It offers a wide variety of breakfast, lunch, and dinner options in a very casual, unpretentious ambiance. What truly sets this place apart is the location right off the tarmac. The property features a static display of a historic Lockheed Constellation passenger aircraft. If the weather cooperates, you can actually enjoy your meal outside under the wings of this big metal bird while watching Cessnas and other small private planes take off and land. It's an incredibly unique dining backdrop. I recently met up with a Canadian friend here for breakfast, and the food and service were absolutely terrific. I ordered the two-egg platter ($7) with home fries and toast, adding a side of turkey bacon (+$3). I requested my eggs over-medium and they were cooked perfectly--a feat that is surprisingly difficult for many diner chefs to nail down. My friend opted for the impressive Triple Bypass Skillet ($16): three eggs cooked to order, bacon, sausage, AND Taylor ham, all served over a bed of seasoned breakfast potatoes in a sizzling cast iron pan. He thoroughly enjoyed it. To top it off, our server was fantastic. Our water glasses and coffee mugs were kept filled throughout the entire meal without any prompting whatsoever. Highly recommended for a great meal with an unbeatable aviation view. I will definitely be back.

Our table of four all had the chicken fried steak platter with eggs and home fries. I have to say the chicken fried steak was fried nicely. It was crispy and not greasy. The standout was the gravy on top. It wasn't thick and pasty as some are known to be. It had a little twang to it, sort of an accent of Cajun flavor. We all took a dessert to go as they had a nice selection of cakes and pies. Overall a nice experience and good food.

Enjoyed the music ambiance soft relaxing. For my appetizer we ordered the hummus with fresh veggies and pita bread that was delicious. They served flavored water orange slices with ginger- cucumber with mint leaves and lemon slices-my favorite was the cucumber mint. My main meal was a pork rib jerky a bit disappointed it was tough to cut and some of the pork was tender but top layer was over cooked and dry. Corn bread was delicious soft and served with soft butter. The coleslaw yummy as well-maybe should have gone with the fish. Our servers were wry attentive I like them .

The vegetables are very fresh as they grow a lot of what they serve. The vegetables they serve are the star of their dishes. Really tasty and delicious. However, the octopus was a bit overcooked as well as the ribs. It seems the cook left them on the fire a bit too long. Tasty nonetheless but it could have been better. The service was excellent as a lovely young lady took our orders and checked on us throughout our meal making sure we had what we needed. The ambience is relaxing and inviting as the garden and the place is quite beautiful. Surrounded by the vegetable garden and lush vegetation. No bugs though which made it even better. For dessert we shared a Pot De CRÈME, which is a creme with coconut, and charred pineapple. Quite tasty! It was a very nice experience.

Everyone loves taco Tuesday but Murphy's tacos just weren't good. The ground beef was kinda bland and mushy and the shrimp ones were disgusting. They were those tiny shrimps that you'd feed to carp. We were really impressed with the food, atmosphere, and overall feel of the restaurant. The menu is also reasonably priced compared to many places around us, and I love their starters/apps to choose from. The burgers are incredible, the truffle mac & cheese is one of my favorites. & my boyfriend absolutely lovess the penne vodka. The vodka sauce always taste freshly made. We've been getting takeout recently and have continued to really enjoy everything we order. The bartenders have also been incredibly kind and welcoming. Like so sweet! Everyone we've interacted with has been friendly, which I really love. The only area I've had a tiny issue with is the dine-in service. We've had the same server both times, and I completely understand that restaurants get busy I've worked in four myself. I don't want this to come across as harsh, but on both visits there were a few instances where we felt overlooked. Drinks and beers we ordered came after we had already finished our meals, and sauces and even napkins we had asked for either came much later or not at all. I was only frustrated because it was hard to get anything from this server the 2 times we went and than she seemed to be visibly pissed off or bothered when I had to ask again. I only mention this only because we genuinely enjoy this restaurant and would love for the service to reflect how much we enjoy everything else. Overall we really like Greenview Tavern and will definitely be back
