This studio focuses on the joy of dancing, which is wonderful as she made my eldest fall in love with ballet. There are no toxic vibes here and their performance team celebrates the kids and let's them have fun at really amazing places. Candice and her team by far put on the most professional recitals I've seen in a long time. She has a knack for finding beautiful costumes. Nothing feels worse than paying a lot of money for a costume and it being ugly. You can tell that Candice and her team put their heart and soul in encouraging the love of dance, the kids, and having fun.

The staff is amazing! They take the time to actually get to know you and help you in any way they can. I love the personal attention that I get and I always feel welcome to come in to the studio to practice. The system they use to teach dance with group classes, private lessons & parties is perfect. I love taking group classes where I can learn new steps at my level or review steps and technique at previous levels, while getting to know new people and talk to friends. The private lessons are where I can learn new steps, work more on skills that I'm having difficulty with, work on improving my technique or work on a new routine for a show or competition. The parties are the fun social time where I can practice what I've learned with a variety of dancers of all levels. During the parties, when I'm not dancing, I like to watch the more advanced dancers and instructors dance. This gives me the opportunity to see what new things I can look forward to learning with the dances I currently working on or new dances that I might want to add to my program. Our second year competing was with K2, and the growth we've seen since then has been phenomenal. I have two girls who both compete and train here, and the training they receive is truly exceptional. The studio has clear rules that create a safe, structured environment, and as a parent, I appreciate the direction and consistency. They also re-evaluate and assess students regularly to ensure they're placed in the right classes, which shows how much they care about proper development. The technique taught at K2 is simply outstanding--far beyond what I've seen elsewhere. On top of that, they offer a wide variety of classes and training options, which is a huge bonus. Overall, I cannot say enough about the quality of instruction, the supportive environment, and the incredible growth my daughters have experienced here.

This dance studio was very much a big part of their childhood and I always wondered - when they were still in dance- if it was worth it because we drove an hour away to go to this dance studio 5-6 days a week. I always wondered what if they give up dance... why am I driving so far? Yes, it was worth it. My kids gave up dance, if COVID didn't happen, they would still be in dance because this studio is amazing!!! You can't measure the worth of an activity for your kids solely due to them continuing on in college or adulthood. You have to realize what values they are learning. My kids left here learning that it takes consistency and hard work to learn a new skill, to be kind and forgiving to themselves and others, to believe in themselves, and so much more because of the trust, respect and dedication the dance owner, dance instructors, dancers and parents put into this studio. All three kids did dance competitions. The instruction here is top notch. Every kid gets dance corrections. Every kid will learn the dance. The instructors really instruct. All the dances are kid appropriate. All the costumes are kid appropriate. Some studios have children in skimpy costumes. Not here. They focus on the kids learning how to actually dance. This studio does produce dancers that go on to college for dance and beyond - while keeping an inviting environment. My kids do not have anything negative to say about this studio. They have very fond memories of Ms Jamie, Mrs. Reese, Ms Debbie, Ms Maria, Ms Danielle and so many more. All the teachers are amazing. They are very patient with the students to really get the best dancer out of every person. I've watched from the littles all the way up to the adults and amazed at what they can bring out of people. Please know that their kids classes are fun but they actually teach technique. While it's great to see little ones in tutus, it's amazing to see that they are actually learning form and not just playing dress up. I've encountered a lot of parents who say how uncomfortable they are at other studios because teachers or parents are unwelcoming but that is not the case here. The environment in the whole studio is very inclusive no matter age or gender and I LOVE THAT! Their shows are top notch. Their professionalism and kindness is unmatched. This was our home away from home. It will be sorely missed.

At Define, you'll find teachers who care about their students growth, not only in the area of dance, but in their academics, health, and emotional well-being. In the single year my daughter has been there, she's grown tremendously as a competitive dancer, she's made amazing friendships, and has really matured and blossomed. The other dance moms are welcoming and supportive of one another's children. It's truly a family. The competition team is super competitive and teachers challenge their students through choreography, musicality, style, and storytelling. They also offer great performance options even if your child is not interested in competition team. The studio is bright and energetic. And most of all, it's a second home for the dancers. The one thing that sums up our Define experience are words my daughter told me after I picked her up from class, "Mom, when I'm at the studio, I'm home. I'm loved. I'm challenged and I feel like myself." What more can a parent ask for?
