Lovers leap is such an incredibly peaceful trail!…read more My husband and I hiked Lovers Leap early on a Sunday morning last weekend and enjoyed every minute of it. The silence was so loud if that makes sense. The farther we went onto the trail, it began to intersect with other trails and we began to cross paths with bikers, other hikers, and runners. It was pretty cool to see a community of fellow nature lovers enjoying the environment.

Decent amount of activities to do like several playgrounds for the kids and full basketball court and volleyball and horseshoes. McDonald's and the grocery store Brookshire's nearby. The lending library is near the pavilion.

In my opinion, there could have been more ride operators. Even though some of the rides were running, we had to wait for operators to run another ride, then switch to the one my kid wanted to ride. The train was cute. It smelled like gas exhaust the whole way, but it has a nice big track, and they take them around twice. The putt putt could have used a bit of shade on the yellow course, but it was nice that there were 3 courses. Too bad everyone wanted to play the shady course, so we all had to wait for big parties to finish between holes. This park could use some updating but it's great for small children.

When me & my little brother & my mom went there the first time. I thought we were going to have a…read moregood time having fun in this place, but I was partially wrong. For starters, some of the games here were expensive like 3 or more dollars to play. Like for the Daytona USA game, it costs $3.05 for one play. Which isn't enough since mostly people don't properly know how to play this game. Plus there are screen burns in two of the Daytona USA machines that you may see without having to look closely. The pricing of the racing game is the same as The House of The Dead: Scarlet Dawn, which is $3.05 & only gives you one play. Basically there are weapons you can choose when you start the game, which you can choose the ones that are useful or useless, which I think basically is what make this game expensive. But that doesn't mean you only get one play because of the weapons you can select, it's about the pricing of the game that only gives you one try. I would recommend lowering the price down in order for people to have more fun with the gameplay. I'm not really sure for the rest of the pricing of all the arcades, but I just recommend the owner dropping the prices of the machines. Since I'm done with the price thing, let's move on with the quality of the arcade machines. For the confidential mission one. The quality & the screen is great, but the guncon just doesn't seem to work properly. The Aim shown in the screen shakes violently even though you're holding the gun calmly. For the Star Wars arcade racer game, the screen isn't properly lit up & you can barely see what you're doing & where you're going. The rest is fine. For the house of the dead 4, the screen isn't lit up properly & the guncon barely works. The rest is fine. For my overall response, I did like this place a bit, but I just recommend fixing some troubleshooting from some arcade games, decrease the price of each play, & increase the quality of some arcade games. Response to owner: Thanks for reading my comment & responding to it. I don't think I may be able to go there at the weekdays since I rarely go there, but thanks for reading my comment & making sure to fix any troubleshooting machines. Will come more excited next time.
