I love this place! I've been taking dance lessons here for almost 9 years and I've learned so much. Dancing has become my passion, my stress reliever at the end of a long day & my chance to hang out with friends while having fun. The staff is amazing! They take the time to actually get to know you and help you in any way they can. I love the personal attention that I get and I always feel welcome to come in to the studio to practice. The system they use to teach dance with group classes, private lessons & parties is perfect. I love taking group classes where I can learn new steps at my level or review steps and technique at previous levels, while getting to know new people and talk to friends. The private lessons are where I can learn new steps, work more on skills that I'm having difficulty with, work on improving my technique or work on a new routine for a show or competition. The parties are the fun social time where I can practice what I've learned with a variety of dancers of all levels. During the parties, when I'm not dancing, I like to watch the more advanced dancers and instructors dance. The instructors were amazing! Super friendly and lovely and fun to be around. My (ex) boyfriend and i decided to take some dance classes and came across this studio, we checked it out and absolutely loved it. They teach you step by step and work with your schedule. Although it is kind of pricey for the amount of time the lessons are given, it is something fun to do either alone or with your significant other. I might as well call this place my second home. I've been dancing here since August (7 months) and I feel like I've been a part of this group for years. The staff are very knowledgeable and know what and why they teach you the way they do. You have to learn the alphabet before you can start spelling right? I came here not knowing a thing about ballroom dancing. But because of the attention and detail they put into the private and group lessons, I am now enjoying competing in such dances. RIP OFF!!! Go here only if you do not mind spending a ton of money to learn very little and very slowly. I came to this place because of convenience. Because it's close to home. I spend over $500 and didn't even dance one full song. The lesson did not fell like they where really for me since you share a lesson space with another lesson. It's very boring and all they want is your money. The packaged I got included 4 social dance parties "so they say" after I told them I wouldn't even go to that because I was not enjoying my lessons at all they didn't care or question me. Why? Because I payed already so they didn't care. Please don't make the same mistake I made. Do your research, there is so many awesome places in IE to learn and it's even free. I now go to Sevilla for my salsa and bachata lessons. And I also go to UCR for lessons. UCR has a swing dance club and they also teach salsa and bachata. Open to everyone for FREE!!!! We go almost every day & if you break down the cost of tuition for the group classes & private lessons it really is reasonable. Anything you do that is good has a price but you have to make the most of it. Practice, practice, practice! Our talented instructors have to make a living & be rewarded for their skills just like any career! We are retired & will continue to participate as long as we are able. The private lessons teach you so much about your frame (posture) & give you tips that some times are so easy you wonder why you didn't think of it yourself. I stopped taking dance lessons as it was hard to make 7:30pm dance classes when I was on Movie shoots in the LA area - then later moved to the LA area. Tonight was my first time coming to this dance studio(I've been to one other) and the experience was truly Remarkable. From the get go, everyone was extremely nice and approachable. I came in with the desire to learn salsa basics and left wanting to expand my dancing experience to competing(maybe in the future). I had been dancing for about a year at some Latin clubs doing their group lessons and I wanted a place that could give me the private lessons I needed to refine my technique, skill, and more knowledge of the dances I was interested in learning. My first impressions were great some of the friendliest people I've gotten the chance to meet work here they are great about helping you get the technique down and guiding you every step of the way incredible patience as well. What really impressed me was that they have lots of free group classes or "party" time and everyone there is helpful at showing you those dances as well such as foxtrot or the hustle! Just starting here but feels like it's going to be a great journey also they have couches it has an atmosphere of you just want a place to hangout you can read or chat and make new friends. 5 stars because positive atmosphere, knowledgeable instructors all certified and work with you to have a financial plan to continue your lessons. read more

While the people are nice {Owners} I would not recommend this school. See I had paid for 12 privet lessons so I could learn to dance. But instead of teaching me a whole dance, what they did was GIVE A SAMPLE (the very very basic) OF A FEW DIFFERENT DANCES , BUT NOT ENOUGH TO ACTUALLY BE ABLE TO GO OUT DANCING. Then after 3 privet lessons and 1 intake lesion to see my skill level, they sat me down saying that I need to buy more lessons to be able to learn how to do a complete dance. They basically said after a year of lessons that I would be skilled at dancing. Then I find out that I had been scammed, that I did not pay for 12 lessons that the money I gave them was for 4 privet lessons and access to go to their parties or group classes. Which by the way I went to 1 of their parties only because they would not stop hounding me to go. I was VERY disappointed, it felt more like a very low budget elementary school dance with mostly girls. There were only two other guys at this so called party, and the instructor making three men in total. At this so called party I had to wait until the instructor asked me to dance to actually dance. I did not want to dance because I felt it was as I said a very low budget elementary school dance. However, to be polite I just said I was uncomfortable because I was not used to wearing dresses. Which by the way, most of the people were wearing street clothes that they looked like you would wear to go to the post office, not clothes you would wear to go to a dance. They did however, I think had cookies and water if you wanted a snack and something to drink because I saw someone eating a cookie. They had better food and drinks at my JR high school dance when I was in grade school. I also went to one of their group lessons only because again I was hounded to go to one. The only reason why I stayed for the group lesion was because I had just finished my privet lesion. But again I was very dissatisfied with the group lesion. Actually I learned more with the group instructor then I had in 2 previous privet lessons with the owner, but despite learning more with the group, it still was not enough to be able to go out dancing. However, it was only 2 other students and the group and the instructor who was really nice, but still it felt very overpriced. I had even called a few other schools and went in for other intakes with other schools, and they also agreed I over paid for what they were teaching at this school. I wish I had gone with a different dance school, and I would not recommend this school to anyone. I highly recommend you go with a different school altogether, unless you have thousands of dollars to actually learn a complete dance. I hate to have to write such a poor review of this school, because the people seemed so nice, but I guess scam artists have to be nice. Otherwise they would never fool anyone into giving them money in the first place. I was recently asked to dance, and when they started to change directions I started to step on their toes. They had asked me how come I was not taught the basics. I told this person that was what I learned the basics, but they told me if I had learned the basics I would not be stepping on their toes when they changed directions. So I paid a whole lot of money to dance in a box and nothing more. I am very unhappy. It was a waste of money and now I will have to pay another dance school money just to actually learn how to do even 1 full dance. read more
