With their new young doctors, I'm happy with their practice even more. With Dr Santiago retiring & phasing out, I was concerned I would lose the rapport I had with the practice. But Dr Jaini, Dr Hersch and Dr Narwal all have very nice bed side manners. This is what we need in Metuchen. I wish the office staff was a bit more organized but they are transitioning the records from paper to digital charts.

The staff is so great about scheduling and keeping things organized. We are always greeted with a smile. We have seen Dr. Dan, Dr. Howie and Dr. Santiago. Every experience has been great. I've been to this location for an appointment with cardiologist Dr. John Mondelli, who is…read morepersonable and professional as can be. He takes the time to explain the process of what's happening, provide updates of any medical research out there and answer any and all of my questions. I'm a big fan, though I also hope to stay healthy enough not to have to see him any more often than I need to! The office is pleasant with comfortable seating in the waiting room, and the examination rooms are aesthetically pleasing and clean. The staff is professional and amicable, too.

While my left carpal tunnel procedure in September itself was fine, dealing with the billing has…read morebeen very frustrating. They told me I needed to pay $1858 before the procedure due to not meeting my deductible and co insurance so I paid. Then a few weeks later I notice that the explanation of benefits showed the over charged me. After calling them many times I asked them if they over charged me and they told me " well yes and no" they told me to wait a few weeks and it will be sorted out and to not be worried unless I get a bill. Well now I am getting a bill from the doctor for $1045, that I already paid to the surgery center. I have called my doctors office and the told me that they have no had any communication from them and they have not been paid from them for the service. I had since had the right-hand carpal tunnel done by the same doctor in October but out of the other facility he works out of and they informed me that they have already been paid for that procedure so not sure what the surgical center is holding my money. I have called twice today with no response and now working on trying to issue a charge back with my credit card company to pay the doctor directly. Will never go here again.

Stay far away unless you have months of your life calling them constantly just to pay them! Wouldn't EVER come to this place again!

He also is not part of any of the large medical groups in the area (Westfield Family Practice, Summit Medical Group, etc.), which I can only describe as purely money-making organizations. I also liked the idea of visiting a Doctor of Osteopathy instead of an MD, thinking that he might recommend dietary/lifestyle changes in addition to pharmaceuticals. Instead, I had the pleasure of meeting a doctor who laughed at my request for a full blood test as part of a physical, telling me that I was young and skinny, and therefore must be healthy, and don't need to see him. Finally, I just found out that my lovely doctor, or his staff, seems to have lost my medical/prescription records. Despite being a young and healthy adult who doesn't visit the doctor other than for annual check ups (luckily), this is the last straw. Guess I have to look for a new doctor.

My interactions have been marked by unprofessional behavior, and suspected intentional disregard for my daughters care, and negligence that has directly impacted her health. Despite multiple requests to speak to the doctor the staff did not send prescription provided by the doctor to the pharmacy to change medication. This behavior seems to be motivated by personal grievances against me for complaining about their unprofessional behavior, rather than the patient's best interests. The LabCorp technician at this location failed to submit all necessary blood work orders for testing which resulted in a missed opportunity for the doctor to make an adjustment to medication. This oversight has directly comprised my daughter's health and recovery process resulting in a trip to Urgent care.
