Most of all she listens to what the problem is & pays ATTENTION to our PETS. She does whatever is in her power to do. We trust her & her staff a lot. They are our hearts, that's saying so much about her. I don't like going to a vet & having the Vet Tech seeing my pet. I pay for a Doctor & that's what I want. No more than I want to see a nurse when we go to the Doctor. I just love her little country office with all the warmth & caring that comes along with it. She will give it to you straight. My Pets love her as much as they can love going to the vet is possible. Each Dog leaves with a large cookie & a TOY! How many vets do you know that are hands on like this? Not many. I loved Dr. Willie from WC Animal Clinic, but he retired. Thank GOD we found Dr. Holly & Jen. Her Staff is so considerate as well. Not only this but she doesn't put them through a battery of testing before she can figure out what is wrong. It's unnecessary & $$costly. Which in my opinion why some people stay away.

Dr Mehew was so kind, accomodating, and understanding. Cannot say more!

We spent the next three months doing rehab at home with Dr. Kelly, and soon enough, Colby was as good as new. Unfortunately, a few months later, we discovered he had two ruptured discs and needed immediate surgery. The surgery did not go as planned, and Colby lost the use of his front legs. Miraculously, Dr. Kelly worked with us to beat the odds and enabled Colby not only to walk again without restrictions but also to become stronger than ever. Dr. Kelly's holistic approach ensures your pet is getting everything they need to thrive. She uses cutting-edge methods and is always researching the latest advancements to benefit animals. We continued to work with Dr. Kelly in person until she moved. We then transitioned to virtual sessions, which were also incredibly beneficial for Colby and us. Dr. Kelly was excellent at showing us how to do the exercises so that we could continue them with Colby between sessions. It is worth also noting that right a few months before Dr Kelly moved, our dog went blind. Of course that didn't stop her or our dog (who was very treat motivated) from doing their sessions. Sadly, Colby passed away a few weeks ago, but the last two years of his life would not have been the same without Dr. Kelly's support and guidance. Thank you, Dr. Kelly and your team! We could never repay you for everything you have done for our family.

We live in Philly…read morenow and have an emergency vet here, but PVS's service and care has been so outstanding that I can't imagine branching out to another vet for regular checkups. I took Darcy in the other day for her booster shots and as always was very pleased with the experience as a whole. We were greeted with a big smile by the tech working the desk and didn't wait more than 5 minutes before being escorted to the back. I never thought that someone else could "baby talk" to Darcy as much as I do, but I was proven well matched when Dr. Amy Kidd and the tech (her name has slipped my mind) walked in. Dr. Kidd got down on her knees to greet and shower Darcy with attention and admiration. Darcy's whole demeanor had changed when we walked into the office (mine would too if I knew I was about to be poked and prodded), so I was impressed when her tail perked up a little for Dr. Kidd. Dr. Kidd took her time to explain and answer my questions thoroughly. She even dressed Darcy in an adorable Easter bandana for being such a good girl during the exam. I was relieved when Darcy was all pants and tail wags by the end of the exam. I think the cost was reasonable ($160 for exam fees, tests, booster shots). Personally, receiving this kind of quality service for a good price makes the trek back to West Chester worth it for my pup.

Multiple experiences which offended me drove me to find a different provider for my fur babies. I brought my dog in for a spay, and she came home with an area of bleeding abrasion from clippers and three bleeding toenails -- none of which were mentioned to me. The nurse insisted the cut was just a "razor burn" and "not a big deal." She got defensive because the nail trimming was "a favor." My dog has clear toenails, so it's kinda hard to miss. This care strikes me as substandard. No apology, no explanation -- and when we returned for a follow up to make the situation better, the office felt hostile. We switched vets right after, and it felt the best thing for my dog. Two months later, I received an invoice for a bill I had already paid. When I called for instructions to clear up the error, the attitude was like a brick wall. Impolite and unhelpful. A secretary was dismissive, saying the burden of clearing it up was on me, and to "check the bank statements." Overall, an upsetting experience. I would not recommend this clinic.

I was able to get an appointment quickly (which was a huge relief since my cat was in a lot of pain)! I've heard some folks grumbling about the cost... yes, the surgery was pricey, but my cat's health and happiness mean the world to me, more than any amount of money. When we got to the appointment, the staff and Dr. Lewis were amazing! They showed me what was wrong with my cat's teeth... I even got to peek inside his mouth, and Dr. Lewis took the time to explain everything he was seeing and what he planned to do to help my cat. I drove home to wait until the surgery was done. Dr. Lewis called and let me know what was happening and when I could come back. The doctor and staff explained everything to me, both verbally and in writing, about what medications to give, when, what to expect during recovery, and guess what? All the liquid medications were in individual syringes, so I didn't have to worry about measuring doses or filling syringes! Dr. Lewis checked in with us during the recovery period to make sure we were doing okay! We had a checkup (2 weeks after surgery) and it was great, and my cat is back to being his usual self! I made the right decision for my beloved cat at the Right Time! I would definitely recommend VDS for their amazing care and service!
