Service is good. Pizza is good and quick. The menu has several other options. Plus you can play the games while you wait for your order.

Clean and convenient store and restrooms. The casino is likewise clean and the machines aren't too tight to make gambling there no fun.

Pool and Gym are spotless and encountered no significant problems with either. Laundry room is available. TV can connect to Netflix and Disney. Water stays consistently hot with good pressure. The gym offers complementary earbuds with aux cables. Cracker Barrel & Walmart are right next door. Cons: When we booked, we were assured a corner room on the 4th floor would be waiting for us. When we checked in, there was no corner room available. We ended up staying in a different room and were moved to a corner room the next day. The first room had a broken bathtub drain. The shower doors are quirky. (They kinda slam or open/close themselves) The shower grip bar is precarious due to location and lack of texture/grip could cause an accident for anyone using it for actual aid. (I am mobility limited and found it is unsafe to trust because it's vertical and very slippery) There's a laundry service slip in every room, but seemingly none of the staff are aware of it; as I was effectively called a liar when I asked at the front desk and was made to return to the 4th floor to retrieve the slip of paper to prove it existed. (Walking with a cane and the aforementioned mobility issues) Staff could have checked another room to verify rather than insinuating I imagined this service in both rooms I stayed in.. but, alas, they did not, and nobody so much as apologized for their ignorance and unprofessional behavior. (Probably remove the laundry service slips or train the staff the service exists, in future) The laundry room at the hotel is fine, but there are 2 washers and 3 dryers. For my laundry, it took about 40 minutes on each machine. Also, you pay by card, and the card processors are slow/buggy. I believe it took 3 attempts to get each load to actually start. The waffles and machines are great, but most guests don't understand initially that the iron must be flipped to begin the timer, so I'd recommend moving the signage to a more obvious location or enlarging the font. The little shop at the front desk is very sparse and missing many items most hotels carry standard. It's so sparse, items are spaced out awkwardly to make it seem more filled than it is. There is a Walmart next door, so it's probably not a big priority. There are no showers in the swimming area. A minor thing, but can lead to hygiene problems in the pool area over time, and contributes to a wet floor from the pool room to the elevator. (People can't rinse off & change there so they must go back to their rooms first.) Providing robes could be one way to reduce this issue. Parking in the evening can be difficult as the lot fills up rather quickly. There may be a few too many diamond member spots, as they're frequently half empty and could be utilized on such evenings instead of sitting vacant. Overall, it's a good hotel, and it's very new. However, to stay in good quality/condition, it's always good to take preventative measures. As far as I can tell, it's the best hotel in the area, but I have not stayed at the others; only called around and heard by word-of-mouth from others at Sheppard AFB.

The restaurant and Bar provide amazing options so you don't need to leave the hotel to find dinner! I love their hamburger! Delicious! This last week was my 3rd stay here! The best perk for Elite Status travelers: the Delta Pantry! They made fresh chocolate chip cookies on Wednesday night. I was also surprised to see vanilla ice cream cups in the pantry... 15 seconds in the microwave and that cookie melted like it made for holding that ice cream! The combination was a sweet treat! Other provisions: snacks, bottled water, bottled sparkling water, juice, canned Pepsi products. For breakfast, they provide various muffins, bagels, an pastries. They have cream cheese packets and a variety of creamers or almond milk for your freshly brewed coffee! I am usually here for 3+ days at a time, the staff make this place feel like home. The housekeeping staff are the absolute best! So friendly! So fun to talk to! I wish I would have asked your name! This will always be my crash pad when I'm in Wichita Falls! We booked thru booking.com and making the reservation was easy peasy - they even took Apple Pay, which was pretty cool. Upon arrival, I will say that the grounds looked a little bit older, but clean. Everything else seemed clean and well taken care of. Here's the good and bad! The good: - older property but clean and taken care of - check in was easy - pretty good price - hot and cold breakfast was served (Texas shaped waffles, oatmeal, toast, yogurt, cereal, omelette, sausage, biscuits) Bad: - front attendant could've warmer - room was non smoking but had a slight smell of cigarettes - comfy bed and sheets - AC made excessive noise so hard to sleep without earplugs - toiletries provided The decent breakfast really made up for some of the bad, but again it wasn't too bad.

The room was clean and fresh when we checked in, but . . …read more We've stayed here twice before, but this will be the last time. The biggest problem was apparent dishonesty by the young man in the office. When asked about the breakfast advertised, he assured us there would be biscuits and gravy, pastries, cold cereal, and juices. In the morning - all they had was bad coffee. Nothing else. The young man in the office said they had a problem with a delivery. There were appliances there like a big multi-cereal dispenser, but no present breakfast. The second bit of low credibility was when we were looking for the ice machine and he indicated there had been an electrical problem the previous night and the machine was not currently working --but considering Sara C's review pic from Feb 2025 -"Out of Order. Across the Street Ice Machine Working" -I wonder if this is a continuous problem rather than a glitch from the night before. There were a few other problems: * The deadbolt was inoperable. The door seemed warped out of alignment and no amount of pushing or wrestling the door up or down allowed the dead bolt to engage. (We were tired, it was late, and we didn't feel like demanding a new room so we piled luggage next to the door as an alarm.) * The swimming pool was partially filled with brownish-green stagnant water. I remember the pool being out of service on a previous stay here, but don't remember if it was in this sad shape both of our previous visits. * One of the lights by the bed was burned out or otherwise nonfunctioning. The "Hotel" is situated conveniently on the highway we were traveling on, but we will look elsewhere if and when we are driving through Vernon again.

We received a king sized room on the fifth floor and it was quite spacious. we did notice that the wood finish on many of the surfaces were chipped, and overall the room was really showing its age. The mattress itself felt like an old spring mattress, and it felt like I could feel the individual springs in the mattress; I didn't get all that great of sleep while I was here because of that. There was no safe in our room that I could find, so we kept our valuables on us at all times. Apart from the rooms, on check in we had some hiccups with the staff who had issues with our check in process, so we had to wait around for 10 minutes while they resolved things. Afterwards, they realized they did not have us do an incidental, so they had to call us to bring us back to the front desk to get it from us several hours after we checked in. They said we could come by at our convenience, but we received two more phone calls within half an hour while we were out enjoying our time. Their mistake became our problem, and we did not appreciate that. Aside from that, the staff throughout the hotel were friendly and welcoming. I felt very happy talking with most of the staff there for anything we needed. The hotel itself is nice, with its common areas and casino area very clean. There was no smoking inside so we enjoyed breathing clean air when we visited the casino. There is a grill that is open many hours of the day there, and a dinner restraint as well is open in the evenings. Is it nearby several restaurants, so food is easily accessible which we really liked. Overall, it was a good hotel, but we're not sure we'd stay here again unless we just wanted to conveniently gamble our whole trip without needing to leave.
