always quick, toes and hands done once a month and never had an issues. Always get a cup of tea and like sitting on the massage chairs

I use to love this place but twice now I have left very upset! I made appts both times because they get fairly busy. Both times my appt didn't matter because they got busy and let the walk-ins bump my appt! There are too many nail salons around that don't do this so I'm taking my business elsewhere! read more

I thought I would treat myself so I arranged to have a full set of lashes with a beautician who would be coming to my home. Unfortunately she became ill & had to cancel last minute. Dissapointed, I rang around many beauty salons trying to get an appointment but unsurprisingly (given the time of year - Xmas) they were all fully booked. Then I thought I struck lucky with D&J nails, Hertford as they were available. Now, in hindsight, I can see why they were available at such short notice. I know essentially they are a nail bar. Fair enough. But they do offer a range of beauty treatments too. When I arrived on time for my appointment I was left waiting for almost half an hour. I was given no consultation (i.e. what length or type of lashes). Then I was taken to a room upstairs which was cold, dark and not appealing at all. The lady doing my lashes hardly spoke to me throughout & about half way through I heard running up the stairs (the whole room shook constantly) and a dog being locked in a room opposite. Howling & barking then pursued for the remainder of my appointment. Not a nice experience. The lashes were hard and uncomfortable and started falling out a few days later. I also had my upper lip waxed for the first time while I was there, it would of been good if they would of told me my skin would be so red afterwards as I then had to do some xmas shopping whilst trying to hide my top lip! lol I am now booked in to a salon at the end of the month & I hope it will be nothing like the last time. read more
