Garik was professionial and patient from the moment I reached out for a quote. We had a very unique…read morecase where we wanted one part of our backsplash redone due to a botched job from a previous contractor. He provided an estimate within two days of me reaching out and us discussing the problem and his recommended solution. I had to buy the materials for the job (tile, grout and trim) but that was fine with me as it was stated up front. I was able to double check the exact materials with him. We weren't able to have Garik and his team come until 2 months later (due to our own reasons) but he and his team showed up on time and ready to go. Because our backsplash has a herringbone pattern, they had to cut a lot of the tile pieces to properly fit the space (poor guy came in and out so many times I lost count). The end result though is a BEAUTIFUL cohesive backsplash. We love it. We also had a separate shower tile grout crack that I wanted Garik to look at when he was here. He explained the reasoning for the crack and provided a couple of solutions. We decided to move forward with one of them (for an additional pre-approved amount) and he drove all the way to Home Depot to buy the materials and fix the crack. It looks great actually and we appreciated the extra effort! LA traffic is no joke. HIRING THEIR SERVICE: I searched around for quotes on getting a relatively small backsplash installation in our kitchen, and Eric from priority Tile came back to us timely and thoroughly given my initial questions, which included asking for a recommendation of how many tiles to buy, since we're not sure how much square footage would be needed. I found Eric very responsive, patient, and thorough in his answers to me which was really helpful. We set up a time, and when something came up for us, Eric was very gracious and flexible to reschedule. INSTALLATION: On the day of installation, they arrived on time and waited as I tried to figure out whether the tiles that I received were the correct ones. Once that was sorted they began work. They were thorough, and also very neat. The subway tile that we wanted in our backsplash was installed very cleanly and also cut precisely around the nooks and crannies in the space. On June 8th I happened to park in front of their establishment outside of business hours on the public street. If I had parked in their parking lot they would have a legitimate reason for me to leave. But I was on City property and their authority ends at the property line. The only restriction would be the posted parking limitations, which I was well outside of. At 11pm at night, I had a visit from their guard politely asking me to leave while on PUBLIC PROPERTY. Apparently, I was "threating" their establishment when I was minding my own business on the City street. I understand the need for security, but they had no authority to force someone off public property. I don't fault the guard as he was only doing what he was ordered to do, and I didn't want to argue (even though I was in the right legally), but they need to learn that they don't have limitless authority in front of their establishment. I'm not a contractor, nor in the market for remodeling, but if I were looking for tile I'm going to go elsewhere. If they are going to be paranoid about someone legally minding his own business, I wonder what their mental state would be if I were to come in as a customer.
