The staff is amazing! They take the time to actually get to know you and help you in any way they can. I love the personal attention that I get and I always feel welcome to come in to the studio to practice. The system they use to teach dance with group classes, private lessons & parties is perfect. I love taking group classes where I can learn new steps at my level or review steps and technique at previous levels, while getting to know new people and talk to friends. The private lessons are where I can learn new steps, work more on skills that I'm having difficulty with, work on improving my technique or work on a new routine for a show or competition. The parties are the fun social time where I can practice what I've learned with a variety of dancers of all levels. This studio focuses on the joy of dancing, which is wonderful as she made my eldest fall in love with ballet. Candice and her team by far put on the most professional recitals I've seen in a long time. She has a knack for finding beautiful costumes. Nothing feels worse than paying a lot of money for a costume and it being ugly. Today, right after her morning class, my daughter took a 23-minute Uber ride there. She was scolded for being 3 minutes late and told never to return. In shock, she sobbed for half an hour outside before taking an Uber back to campus. The Uber cost a total of $33.90, the sadness was immeasurable. She loves working with kids, and her first job as a surf camp counselor this summer was wonderful. Having danced since she was a child, she was excited and looking forward to this position. What a heartbreaking, soul-crushing experience.

(Musical Theater 1, Musical Theater 2, tap 1, tap/ballet , jazz and HipHop)He went from a boy with anxiety to this confident performer. He was in his second musical Mary Poppins this past weekend. To see him perform with the biggest smile made me cry. He was confident and was so excited about the show. The show was AMAZING!!!!!!!!It's been great watching not just my son but many of the cast members just grow in theater. Thank You Mr.Frank and Mrs.Yesenia for bringing out the best in my son. He himself thanked them after the show for teaching him the songs and the choreography. All his teachers are all wonderful , Mrs.Megan , Miss. Larissa, Miss. Jenna, Miss. Since the class has been practicing for a few months Andrew felt discouraged since they were already learning the song that they will be performing on the summer showcase. After trying the class he didn't want to continue since he was just starting and felt lost. Miss Jack told him she sees his talent and he can do it. She told him to come back the next week and try again. He tried again and he felt that he couldn't do it. Miss.Jack told him to think about it , she believes in him, if he still don't feel comfortable he can enroll after the summer showcase and start from the beginning. She was very sweet to him. On our way home he decided he wanted to continue!!! His words " mom , Miss.Jack believes in me. I want to take her class , I can do it " He's doing amazing. She knew how much he did want to take her class and encouraged him. I can't wait to see him on stage in June for the summer showcase. I also want to give a shout out to the parent volunteers.They're very helpful, it was so nice to hear from them how Andrew has grown so much in theater. Another shout out to Kyle , the front receptionist for being helpful and answering my million questions haha. Us parents don't just cheer for our kids we cheer for all the kids. I am thankful I found Valverde. They have help mold my son in this confident , happy , positive young performer. Can't wait to see him continue growing in theater !!
