The customer service experience was completely unprofessional and hostile. The staff members…read morerefused to accept a credit card and insisted on cash only, despite having a valid payment method available. To make matters worse, the representative demanded that an ID or credit card be handed over as collateral just to get cash. After a tense argument, the transaction had to be split between cash and card. The total lack of basic people skills and aggressive communication made the interaction unnecessarily stressful. Businesses operating in the U.S. should offer clear, transparent payment policies rather than forcing cash-only terms or arguing with patrons. Insisting on cash in this manner creates a poor experience and raises serious concerns about proper business and tax transparency. Their business card clearly advertises a free pickup and drop-off service. However, when I asked for the drop-off service, they refused. While a business has the right to set its policies, it should not advertise a service it has no intention of providing. Misleading customers like this is unacceptable.

Our experience with Accelerate Auto Repair and Collision was extremely poor. We took two vehicles…read morethere for repairs. After three weeks, no repairs had been completed, and we had both vehicles towed to another repair shop. Communication throughout was inadequate: we called numerous times, but our calls were not returned. Most concerning, one of our vehicles sustained a completely damaged windscreen and severe body damage while in their care. The business told us that vandalism had occurred and that several vehicles had been affected. They refused to pay for the damage and told us to claim through our own insurance. When we arrived to collect our vehicles, we spent hours trying to resolve the situation. We were told that they would not release the vehicles unless we signed a document disclaiming their liability for the damage. We felt pressured to sign so that we could retrieve our vehicles and leave. During that visit, we also witnessed several other customers complaining about the service they had received. Based on our experience, the lack of repairs, unanswered calls, damage to our vehicle and the handling of its release, I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS BUSINESS. We entrusted them with two vehicles and left with unresolved repairs, additional damage and considerable frustration.

I brought my own parts to Midway Auto Center for installation and was quoted $300 for the work…read more After they informed me additional parts were needed, I approved a revised total of $375. When I returned to pick up my vehicle, I was told the bill had increased to $645 without my knowledge or approval. Because I needed my vehicle to get to work, I had no choice but to pay the additional amount to have it released. I later contacted the shop to request a refund of the unauthorized charges, but my concerns were dismissed, and I was treated disrespectfully throughout the process. I believe customers should be notified and asked for approval before repair costs exceed the agreed amount. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this business.
