BUYER BEWARE. I met with four different window companies. WinChoice was the second cheapest. I…read morefelt from the presentation the quality was better then the cheapest. So, I signed a contract with them November 27, 2018 for 12 new windows (2 sizes). So let me fill you in the craziness I've dealt with with Winchoice. January 21st was install day....the team of 4 shows up to install my windows (2 come inside to start prepping the inside and 2 begin removing screens and prepping the outside). About 30 minutes later is determined that EVERY ONE OF THE WINDOWS WILL NOT FIT. So they pack up, put screens back on (minus one it broke apart), re-measured (including taking pictures of the measuring tape for EACH measurement) and off they went. I was upset, so they sent me check for $100 for the inconvenience. Fast forward to March 13th (the new install day). A one man crew shows up to install my windows. As he is prepping, he discovers that one is mis-measured AGAIN! He installs 11 of the 12 windows (a two day process). I was quite ticked at this point. I'd missed 3 days of work and still had a window not installed. I spoke to CS rep, who told me that if the last window was not installed by the date of my first payment they would make my first payment. My first payment was due May 6th. Its currently July 17 and I still haven't received a payment. I contacted CS on May 6th and July 10th. Now let me back up a bit and explain that final install. They called me on a Tuesday and said we are available to install the final window Thursday. I assumed it was that Thursday and took a day off work ( I didn't pay attention to the date). About a half hour after the contractor was supposed to arrive I called CS to discover it was really the following Thursday. The CS rep was a little rude when she said I listened to the recording and it was clearly given a date....so no biggie I screwed that one up. A day or two before install of the final window, the contractor called and couldn't make it on Thursday and said he would be here on Saturday. My final window was installed on May 25 (a full six months after signing the contract). I love my windows now that they are installed. it was just a pain to get them installed.

Everything from using "notify anyway" when I have my DND engaged, to saying, in so many words, that I was not "Noble" if I wanted to enter their contest without buying their products first‍ Which, btw, mysteriously went from $25,000 to $16,000, then $17,000, I think. I think I might like to find the proverbial "hat" to see if my name makes it in! Willing to bet against that! I can't speak for their product, cuz if they think this kind of behavior is ok, I won't be finding out.....unless they're free!

Looking for estimates on a roof replacement. Funny, I never got one even though it was promised…read more In fact they never took any measurements at all. Damage was found and suggested I file a claim. Insurance was quick to respond, checks in the bank in a couple of days. The only redeeming factor for this roofing company is their install crew. They were hard working, organized and diligent on cleanup. Near Me Roofing Co. however was disorganized, lacked the ability to communicate and deceptive. They attempted to give me a lower grade shingle than priced by insurance. I'm sure the shingle would have been fine but not what I was paying for. I was told shingles would be hand nailed but were installed with air guns. Again, not a big problem just deceptive. Supplies arrived 3 days after scheduled day & only after I contacted the company. Install day and no installers. Around 1 pm someone did call and I learned they were finishing up another job. I was asked if they could squeeze me in? Guess they had rescheduled my job for the next day. Because no one measured the roof they ran short on shingles. It's disappointing to watch it rain on your unfinished roof. A few days later additional supplies arrived unannounced at 6 am blocking access to my car. We are on day 6 and still waiting for them to pick up the pallet of leftovers. I'm in my mid 70's and really grateful the grocery store is only a mile away. It's been the most chaotic roofing job I've ever been through. Basically they made the sale and communication stopped. While the installers did a really good job I would NEVER recommend this company.
