My One Star Review for Pro Irrigation Services:…read more I did an internet search and found good reviews about them here and on google (and nothing but high praise on their website : ) So I called them Wednesday of last week and made an appointment with Josh to get an estimate for some work I needed done. He said Tyler would be here between 1 and 5 pm today (Monday)...and he would call to let me know when he was on the way. I thought a 4 hour window seemed a bit much but figured they had good reviews and so I'd set aside an entire afternoon and wait for them. But today after waitng from 1 to 4:30 pm...I still hadn't heard from Tyler and so I called to see if they were still coming and spoke to Josh who said Tyler had been at another commercial job all day and would try and get a hold of him and ask him to call me. By 4:55 I still hadn't heard anything and thought I'd call before they closed for the day to see what was up. As I called and began to leave a message...my call waiting showed that someone from Pro Irrigation was calling me so I clicked over and it was Josh who said he'd left a voice-mail and text message for Tyler and still hadn't heard back from him. I told him not to worry about it that I couldn't wait any longer. I had other things I needed to do but also wanted them to know why I was cancelling...so I explained that since I'd been waiting at that point 3 minutes shy of 4 hours without so much as phone call from Tyler...and that if this was the way they'd treat me when they were trying to get my business...I figured it would be the same or worse if I hired them. Rather than apologize Josh said that I had the "wrong impression" about them...and when I started to respond...and he HUNG UP ON ME! Apparently Josh wanted to put some icing on the "wrong impression" cake they'd been serving me all afternoon. --------------- Update: The elusive Tyler did finally call and leave a message for me at 5:21 pm...saying he could be at my home in a half an hour. That would have been 5:51 pm...almost an hour past the 4 hour window they'd asked for...and that's giving him the benefit of the doubt that he would have actually shown up in 30 minutes.

They came out and produced a quote which I felt was high. 2500 to adjust water pressure and replace/aim 33 sprinkler heads. 2500 to replace the drip system. I couldn't afford to do it all at once, so I suggested that they could just do the sprinklers and help me out by taking a little time to patch the leaks in the drip. I got a flat no on what I felt was a reasonable suggestion. The rep could tell I was disappointed, so he said optimistically, "we can do the $2500 worth of sprinkler head repair within a day." I'm out $100 for the quote, but I'll explore more client friendly options...

We used David and his company Living Waters to replace all poly lines on our 25-year-old property…read more This consisted of 3 circuits feeding nearly a hundred flowers, shrubs, and trees in both front and back yards. They just finished, and the yard looks better than when they started - everything is super tidy and clean. Their workmanship, attention to detail, and materials chosen were excellent, and David and his crew were an absolute delight to work with. Irrigation is all this company does; I'm glad we used them instead of a general landscaper for the peace of mind knowing the job was done right and the tubing and emitters were light years better than the home store stuff that our other quotes specified. Oh yeah, and their price was great. Our highest recommendation : )

Buyer Beware I hired this irrigation company to repair my…read moredrip irrigation system. During the initial visit, I was told that the water pressure was too high and that a regulator should be installed. I was charged $395 for the work, including the regulator. A couple of weeks later, I noticed that one of my drip lines was no longer shutting off properly. This had not been happening before the original repair, so I contacted him and asked him to come back and address the problem. When he returned, he told me that the issue had nothing to do with the work he had performed. He then said that he did not want to do the work and that he was not comfortable working for me because he felt that I did not trust him. I had given him no reason to feel that way. I simply wanted the irrigation problem fixed. He said he would refund $219, which he said was the amount I had paid for the regulator. In my experience, the way this situation was handled was very disappointing and unprofessional. If you hire someone to perform a repair and a related problem occurs shortly afterward, I believe the customer should at least be treated respectfully and have the issue properly addressed. Buyer Beware. I would not use this service again.

Our project was small (one day), but it entailed a lot of work and their lead guy, Aidan (sp?) was very accommodating and the whole crew (4 total) were extremely skilled. When we decided it was time to go ahead with our landscaping, we contacted several landscape…read morecompanies for quotes. Right from the start we found James from SonoranScapes the most responsive and professional. Other companies either took way too long to reply to calls or certainly were not the most innovative people to deal with. We previously worked with one landscaper to develop a design for the entire yard - back and front. While it took much longer than anticipated, it helped to give us a visual layout. This experience however, also gave us the necessary input to realize we did not want to continue working with that organization. The quote from SonoranScapes was the most competitive we received. The work was to complete implementation in both back and front of our property and James's quote encompassed all the work we wanted without cutting any corners. We were quoted nearly twice as much from other organizations. We had a few concerns about the design we had, and James was able to provide us with some great alternatives and suggestions to make the end project look outstanding. He was incredibly easy to work with, flexible and always responsive to any questions we had. We would also mention that James is very "hands-on", besides being onsite most of the time and very involved in the actual work. The SonoranScapes team was great throughout the entire process - they were prompt, respectful, professional, and most importantly delivered a STELLAR final product. James answered all our questions and checked in with us on a regular basis about the progress, and any updates. We couldn't have asked for anything more! We now have a beautiful and picturesque yard with an entertaining space. We highly recommend SonoranScapes.
