AMAZING! I'm very picky about pizza and I drove 2 1/2 hours for it and it was worth it!! Fast service and fresh. Cute little patio to bring my dog and clean.

D'Amore's Famous Pizza is fantastic. From one Joe to another your pizza is fantastic and you are a truly great guy. This area was hit hard in 25 and it's still on the comeback, but Joe and D'Amores is still here making great pizza. Thank you for showing me around the your spot. Great pizza, great guy 5 stars!

drive all the way from the Valley just to get pizza from this place -- that's how special it is. Incredible pizza, incredible owner, and an experience that keeps me coming back every time. Truly the best.

I stumbled upon this place when trying to find food around the beach in Malibu. It's in a cute little plaza with outdoor seating and a beautiful fountain. I've gotten their Pepperoni, Cheese, and Meat Lovers Pizzas and haven't been disappointed! It's a great place for a quick stop to pick up an order and take-out or dine outside. There are no indoor seats. Many thanks D'Amores! Note: There are few bathrooms around this area, but you're able to go to the Pavilions mart nearby if needed.

We were on vacation in Los Angeles and wanted to come to Nobu and have a midday snack. As we parked our car, we noticed this pizza place across the street. After having drinks and some appetizers that were overpriced with mediocre quality, we decided to save our appetite and pockets and head over to the pizza place we saw. So happy we did! The two gentlemen working there were very friendly, we talked about them preparing a big order and he even gave us a garlic roll to sample. We got a couple slices of pizza, just the way youd picture it, on a thin paper plate, foldable, the real New York style. We grabbed it to go and headed back into the city, this was the best way to fill our tummies. Will be back!

The sign that marks the spot and drew me in!

Driving down PCH got drawn by a sign reading "World Famous Pizza" and now I know why! I busted a U-Turn to find my way back and am so glad I did! I immediately saw it was a very popular location amongst celebrities with all the pictures of those who have visited along the wall. I ordered the Meat Lover's slice and it was AMAZING!!! Big huge slice with enough of each and every topping. Beyond fresh as well! The crust was thin enough to not over stuff but crispy and sturdy enough to sustain the hefty fresh ingredients. As I received I got a chance to meet Joe (the owner). He was beyond welcoming and inviting as he took the moment to stop what he was doing to genuinely connect with me asking where I was from and how I came across the place. He shared with me the lengths he goes to get fresh ingredients from Naples (just the way his grandma would). When I complimented the pizza after taking a h bite he humbly replied, "Don't thank me, thank my grandma. (Pointing up to a pick of her and him). These are all her recipes." As I enjoyed my slice I saw Joe make the effort to connect with each and every guest and genuinely get to know them. On my way out he addressed me by name and wished me a great Easter and invited me to return. He was also gracious enough to advise me to be careful with the speed limit on PCH as they been cracking down on speeders along the highway. What a great guy! I see that it's not just the pizza that is world famous but his GENUINE hospitality to go along with it! Shout out to his cooks too who where busy hustling-and-bustling with big order after big order of multiple pizzas. Come pay D'amores/Joe a visit, enjoy a GREAT slice or pie and pay homage to his grandma! Cheers! WHAT A GEM!!!

    Tiramisu

Great pizza always stop in to pickup a pie real back east crust that holds up on itself, but today I thought I would try a dessert bought a tiramisu the size was bigger than most you get at most restaurants and the taste was amazing it's a must to finish off the pizza.

Some of the best pizza I've had. We always come and get a pizza slice when we are in Malibu.

We stumbled on D'Amores pizza and immediately fell in love with their delicious pizza and friendly staff. Definitely recommended to anyone cruising down the PCH. Real New York style pizza. Plus you get a good view of the beach from here.

We stopped in Malibu a few weeks ago to grab lunch and found this little gem. The pizza was some of the best we've had! The owner mentioned he uses his grandmother's recipe and imports all of the ingredients (even the water) from Italy. No wonder it tasted so good!

Absolutely amazing in every aspect!! Food is phenomenal. Service was fast and perfect. We had a freshly baked 18 inch, 12 slice pepperoni pizza pie and a garden salad. Great timing for our lunch.. we got to meet the owner Joe D'Amore who walked up just after we ordered. Recognized him immediately from the pics on the walls. He is friendly and even brought our lunch to us. Great afternoon lunch with most of my family, fantastic food, our new friend Joe, and a world class view of the Pacific Ocean. Thank you Joe and D'Amore's Pizza for an amazing lunch. Best pizza in America. God bless America

The view of the ocean is nice, the breeze is cooling, and there's no yucky fishy smell you might think you'd smell at the pier. My boyfriend and I got there and she told us to wait for a table to open up then she would seat us; however, we looked and saw multiple tables open and she even sat another party who came after us. We had to ask another server if we could be seated and they seated us shortly after. Vibes: you sit pretty close to other parties and there are a lot of tables in the area. Volume level is fairly loud because of all the people, but it's not an overwhelming loud. Gets busy around brunch/lunch time. On the cuff of being a nicer place to eat in terms of vibes, but because it is near the beach it does feel more chill. Food: I had the build your own fish taco and the Swedish mini pancakes. For the price that I paid, neither was worth it. The fish was kind of dry and flavorless and the best thing about that dish were the veggies. The mini pancakes got mushy quick, so these definitely should be eaten sooner rather than later. The syrup and fruits atop the pancakes were extremely sweet and the dish overall left my stomach feeling heavy. Unfortunately this place is an overpriced tourist trap.

This week we hit our limit, and are thinking of canceling our membership. The waiters act as though you should be serving them and it usually takes anywhere from 15-30 minutes for someone to arrive at your table. Meals are drawn out due to the lack of service. The front desk hostess' could not be more unpleasant, dismissive, and rude. Also, the food is simply OK, nothing special, and priced exceptionally high for what it is. In terms of ambiance, the furniture is stained, mildewy, and terribly kept. The large dining room remains empty throughout the day since they don't allow computers, and everyone is crammed into a small area where "computers are allowed". Also the employees take up one of the best (more private) tables in the house with their computers and coffee (stunned by this). I spoke to a once prominent member who also canceled his membership for these same reasons. It's truly so sad to see a place with such potential, lack such basic needs.

Parking can be tight, the line usually wraps around the shack, and everyone is hungry. But don't let that scare you off--the food is absolutely worth the wait. I've been here three times now, and one thing has never changed: the 3-piece fried fish and fries is mandatory. The portions are huge, and I'm calling it now... the best fish and chips in Los Angeles. The fish is unbelievably crispy on the outside, perfectly flaky on the inside, and fried exactly the way it should be. I used to order the fried seafood combo, which comes with fish, shrimp, scallops, and calamari. Everything is good, but the fish and shrimp are the stars, so now I just order the fish and chips with fried shrimp à la carte. One item that deserves way more attention on Yelp is the ceviche. It's ridiculously fresh, loaded with flavor, and served with crispy fried tortilla chips. Honestly, I'd order it every visit. The clam chowder is good too, but the ceviche steals the spotlight. The lobster roll is another surprise. I love Broad Street Oyster Company's lobster roll, but it's over almost as soon as it starts. Malibu Seafood's version is much more generous while still being packed with fresh lobster. Don't sleep on the steamed mussels either. Order a pound for the table and make sure you save the bread for the broth. That broth alone is worth coming back for. I always finish it off with one of their fresh-squeezed lemonades--the perfect pairing after a day at the beach. Seating can take a little patience too, but that's part of the experience. Grab a table overlooking the ocean and PCH if you can. Fresh seafood, ocean breeze, and flip-flops still covered in sand... that's Malibu done right. No reservations. No fancy dress code. Just outstanding seafood in one of the best casual beachside spots around. I'll keep coming back.
