I have always been proud to be at Bre Dance Studio. My favorite classes to take are adult jazz and ballet with Mr Cliff and Modern with Ro. I'm looking forward to trying adult tap soon! Come give it a try. Bre is amazing!

@bredanceriverside is NOT a safe place for kids‼…read more The owners are highly aware of the numerous concerns by staff members, parents, and students of the inappropriate, abusive, hostile, and sexual misconduct by one of the owners. The artistic director and his business partner have received these documented reports but refuse to take accountability and instead have turned to manipulative rhetoric for the purpose of managing yet another crisis. The Artistic Director has internalized these reports as a form of personal attack since he also has been complacent of his partner's behavior. This studio has been in a financial crisis for a really long time partly due to to bad business management. A group of volunteers, I was included, decided that we wanted to help this studio that has been in a crisis because of the community of dancers that had been there. We didn't want to see it go away but we knew it was inevitable if no one stepped in. We stepped in. We planned. We increased the services provided at the studio and we increased their revenue. As volunteers, we were working for free, and when we did get paid we agreed to get paid less than minimum wage in order to help sustain the studio and help these two fellas out during their financial struggles. During all of this, we began to experience verbal abuse, harassment, bullying, and one of the owners sent me a text message sexualizing an adult dancer when she was a minor, making jokes about child molestation to me, coming to work intoxicated and leading to him yelling and cursing at me for cleaning his studio because he didn't want cleaning products wasted, walking into women's restroom without permission, and then the worst part came..... we began receiving a plethora of complaints from parents and students regarding sexual misconduct, harassment, bullying, and other forms of abuse. When presenting the documented reports, both owners had agreed that it would be best for the main perpetrator to work from home instead of being the face of the studio due to the plethora of reports of abuse. Eventually, the artistic director decided that these documented reports were JUST WORDS and OUT OF PROPORTION. The Artistic Director brought back the main perpetrator and began shutting out those who had made the reports and had provided a platform to the victims. They don't care about safety. Big egos with no interest in taking accountability. I'm also NOT the first nor the last person who is going to come forward with horrific stories of these two owners.

At Define, you'll find teachers who care about their students growth, not only in the area of dance, but in their academics, health, and emotional well-being. In the single year my daughter has been there, she's grown tremendously as a competitive dancer, she's made amazing friendships, and has really matured and blossomed. The other dance moms are welcoming and supportive of one another's children. It's truly a family. The competition team is super competitive and teachers challenge their students through choreography, musicality, style, and storytelling. They also offer great performance options even if your child is not interested in competition team. The studio is bright and energetic. And most of all, it's a second home for the dancers. The one thing that sums up our Define experience are words my daughter told me after I picked her up from class, "Mom, when I'm at the studio, I'm home. I'm loved. I'm challenged and I feel like myself." What more can a parent ask for?

Besides, S-Factor was too expensive, too strict with their schedule and too durn far from me. A friend discovered this place and we both decided to take the intro class together. Compared to the intro class offered at S-Factor, we did so much more in our intro class at FMTB. I remember we only learned one spin/pole trick at S-Factor, while at FMTB, we learned 3 poses and 4 spins and had the opportunity to free-style in front of the class for an entire song. You can choose to pay $35 per class or save some $$ by purchasing a package. We opted for the unlimited monthly package for $199. Pole classes are offered during the evenings from Monday to Wednesday and Lap/Chair dance classes are offered on Thursday evenings. If you take every class, you are definitely getting your money's worth! Class sizes vary, but the most I've ever experience was 14 students at one time. All the girls are very encouraging and come in different shapes, sizes and athletic abilities. If you're a bit of an exhibitionist or as my instructor called me, "naturally bold", this class is definitely for YOU!

I reached out on Monday, February 5th and received a response almost immediately stating I would be reached out to the next day after they confirmed availability. On Tuesday, February 6 I asked for an update after not hearing back and confirmed the number of people for my party. I was asked to provide information I had already provided and then received no response. On Wednesday, February 7 I asked again for an update. I got a response that they had just received confirmation on availability for the date I had requested and I was asked if I was available in the morning to get book over the phone to which I replied of course. I didn't hear anything on Thursday, February 8. On Friday, February 9 I asked for an update on booking the party and asked if there was another company that might be able to accommodate our group if they were unable. I got no response. On Monday, February 12 I followed up one last time to schedule a party and received no reponse. I have no idea how their classes or parties are, but I would not waste my time attempting to book with them as their customer service and booking experience is absolutely awful.

Fast teacher! But that's not always bad. Thankful for this weeks improvements. Update from below negative review. Daughters went to number two day of four only to watch from the rear of the class a more advanced class combined with hers practice their routine. Unless they have some awesome fix for this program which I will post if they do, don't waste a single penny on this place!! I never know when someone negative review on here is some personality issue with this business but the negative reviews for this business are pretty right on. First day of summer class through the City of Riverside Parks and Rec and the class is combined with a class of familiar student not on their first day. Poor design, wouldn't recommend for the first time dancer and especially first timer here at this studio. The teacher isn't bad, just a big learning curve for summer participants.

All three of my kids- 2 daughters and 1 son - went here. This dance studio was very much a big part of their childhood and I always wondered - when they were still in dance- if it was worth it because we drove an hour away to go to this dance studio 5-6 days a week. I always wondered what if they give up dance... why am I driving so far? Yes, it was worth it. My kids gave up dance, if COVID didn't happen, they would still be in dance because this studio is amazing!!! You can't measure the worth of an activity for your kids solely due to them continuing on in college or adulthood. You have to realize what values they are learning. My kids left here learning that it takes consistency and hard work to learn a new skill, to be kind and forgiving to themselves and others, to believe in themselves, and so much more because of the trust, respect and dedication the dance owner, dance instructors, dancers and parents put into this studio. All three kids did dance competitions. The instruction here is top notch. Every kid gets dance corrections. Every kid will learn the dance. The instructors really instruct. All the dances are kid appropriate. All the costumes are kid appropriate. Some studios have children in skimpy costumes. Not here. They focus on the kids learning how to actually dance. This studio does produce dancers that go on to college for dance and beyond - while keeping an inviting environment. My kids do not have anything negative to say about this studio. They have very fond memories of Ms Jamie, Mrs. Reese, Ms Debbie, Ms Maria, Ms Danielle and so many more. Thank you guys for creating such positive memories with my kids and allowing us to be part of your dance family.

All the teachers are amazing. They are very patient with the students to really get the best dancer out of every person. I've watched from the littles all the way up to the adults and amazed at what they can bring out of people. Please know that their kids classes are fun but they actually teach technique. While it's great to see little ones in tutus, it's amazing to see that they are actually learning form and not just playing dress up. I've encountered a lot of parents who say how uncomfortable they are at other studios because teachers or parents are unwelcoming but that is not the case here. The environment in the whole studio is very inclusive no matter age or gender and I LOVE THAT! Their shows are top notch. Their professionalism and kindness is unmatched. This was our home away from home. It will be sorely missed.

Finding one with quality instruction and great owner/operators like this is REALLY a rare gem! 1) From the front desk to the dance floor with GREAT instructors, this place is PROPERLY staffed! 2) The facility is beautiful, functional, and equipped. Classes are fully separated, sound systems are great, and they keep the studios nice and COOL even in the summer for all the hours you'll be sweating it out while you learn. 3) Class format and teaching style is second to none to get you to your goals fast, and learn more progressively, to build competence and confidence. 4) If you need to change before or after work, there are even ample restrooms (which are very clean) for the volume of customers they have before and after class. There's even a professional scheduling/enrollment/payment system for classes. What's the alternative to this place? Big name chains, you KNOW who they are. Cramped JUMBO single-studio room with 2-5 classes happening in the same room, packed over crowded floors you can't even move around on treating you like you're cattle, different genres of music shooting out of cheap floor speakers from all directions of people learning different material concurrently in the same room, sweating it out in 90 degree rooms where they frequently claim the air conditioning is broken to keep their utilities/overhead low. You can't make this stuff up folks lol. I've been to 4 separate studios in the Inland Empire in the last 5 years besides this place, and I SWEAR all of these things have been re-concurring themes in our community. Some were chains, some were not. Arthur Murray was born in 1895 and so were some of these places, that's all I'm going to say lol.
