WOW! Could not be more impressed with the overall level of service I have received with this…read morecompany. After calling multiple home remodelers to come out for an estimate and none of them showed up, I asked a friend of mine if they knew of any reliable contractors and she told me to call Tri-State Aluminum. Not only did the salesman, Derrick, arrive early...he arrived the day I called. Instead of being overbearing and pushy like most remodelers, he politely listened to what I had to say and briefly interjected with examples or suggestions. He then walked me through the process, explaining the materials, the length of time and answered any questions I had. After all that, he still didn't pressure me to buy but did tell me that if for some reason he didn't get my business, to make sure that any contractor that does work for me is not only licensed, but insured as well. I didn't know that someone could be a contractor without those qualifications! He also said he would go back to his office, draw everything up and contact me with a price when everything was prepared. That afternoon, another contractor finally came out and tried to sign the contract within 15 minutes and kept interrupting me every time I had something to say. I finally said, ok, we'll look over the contract as soon as you show me you are licensed and insured. He wasn't and tried to tell me it wasn't necessary but he had 15 years experience! Well, needless to say, I went with Tri-State Aluminum and they did everything they said they would do and then some. They even fixed another issue I had without charging me for it. I will recommend them to anyone needing home remodeling services. And like Derrick told me his first visit, "All men are created equal, but not all contractors are" and "Remember, the best price ISN'T ALWAYS the cheapest." You get what you pay for and they were definitely worth it.

I contacted company within 30 days to explain problems. Waited several months before they came to correct. Correction left me in worse shape than original. I've attached 2 pics where you can see how uneven and the gap at the bottom. Now I have been waiting over a year to get it fixed. I have to put up separate fencing inside to contain my dogs. They were getting out underneath the gate. Kerry (the owner I think) won't acknowledge or respond to my requests any more. Real professional. Before you do business with this company, you might check out criminal history. Just a warning.

They had to cut a tree down to put my first fence up, and Kerry said they'd cut it up and haul it off, and that never happened. I called multiple times with no response, so I ended up cutting the tree and with help from a friend we hauled it off. That rating would have been a 1, but I wasn't going to waste my time, I was so disgusted. When I was ready to put up my next fence, I had forgotten that this company had been the one that didn't comply with my contract, but Kerry said he was doing things right, this time. He hired office employees, had a different crew, and was serious about making the business successful. I wasn't sure about giving him a second chance because my friend Becky had also had a bad experience with him on a gate that still hasn't been fixed. I gave it some thought, and decided to trust what he was saying. I gave him a deadline when I wanted the fence up, which put a push on him because he had other commitments as well. He communicated with me, and kept me up to date on when the fence would go up, and it didn't go up when I asked, but it wasn't his fault. It was due to the shipment from Dallas. The young man that Kerry hired as his supervisor, Ivan, was the most diligent, helpful, and respectful man I had the pleasure to work with. He was always a phone call away, or on site as the fence was going up. It was obvious that he was a professional, and knew what he was doing. That was very clear. He explained things, and made sure the job was done right. It was completed as promised, and I'm very happy with the fence. I can't say the same thing for the crew. One of them put a water bottle under some fake grass instead of putting it in the trash. I was not amused. One threw his cigarette butts in the yard, which I made him pick up. That was very disrespectful, in my opinion. And, there was metal left in the yard that I ran over with my lawnmower. Those I discussed with Ivan, and he assured me he would speak with the crew, and I trust that he did. It wasn't t easy for Ivan, because Kerry went on vacation, and Ivan was also overseeing an Amazon building site. But he never failed in his promises to me, and I respect him for that. Thank you, Ivan. Well done!
