After numerous bad experiences with other vets, we now make the trek back to Kennet Square to see Elizabeth - she's just that good. She has gone (WAY) out of her way to help with our diabetic / CKD cat, answering numerous emails and calls outside of business hours, and got prescriptions and dosages right that showed improvement in our cat where other vets had gotten it wrong. I scheduled an appointment because my cat suddenly developed a heart murmur and needed an X-ray. I was told I would be charged $75 for an exam and $185 PER X-RAY. Fine, I was prepared for the cost because my cat's health is important to me. What immediately became a problem was the attitude I received from the staff. I had already arranged for my cat's veterinary records to be faxed over because I was switching clinics. When I called, I was told they had no idea what I was talking about and had apparently received nothing. Okay, mistakes happen, but the way I was spoken to was completely unnecessary. Then I was given an attitude because they had not received my cat's rabies vaccination documentation. I explained that the vaccine had been done through the SPCA and that they were welcome to contact them directly. I was told, with an attitude, that they absolutely would not because "they never answer the phone." If you're going to deal with potential new clients that way, you're certainly not making anyone feel welcome. After speaking with THREE different staff members, the consistent attitude was enough for me to cancel before bringing my cat there. The interactions were so unpleasant that I genuinely no longer felt comfortable having my animal treated at this facility. And honestly, that is the part that bothers me the most. If this is how prospective clients are treated over the phone and at the front desk, it makes you wonder what kind of experience you would have once you actually entrust them with your animal. I understand that veterinary offices are busy. I understand that records sometimes don't come through and that staff deal with difficult situations all day. None of that excuses being unnecessarily rude, dismissive, or hostile toward someone who is simply trying to get medical care for their pet. Maybe the actual veterinarians here are wonderful. I'll never know, because the staff interaction was enough to make me take my business elsewhere. I genuinely don't understand all of the overwhelmingly positive reviews after the experience I had. Maybe I just caught them on a bad day, but three separate unpleasant interactions is more than enough for me. If you're considering this clinic, I would strongly recommend doing your own research and paying attention to how you're treated BEFORE scheduling an appointment. I certainly wish I had. Needless to say, I will not be returning, and I will be taking my cat somewhere that actually makes me feel comfortable placing his care in their hands.

Our elderly dog suffers from chronic pain resulting from a past injury. Dr. Roesener spent a lot of time carefully evaluated our dog during a recent flair and came up with a treatment plan that alleviated the dog's pain and increased his mobility. Not to mention, our dog is acting like his happy old self again. So grateful to have such a wonderful vet in our community!

It's too big and pricey. I had to take my dog in for an eye issue each week for three weeks and…read moresaw a different vet each time. I would feel more comfortable with one vet for my dog's one issue. Also, they had her on 5 different medications and tried too many procedures when they should have sent me to a specialist after the first week or two. $1k spent when I could have put most of it towards the ophthalmologist. I questioned the amount of medications a couple times as well as the price of a contact. I did not receive great explanations and as for questioning the price of the contact I was given attitude by the owner via email. A phone call would have been nice and much easier. Money does not grow on any of my trees unfortunately, so asking questions and understanding prices and medications is something I have to do. As long as I understand, it is much easier for me to move forward. I wish they would have set their pride aside and sent me to a specialist to begin with. The ophthalmologist is keeping my dog on only two of the medications and is charging me once for the initial visits and the visits to follow for this one issue. After this experience with Longwood vet center (and other experiences with Longwood) I am convinced the bottom line comes before my dog and I.

It was very quick and he went down hill in 3 weeks. We were so so sad and our vet recommended Dr Teti for euthanasia. We scheduled our day/time and Dr Teti pulls up in a little 2 seater Mazda Miata convertible. He comes to our door in a hoodie, dirty shorts and barefoot. His feet were filthy black with dirt on them. I let this go because we were focused on the task at hand. Once ready for anesthesia, he sticks our guy with needle and he must have hit something because my weak little dog screamed and screamed and just tried to get out of our arms. It was devastating. He finally fell asleep. But this was the last thing he experienced while alive. It killed me and the doctor said nothing. Once asleep, he administered the last shot and within seconds he passed. We held him and finally my husband carried him out to his two seater car. He is placed on the passenger seat, in the beating sun, and off he goes to Animal Soul in Wilmington , DE. This definitely was not the peaceful end of life we wanted for our little guy and it was devastating to us. The way he arrived, his appearance, the shot, the way he left was so disrespectful to all. --Lastly, I just had to stop at my vet the other day and I wanted to share with someone. Shared with staff and they are aware that Dr Teti's appearance is as above. I cannot believe my vet and others in area recommend him. Many might have a different experience, but I wish someone like myself did a review to inform others so they don't have to go through what we did. Rest in peace my little guy.
