We have been a part of this wonderful studio for performance arts for the past 8 years. It has…read moremeant so much to both of my girls as both dance student and employee. Both girls have grown in maturity and grace under the direction of Ms. Sandra and Ms. Ariel, co-owners. Focus is placed on development of the whole person at PAE. Each one is treated with dignity and value not just in what the studio can gain from the dancer enrolled, but also in what the individual student can gain for his or herself. Dance technique is a major focus but so is working towards being a better person in lots of ways (ie. commitment, work ethic, and kindness). My girls are genuinely loved and this has benefited not only them, but our whole family. Many kinds of dance is offered here (call for specifics) from basic/beginner instruction to advanced. A recital is given in June to show off to family and friends each dancers hard work. They offer a Troupe that performs for community and charity events as well as a competition Company (by audition) for the more serious dancer. Emphasis is given to each Company member supporting and encouraging their fellow dancers while working towards and exhibiting each one's personal best. If you are looking for a family-friendly studio that has high standards, is modest as well as contemporary, Performing Arts Empire is worth investigating. I understand that not every class will go perfectly, especially with a 3-year-old who may not want to participate, but I was disappointed by several things that were within the facility and staff's control. The carpet was extremely dirty and heavily stained, which was especially concerning because the kids are walking around barefoot. I understand it's a kids' facility, but the cleanliness really stood out. Since it was our first time, we also didn't know what to expect. There wasn't much instruction or interaction from the instructors. The instructor demonstrated the different stations, but the parents were expected to do each station with their child, which we weren't aware of beforehand. My daughter wasn't interested in participating, and I was struggling to get her involved. I was really hoping an instructor would step in and try to engage or encourage her, but no one did. At one point, my dad was encouraging her to try the bar, and one of the instructors stood at the gate with her arms crossed and repeatedly shook her head "no" at him. That interaction was especially disappointing and made us feel very unwelcome. We ended up leaving halfway through the class. I understand my daughter not wanting to participate contributed to the experience, but I expected more encouragement and support from the instructors, especially for a 3-year-old's first class. Unfortunately, between the cleanliness and the staff interaction, I left feeling very disappointed.

My son has been going to Valverde for 2 years. He started taking musical theater 1. He decided he…read morewanted to take more classes and improve his skills. He's now taking 6 classes!! (Musical Theater 1, Musical Theater 2, tap 1, tap/ballet , jazz and HipHop)He went from a boy with anxiety to this confident performer. He was in his second musical Mary Poppins this past weekend. To see him perform with the biggest smile made me cry. He was confident and was so excited about the show. The show was AMAZING!!!!!!!!It's been great watching not just my son but many of the cast members just grow in theater. Thank You Mr.Frank and Mrs.Yesenia for bringing out the best in my son. He himself thanked them after the show for teaching him the songs and the choreography. All his teachers are all wonderful , Mrs.Megan , Miss. Larissa, Miss. Jenna, Miss. Jack , thank you ALL for not giving up on my son. A special shout out to Miss. Jack. Andrew wanted to try tap. Since the class has been practicing for a few months Andrew felt discouraged since they were already learning the song that they will be performing on the summer showcase. After trying the class he didn't want to continue since he was just starting and felt lost. Miss Jack told him she sees his talent and he can do it. She told him to come back the next week and try again. He tried again and he felt that he couldn't do it. Miss.Jack told him to think about it , she believes in him, if he still don't feel comfortable he can enroll after the summer showcase and start from the beginning. She was very sweet to him. On our way home he decided he wanted to continue!!! His words " mom , Miss.Jack believes in me. I want to take her class , I can do it " He's doing amazing. She knew how much he did want to take her class and encouraged him. I can't wait to see him on stage in June for the summer showcase. I also want to give a shout out to the parent volunteers.They're very helpful, it was so nice to hear from them how Andrew has grown so much in theater. Another shout out to Kyle , the front receptionist for being helpful and answering my million questions haha. Us parents don't just cheer for our kids we cheer for all the kids. I am thankful I found Valverde. They have help mold my son in this confident , happy , positive young performer. Can't wait to see him continue growing in theater !! She makes it a dance party atmosphere, keeping your spirits high and motivated throughout. Any defense against a strict aerobic exercise routine will fade away within a few minutes, and you'll enjoy yourself as you never thought you could in a gym class. All of her dance choreography, line dances & music selections are always LIT & FIRE She embodies PURE JOY, a radiant LIGHT & SMILE & she's an inspiration to me & everyone she encounters! Many of my guests really enjoyed her ZUMBA & salsa dance lessons. Most of all, they said she was very easy to follow! So my family and I took a trip to come see Disney Newsies play at the CAT because my cousin is the…read morecostume designer and makeup artist for the cast. I wasn't sure what to expect and actually thought the venue would be smaller. The theater is located in the Corona civic center close to the police station and city hall. There are plenty of parking in on the streets and also int he civic center. You can park there on weekends which is a plus. The cast is so talented and range from ages 8 to 18 all from local schools in the area. The set design was amazing and transported you to the slums of NY in 1899. Costumes and makeup were a hit, too. I thought that adults were also in the play but it was just make-up. The transformations of these kids was pretty cool to see. The singing and dancing was perfection too. You can tell these kids worked hard to put on a production like that. BRAVO! Inside the theater, they sell merchandise for each play and also snacks to enjoy during intermission. You can also buy grams to send to your favorite star in the show which I thought was pretty cool. Everyone working the concessions and doors were great. everyone was so friendly and welcoming to their space. They are having another show in July, Moana Jr. which I really want to go see. it will be my personal birthday gift for myself. Till next time CAT! NOTE: Make sure to bring a sweater even on a hot day. The theater gets really cold inside especially in the back corners.
