I am updating the review to respond to the business's calculated misrepresentation of the facts and…read morean attempt to minimize severe, documented building code violations. For prospective customers reading this, here is the verified context: Fraudulently advertising yourselves as a "James Hardie Elite Preferred Contractor" to secure the job, only to systemically violate the manufacturer's strict installation guidelines, is not a "punch-list" oversight--it is deceptive marketing and a material breach of contract. Puncturing an internal PVC plumbing pipe, illegally wrapping it in black duct tape, and immediately hiding it behind the new siding is not a 'punch-list' item - it is active fraudulent concealment. The 'Fraudulent' Financing: We authorized the payment because they claimed to follow actively concealed the duct-taped plumbing. Inducing a customer to authorize a loan by hiding severe damage is the legal definition of fraudulent concealment. Contradictory Public Statements & The BBB Complaint: JP Exteriors is using public platforms to feign cooperation. On our active BBB complaint, they claim they are waiting for our independent inspection report before taking action. However, their own written record proves they inspected the property themselves on June 11th and issued a superficial patching offer on June 22nd. The very next day, they explicitly stated in writing they were not willing to expand their scope to a full replacement, formally refusing to cure the hidden defects before our third-party inspection was even conducted on June 24th. The 42-page independent inspection report, which we received on June 29, definitively confirms that the widespread, concealed code violations and structural deficiencies cannot be resolved through superficial patching. The report details systemic failures, including improperly installed weather-resistant barriers, missing flashings, overdriven fasteners, damaged boards, unsealed wall penetrations, and an internal PVC plumbing pipe that was punctured by a fastener and actively concealed with black duct tape. The Manufacturer's Involvement: James Hardie is indeed involved, to the extent that the manufacturer offered to provide free replacement materials to JP Exteriors so they could execute a proper rework. JP Exteriors leadership actively refused this offer. We stand entirely by our documented evidence, our 42-page forensic inspection report, and our active fraud dispute with the Texas Attorney General's Consumer Protection Division. The video proof of punctured plumbing remain on this review.

Saturday morning the crew was hard at work, and our roof was repaired before noon. The team was professional, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable. When storms hit and everyone is facing the same challenges to obtain services, it really meant a lot to have our repairs finished literally within 24 hours of that call. What a great company. We had a great experience with Spartan Exteriors when we had James Hardie exterior siding panels…read moreinstalled for our house. They were installed over the original plywood panels (using it as the substrate), which eliminated most of the potential demo (and the mess of demo!), and gave us a faster completion time. The crew took the right amount of time to do it right - I really appreciate this kind of professionalism. The crew showed clear knowledge and experience for properly installing Hardie products, which is key to a quality finish and long-term resilience. The entire crew had wonderful attitudes about the work and were easy to talk to when something needed to be discussed. The project manager supported the crew well, was very fast to respond when they needed additional materials. He checked in with me and the crew regularly, and pitched in to help when needed. We had some areas that presented challenges to the siding crew especially the walls behind our HVAC and city utilities equipment -- the crew did an amazing job installing around these items and still making the siding look great. All of the siding and trim work look really great and give our home a fresh new look.

It's now 2 o'clock, they haven't shown up, returned my call, or responded to my email. Update: Heard from the company after 4pm. They tried to tell me that my appointment was on Monday. I'll add a screenshot of the appointment they missed to clear up any doubt. Then the rep showed up. Sat in his car for a couple hours, didn't inspect the roof, gave roof estimates higher than comparable competitor and then estimated 10k for the gutters on my 2,700 sq home. We questioned that and he lowered it to 7.2k. We have a gutter estimate for less than half that from another company. The kicker - the rep called and asked me to change this review after his departure. I told him I'd update it, so here we are.

William Robb immediately scheduled a time for us to meet. We did our walk through and he delivered the proposed estimate as promised before the end of the weekend. My husband and I decided to move forward with the project which entailed replacing damaged siding and trim, and replacing and repainting trim and fascia. Once I signed the contract, Will Robb texted and informed me that they would likely begin work the following week. As promised, the work was completed the following Tuesday. Will texted and provided updates and photos. The work was, once again, impeccably executed. For us, "M&M Roofing, Siding, and Windows" is now synonymous with stellar craftsmanship, professionalism, impeccable execution, close attention to detail, and a measurable predictable outcome. And, once again, William Robb delivers. He is an asset to his company as he remains an extension of his business' vision. William Robb remains, for me and for my husband, the consummate professional and a person we can truly lean on with major projects. He has proven not once but twice that he is trustworthy.
