Good, patient and friendly service! Dave is awesome! My only delay was getting parts, but that has nothing to do with D&F. Otherwise timely. Once Part came in the repair was done quickly. Labor rate seemed high to me, but I don't do this on the daily either. I had to leave my car after hours in a whiteout snow storm on a holiday weekend, sucks to be me right. This morning I got to my car to find something hanging down that would obviously drag, and began to panic as I was now going to be late for a 12 hour shift. I looked online and saw that they were open, but they actually weren't. The hours online were wrong and they were actually closed today; however, they still offered to help me! All they did was remove the hanging piece and give it to me, but this act of kindness meant so much to me! Next time I have to get my car fixed, I definitely will consider coming here. I am saddened to observe that the last two years of global and local lockdown have created problems with a place I USED to value for service. My automobile was towed in to the shop in October (last fall) when it would not drive correctly, leaked huge puddles of fluid from underneath, and then would not start. My request was to determine what the problem was, and that the vehicle needed inspection. Tony had said to bring the car in and he would make sure it was safe. The vehicle has had continual insurance coverage. There was no word until my daughter drove me to the shop and I ran into Dave. At that time I said I would like to have the problems fixed before spring, and to let me know what my account balance was. In the meantime, when I have communicated with Dave, he has continued to tell me to wait. After three weeks, I again contacted him, and was told to wait for him to contact me. Which I did. Again. During one of the early conversations with Dave, he confirmed there was trouble with the transmission. And then after all of this waiting, I WALKED all the way to the shop, only to be rudely treated by Tony. He attempted to slough the problem off on me by making me wait to talk to Dave again. I told him they were partners and he was the one to tell me to bring the car to the shop (back in October). THEN he informed me I owed the shop money (thanks, Dave, I said to look into that for me). I said why didn't you contact me, I haven't moved? Then it was "you pay me and I will fix your car." Then it was "don't pay just take the car" and lastly, "I will tow the car back." I refused to take the car (needed inspection, and HAD TO BE TOWED THERE back in October....) because best I can tell (besides driving an uninspected vehicle) the vehicle STILL WAS NOT FIXED! And now I have to wonder how much is the transmission job was faulty? or what is going on? BEATS ME. So I walked back home, and have been taking a break all week cause after all I aint no spring chicken. GREAT way to provide customer service to senior citizens! It is a couple days shy of a week later, and I sure am confused: Is the car getting fixed and inspected? or towed to the drive way? And how do I have a telephone conversation with the person who kicked me out of his business? I sure as h*ll aint WALKING BACK ANYTIME SOON!!! Any suggestions MIGHT be informative.... There are not many shops in the area, so this is very unsettling. Hope the partners can get their combined act together and get this business straightened out, which will be challenging because I am sick of interacting with them, and my CAR IS STILL THERE, INOPERABLE. Maybe I should just send them the title. C'mon, guys, wake up! CORRECTION ~~ according to today conversation with AAA, the vehicle was towed the end of AUGUST, last year, and it must be by October (which sticks in my mind) was when I seriously started wondering what was going on.... and believe me...more detailed than this review read more

They charge you more than what you think it costs and if you don't know mechanics they use you to get more money from you and they also provide used things they already doit to me before it took three months for my car .no recomend read more

My son attends college at SUNY Fredonia which is 8 hours away from home so needs his car. D&F has twice now come to the rescue, fixing his car quickly, without breaking the bank and being just so helpful and honest. They are a blessing to their community. read more

I brought my car in to get my tail light replaced and my AC fixed. When I went to go pick up my car, they didn't fix any of the problems, AND my windows, automatic locks, and convertible top no longer worked. When I told them this, they told me they'd have to call a Volkswagen specialist and keep my car for an extra few days, as they didn't know how to fix it, even though they were the ones who clearly broke it! They kept my car for over a week, and when I went to go pick it up for the second time, they fixed absolutely nothing, including the things I originally brought the car in for. Now my car is in worse shape than when I brought it in. I'm incredibly frustrated and do not recommend this place at all. read more
