Both pictures are half way done - the portion is huuuge. Expected this to be oily, but none of the items is. The bread is crispy. The veggie really help with the mix.

Stopped here for lunch you can order online or with the screens at the front! The food was really flavorful and enjoyable! I had the chicken and beef doner sandwich it was really good loved the crunch on the bread and cabbage, tomato and garlic sauce

Love this new addition to Bayside! I really enjoyed the doner sandwich with chicken and beef. The meat was very flavorful and there was enough of it in every bite. I loved the white sauce, as well as the crunch and tang of the pickled cabbage. Next time I definitely will opt out of the pide and go for a wrap because eating this was an absolute disaster. I had half my sandwich on the table by the end of the meal! I enjoyed the food a lot but I did have to wait quite a bit for it.

One of their to-go bowls has no gluten if you ask for no pita and 51g or so of protein. That's basically the food I'm preferring. It's tasty and I've been there twice. One I picked is served on lettuce salad. Attached is a list of allergens. Service was fast yet food was warm. I really dislike it when food looks lukewarm and sitting there for hours exposed to air but this place so far seems to keep standards high.

I love me a salad sandwich.

Changing my review because the place has gotten much better with their meat portions.

I ordered the doner wrap and it was absolutely delicious--plenty of meat and fresh veggies, perfectly balanced. I've also tried the sandwich at their NYC location, and the flavor was pretty much the same. It just depends on whether you prefer a wrap or sandwich bread. Personally, I found the wrap easier to eat. The place is small inside with only a few seats, so it's more of a quick-eat or takeout spot. I'll definitely be coming back for a to-go order!

Lots of lettuce, barely any doner.

Meh, can't tell if it's a lettuce wrap or a doner wrap. Barely any doner in it. Real Turkish doner is so much better than this.

We ordered lunch and I was pleasantly surprised at the portions. My daughter and i shared a chicken wrap and doner fries with chicken and beef. The wrap was wrapped very nicely and filled with meat and veggies. The only thing missing was sauce but luckily my daughter was smart enough to order one one the side. They do charge extra for sauce and pepper flakes. The chicken was well seasoned and tender. The lettuce was crisp and just a little bit of red onions made the sandwich really good. The French fries might have been a better option to have there. The way it was packaged was not good. They fill the box then force it close which made the fries a bit crushed and soggy with the meat and sauce on top. It was a hefty portion and filled with meat. Think next we will skip this unless we eating there and have more than 2 people to share with. The salad bowl also looks good and I will try that next time.

Where's the beef? Supposed beef sandwich...‍

Read about the hype and finally decided today to try it out. Bought the beef sandwich and to my dismay it was 25% beef and 75% lettuce. I know it's the beginning of the day or was it leftover meat from yesterday? Does this sandwich look like the item from the menu? I know rent is expensive on Bell Blvd but, $13 for 1/2 a head of lettuce. No thanks.

Good food, but service is very slow--even with online orders, there was a wait for assistance. Staff seemed disorganized and could be more efficient.

Came for the grand opening, well worth the wait! The kebab was SO flavorful, really stoked I don't have to wait til I'm in Europe to get my fix anymore. You've definitely got a new regular customer!

Loved the beef sambosa, the waiter actually brought them out for us to try before we ordered and told us to eat it with the spice condiments on the side with a white sauce. Very delicious! The okra was delicious and paired well with the rice. The kabuli palow had raisins and pistachios in the rice that was really delicious and added a nice sweet and savory element. Maybe we've been spoiled by our favorite restaurant back in St. Louis (Afghan Kabob House) but Ariana's was underwhelming. The server was friendly but the food was just ok. Pricey due to the location as expected but also underwhelming taste wise. We got the aushak, mantu, and kadoo bolanee (pumpkin curry with bread). All three surprisingly looked very similar (photos look almost identical as they had the same sauce drizzled with yogurt). The aushak has leeks inside while the mantu has beef. The beef was drier than we were used to and the aushak less flavorful with overpowering onion. The pumpkin was cooked in what looked like the same sauce as well but the baked bread it came with was good. They did offer complimentary chickpeas which were tastier however. Maybe other items on the menu would've been better picks!

I get the chicken and gyro mix with spicy rice. Rice is not spicy don't worry. Also their chicken is like marinated unlike some other halal carts. I get all sauces except bbq. Ask for it on the side if you don't want it to get soggy. If I'm feeling extra big back I throw some falafel on that shi too. If you wanna skip the line, just order on Grubhub. The atmosphere is cozy, elegant, and inviting -- exactly the kind of place where you instantly feel at home, whether you're there for a quiet dinner or celebrating with friends. The quality of the food was outstanding across the board. I ordered the Sultani Kebab, which was perfectly grilled, beautifully seasoned, and incredibly tender -- every bite melted in my mouth. My friend had the Lamb Shank, and it was equally phenomenal: slow-cooked to perfection, falling off the bone, and bursting with rich, authentic Persian flavors. The saffron rice was fluffy and fragrant, the bread was fresh and warm, and even the appetizers and salads showed real care and attention to detail. We literally cleaned our plates -- not a grain of rice left behind! What truly elevated the experience, though, was the service. Musa, the manager, is in a league of his own. Despite the restaurant being absolutely packed on the night we visited, he handled everything with grace, professionalism, and a genuine smile. He made sure we were seated quickly, checked in on us throughout the meal, and made every single guest feel like a VIP. Musa and his team are a powerhouse -- incredibly strong, well-coordinated, attentive, and passionate about what they do. You can tell they take real pride in their work, and that energy radiates throughout the entire restaurant. The prices were very reasonable, especially considering the generous portions, the premium quality of the ingredients, and the top-tier service. It's rare to find a place that nails all three -- food, ambiance, and hospitality -- but Ravagh absolutely does. My friends and I left feeling completely satisfied, well-fed, and already planning our next visit. If you're looking for authentic Persian cuisine in a warm, welcoming setting with a team that truly cares, Ravagh is the place. A huge thank you to Musa and the entire staff for making our evening so memorable. We'll definitely be back -- and we'll be bringing more friends with us!

Delicious from start to finish!…read more A colleague recommended Ravagh for a team dinner in the Chelsea location and I am so grateful we came here. To drink, I ordered the Tehrani Mule; a take on the moscow with a house made ginger lime juice. 8/10; a tad watery. We decided to go family style with ordering and chose the mediterranean salad, kotlet, and falafel to start. The falafel was perfectly crisp with a slightly smoky outer crust that added really great texture and flavor. A bit dry tho -- Needed the hummus and Mezze Platter to dress it up a little. Salad was refreshing, crispy and a great palette cleanser across the table. The combo platter + mixed rice was fabulous. Chicken was tender and came right off the bone (something I'm new to but it was good!). It came with a side of tzatziki and persian zhoug (?) - a minty and herby chutney that just added another layer to the aromatics of the dish. Although the rice was great, it was a really large portion even for the group of 5. It would've been nice to have the option to split to a half portion of vegetables or different grain to balance quantity. Overall 8.9/10 - Definitely worth a visit with a group for business dinner or catching up on a friend's night out. The service is great, everyone is super attentive and you can really feel that the food with made with love. So glad I tried this place and I'll be back to give their dolmeh and dessert a taste!
