The lyrics were only visible to the singer, not the audience, even though there were multiple screens available being used to advertise the karaoke company. When I sang, the lyrics for my song ("Don't You Forget About Me" by Simple Minds) were incorrect, and the microphone stand wouldn't stay in place. More concerning was how the hostess applied rules inconsistently. Some singers were allowed to put their names down again before performing, while I was told I could not. Later, my name was removed from the list and replaced with others ahead of me. Another patron also mentioned being skipped, which suggested favoritism. Overall, while the venue was enjoyable, the karaoke service felt poorly managed and unfair. Consistency and accurate equipment would make a big difference.
