, while the Casino closes overnight. It definitely has that new feel and look to it. Still spotless clean. This is a full Truck Stop for drivers and does offer showers and a small snack bar for meals. The retail side lacks a bit for truckers as it has minimal supplies for cars, nothing for trucks but logs and personal amenities. Has six Diesel lanes dedicated to larger trucks in the rear. Very easy access. Also offers plenty of Truck parking for overnight parking. There is a Casino here. I have not been able to get there during open hours, so I cannot comment on the size of it, or what it offers inside. I have not had the opportunity to try the snack bar either but, the menu has a nice little selection on it and stops serving hot food at 10pm, after 10pm they do still offer cold sandwiches. They do have a handful of tables for the dine-in option.

I travel for work between Clinton and Edmond. I normally stop at this travel center for a recharge…read moreon my Tesla and sleep and buying 4-5 cups of coffee and $2.50 breakfast. I have been this since they opened in Feb 2025. Something I would pay for a $7 shower for emergencies. Well today, September 15, 2025. I was asked to stop parking in the RV parking lot which has never used since their grand opening. I am the only one using the RV parking lot. The manager wants me to park in front of the store and use the charger for people that are not camping. When I'm visiting this travel center I'm normally camping in place for about 12 hours a day. This should grant justification to park in the RV parking lot and hook up. But because the manager felt indifferent about this, I will start using Cherokee Trading Post gas station and KOA El Reno site to rest and shower. Don't understand why they are pushing people away that can help them by word of mouth advertising and increasing their reputation in turn increase their revenue.

The bathrooms are better than most gas stations, and the staff is generally friendly and quick to help. Prices are fair, and it's easy to get in and out fast--true to the name. Not a destination spot, but definitely reliable and convenient when you need it.

Not to mention the hotel is spotless, which is probably no easy feat for the housekeeping team. It's also pet friendly, I brought my two Chihuahuas. I can't say enough good things about this hotel. Hats off to the front desk staff, especially the housekeeping crew who run a very tight ship!
