Have problems with your patio door opening and closing? We did and had two choices. Do it ourselves or hire someone to do the job for us. We had Roadrunner come out and give us an estimate. They said they could replace the rollers on our patio door. I was surprised at the cost of the rollers but the price they gave was close to the same price on the internet. They sent one technician out and said he had to return with the parts. They spent about 1 hour changing out the rollers and track. The door now works better than when it was new. The technician was polite and performed the job perfectly. Also, checked the lock, and made adjustments. It also works better now. I would go to this company as my first choice in the future. Hiring the job done rather than DIY was the best choice. Saved me a lot of agony trying to get the right parts and taking the door out multiple times. Not something I wanted to do at my age. Received there Quote which is excessive, $500.00 Labor each Door for installation which is ridiculously High, Also packed there Quote with a $300.00 Each Charge for Custom Order which they are not Custom, Avoid these guys! I would not recommend this company. I had someone measure my shower for a new glass door over two weeks ago...I'm still waiting for the door to be installed. When I called last week to inquire about my order I was told they forgot to order it because of low staffing. I was then told it would be ordered right away. I contracted with Roadrunner Glass on a Monday to come out and measure for a window that had lost its seal and was hazy. I was told the glass would be installed Wednesday. They said noon but it was 3 by the time the guy got there. The glass was cut wrong so he had to leave and said he's put a rush on the replacement. Today is Wednesday (a week later) and they are supposed to install it today the appointment was for 1:00 but now it's shifted to 2:00. Pretty poor responsiveness. This place is a joke! I initially went to visit their office and was greeted by a pleasant man who set up an appointment to have my dining table top measured because I was interested in getting a glass top for it. He set up for someone to come measure my table and I was then emailed a qoute. This was in December and I got busy with the holidays so I didn't get to confirm and place my order until now. When I called them and gave them my estimate number they said they needed to come back down to get another measurement of my table and had someone come measure it. I then called to place my order and AFTER giving my card number Susan tells me that this doesn't include the $50 delivery fee. This completely through me off guard because this was never mentioned before and should have been in the estimate they emailed me. Her rebuttal was that most of the time people come pick up their orders. Ummm why would you assume that??? This option was never presented to me. That's like an auto glass shop assuming your going to pick up your own windshield? There obviously needs to be some care and handling involved in delivering and placing the table top. I just can't come get it and throw it in the back of my sedan ‍. So then I requested to speak with the manager; She (Tina) did not even give me an opportunity to speak and just rudely said we already did you a favor by coming to measure your table.... ok once again... I'm not a glass expert but I would imagine that the company would come measure. Anyways there were just way too many reasons for me to decide to not proceed with my order. I am very disappointed. I called to get prices on some glass to cover my desk. The lady on the phone was not helpful, borderline rude or seemed bothered by my call and expected me to know all about glass. I told her I am a plumber and don't know about glass that is why I called you for information and pricing. She used industry jargon and I had to probe her for information on what it meant, in fact I had to probe her for everything. I am glad their business is doing so well in this economy because with customer phone skills like that I wont use them. I asked for a price anyway but even if they are the cheapest I will not buy form them because of this phone call and I am happy to take my money elsewhere. I will gladly drive to Brentwood or Livermore to pay the same or more. p.s. I called Herandez Glass in Brentwood 925-513-3097 and received a price that was less then half the cost which includes a $10 fee for delivery to my house than another Brentwood company.
