What a nice clean airport…read more After so many delays at the airport recently, it was so pleasant to be able to experience a seamless weekend at the Oklahoma City Will Rogers International Airport. The airport security line was less than a 5 minute wait. The shuttle from the airport to the car rental agency was so easy. Love the art at the airport, too. So many flowers and a cowboy sculpture. It's a medium sized airport, so there aren't a bunch of trains and causeways to deal with. At the same time, it's large enough to have plenty of nice amenities, restaurants, and shopping near the gate. There's also some nice OKC-esque art and sculpture peppered around the inside and outside of the terminal. My only issue was that it was hard to find where to go for rental cars. Signage could definitely be improved. They were doing some remodeling during my last visit, so maybe this is on the agenda!

A-1 doesn't seem to be in business any longer. They were the only taxi service left in Norman, Ok and if they have gone out of business, then Norman has no local taxi service any more.

On my first use, I had scheduled for an 8 am pickup, but then that morning, I was able for an earlier pickup and they got someone to me right away. The second time I called, they told me it may take about 25 minutes to get to me. So they did let me know there would be a delay. Both times, the drivers were courteous. I also had to pay an additional $70 for checking in2 bags as well. Delta Main is better than AA. I suppose this is why we almost always fly exclusively fly Delta. I end up paying out more for seats and bags with other airlines.
