I was told that pretty much everything is great here, and that's true. I ordered quite a few things, and I loved all of them. The Cammack Cheezy Jalapeno was what jumped out at me first (a burger with cream cheese, pepper jack cheese and jalapeños). It's not spicy at all, but it does have a nice kick. The cream cheese mellows things out, so it's a nice, flavorful burger. I also got the loaded cheese fries, because I couldn't help myself. The fries came topped with barbecue pork, but I could have chosen chili or bacon. But why would I have? Pulled pork is always the right choice. The fries were good and cheesy, and had a lot of pulled pork on them. This is the part of the review where I tell you that you need to order your food and sweet treats at separate counters. Because I didn't know that! I ordered a root beer float and a banana split from one counter, and they were waiting for me at another counter. I didn't know that sweet treats should be ordered and picked up at the ice cream counter, but now you know. You're welcome. This is diner food at its finest. Lots of fried things and malts and burgers and stuff. Definitely come for the food, because it's great. But also come for the decor and atmosphere. Cammack Station is like stepping back into the 1950s, in the best way.

So, I was looking for a late afternoon cup of coffee and somehow found Cool Beans. It's part of an L-Shaped building that houses Mathews Insurance on one end and Tiki Hutt Tanning Salon on the other. Nestled back in the corner is a hard to see (unless you are really looking for it) entrance for Cool Beans. After parking in a lot across the street, I entered a somewhat densely packed dining room with a large mural on the back wall, a foosball table in a corner, bulk popcorn and candy on the far wall, and an order counter for coffee and ice cream. I was quickly greeted by a woman who came over from the tanning salon who filled my order. Turns out she works all three places in the building! No wonder it was confusing. I will say the coffee was tasty and that the woman was friendly and patient while I made my order. All good there! And though I understand that this business is filling a need with some desired products, I couldn't help but feel even this single business was a little too much. Too many tables made it feel cramped. Maybe if they got rid of the foosball, they could spread out a bit. There are only a few outdoor seats available, so this is really a pick-up and go kinda setup. But the drinks are authentic boba and teas, matches, smoothies with real tapioca pearls. They don't come with the pearls (aka, boba) unless it's a "bubble" drink but you can add them for an additional fee. If you don't like the tapioca pearls (the black ones, you can opt for the jelly filled pearls). The prices are standard to any boba tea shop. I don't play with donuts. I'm a donut-eating fool. Donuts are my thing. I have glaze running through my bloodstream. I've never eaten better donuts than the ones I got from Concannon's in Muncie. In fact, I'm planning another trip to Muncie JUST to visit Concannon's and get some donuts. What's a two-hour round-trip drive when you can be rewarded with amazing donuts during your journey? I visited Concannon's by myself, and although I wanted one of each of the donuts they had in the bakery case, I limited myself to three donuts: a glazed pretzel-shaped yeasted donut, a blueberry cake donut and an old fashioned donut. My go-to at any donut shop is usually a glazed twist, but they don't have glazed twists here! Instead, they have a glazed pretzel-shaped donut, which turned out to have all of the elements of a glazed twist, but it was just bigger and more twisty. It was amazing, pillowy, slightly sweet and even more delicious when you pull it apart with your fingers and eat it bit by bit. The blueberry cake and old-fashioned donuts were my favorites, though. These melted in my mouth, especially the old-fashioned. It was so tender and fresh. The old-fashioned is one of those kinds of donuts that I wish I enjoyed with some coffee, but instead, I ate it solo while dancing around delightedly in my hotel room. Concannon's has lots of other sweets, desserts and baked goods, like cakes (including mini cakes and individual cake slices), cookies, whoopie pies, chocolates, popcorn, candies and all sorts of other goodies. There is also a cafe with coffee and other beverages available. This is a must-visit if, like me, you love donuts, but also a must-visit in general because it's such a Muncie institution.
